I have been caring for various species of animals for over 10 years and run a nonprofit animal rescue here in the high desert called Sun Village Animal Rescue. We service the surrounding areas on a case by case basis when we have the space available. We specialize in caring for dog mamas and raising their puppies. I was a medic in the Army and am familiar with different types of first aid and emergency wound care.

Fully double fenced yard. Backyard fence as well as iron fence in the front. Cameras surrounds the home inside and out. We are currently renovating for a fully functional dog run and temperature controlled shed. The dogs will be crated inside for the evening or kept in the temp controlled space depending on their needs and tolerance. We are happy to update you on the animals at any time.

Lisa was absolutely perfect when watching my new baby. She followed instructions very well, sent lots of photos and videos and even cleaned up after my girl when she had accidents in her crate. Lisa also gave me some awesome tips on caring not only for my girl dog but also my senior boy. Definitely will be booking her again when needed!
I was so nervous to leave my babies with a stranger, especially after having just lost one but every day that Lisa stopped by helped ease my anxiety. She gave me advice, got some BEAUTIFUL pictures of them, and was super communicative and thorough! She even lent them some toys so they wouldn’t be bored. I’m so beyond pleased with my experience with Lisa and would absolutely love to book with her again!

I work from home caring for any animals currently in the care of the rescue and have availability throughout the week while my partner tends to the home.
