About: Hello! I am a responsible and caring pet owner based in East Syracuse with lots of love to share. My only child has has flown south away from winter for college. So I am finding myself with extra time and loads of affection to share. Whether it's caring for your dogs or cats, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. From feeding and playtime to walks and cuddles; I’ll ensure they feel safe, loved and cared for while you're away. “Zoe was great! She came over for a meet and greet and rolled with the punches as I ended up getting locked out of the apartment (lol!) She was very respectful of the space and the needs of my dog! About: I’ve had pets since I was a child. Dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, birds - you name it. I’ve always been an animal lover and even wanted to be a veterinarian until I found out was euthanasia is. In my adolescence, I began pet sitting and volunteering with the SPCA (where we adopted all of our pets); small and big dogs, and sometimes multiple at a time. I started to experiment with training and enjoyed teaching tricks and obedience commands. When I turned 19, I inherited my family dog, Rocco, and we became best friends. My favorite memories from those years are taking him to parks and reserves across New York State. In 2025, he got sick and I learned a lot from taking care of him through the end of his life. It was important to me that he felt like a happy, special dog during his last days because he filled my life with so much joy. The day before his euthanasia, I invited everyone who knew him to celebrate his life. He was showered in presents and treats and cuddles and surrounded by humans he loved. Animals share such unique bonds with us. Now, I am looking for opportunities to share my love of animals through Rover. I hope you consider me as your next pet sitter. I am available! My best times are evenings and weekends, with sporadic availability midday during the week. I work 8-4 Monday through Thursday at a local farm collective in Kirkville and a community garden in South Syracuse. In my free time, I enjoy making art in all kinds of media and being outside. I am looking to spend my time with animals and make their lives happy and bright! Trust and safety is my utmost priority. Through many years of being around different animals, I learned the important of an initial bond based in trust and respect. I hold myself with strength and create an energy of a safe and inviting environment. I am able to gauge an animal’s personality and demeanor, and adjust accordingly. For pets that love to play, I am always happy to bring out my goofy and fun-loving side. For more reserved companions, I enjoy taking things slow and doing calmer activities. Most of all, a pet’s joy and comfort is my number one goal!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with three schnauzers and have over 5 years of experience caring for dogs of all kinds. From pups to senior dogs, shy pups like Luna, playful rescues like Moose, and spunky dogs like Pippa, I have loved getting to know them all. I have experience with feeding, administering medications, and maintaining consistent daily routines. My patient and attentive approach helps me connect with all types of dogs. I love giving them plenty of playtime, cuddles, and walks; one wag at a time 🐾 As a recent college graduate, I have a remote job that gives me the flexibility to work from home. I can take dogs on walks during my breaks or stay with them at home. I am available during the weekdays and weekends to ensure your dog has consistent attention, companionship, and care whenever you need it. Every dog I care for becomes part of my family. I provide walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles, making sure they have a safe, comfortable space to relax. I follow their usual routines, whether that’s lounging on their couch, resting in their crate, or engaging in activities. I’m happy to help with anything that makes them feel most at home, including discussing any medication needs in advance to ensure their care is safe and consistent.

I provide regular updates with photos and messages, so you'll always know how your pet is doing. Whether your pet loves long walks, interactive play, or simply relaxing with a companion, I'll make sure they receive the care, exercise, and affection they deserve. My goal is to make every pet feel at home and give owners complete peace of mind. I’m currently working a part time job so I will have plenty of time to play and give them plenty of love while I’m there. When caring for pets in a client's home, I work to keep their routine as consistent as possible to reduce stress. I provide feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box or waste cleanup, medication if needed, and lots of attention. I also respect my client's home by keeping it clean and secure, providing updates and photos, and communicating promptly about how their pet is doing.
