“Christine and Matthew are wonderful! Great communication and very accommodating. Ollie is always a little nervous when I first leave him somewhere new, but he couldn’t have been more happy and calm when I picked him up. Will definitely try to book with them again in the future. Highly recommend”

“Polina is a nice intelligent person. I highly recommend her. I left my puppy for 9 nights and Polina kept in touch all the time about how my puppy is and what my puppy is doing. She really takes good care of my puppy, by walking him every 3 hours and feeding him as I asked her to. When I came to pick the puppy up, I found that the puppy was very happy, vitally joyful, and very active.”

“Donna took such wonderful care of my dog, Zoey! She sent me pictures and videos daily which helped me not to miss her as much. Normally when I pick Zoey up after being away she literally crawls up my legs to get to me, but this time she was excited to see me but I could tell she loved being at Donna’s so much that she was going to miss it!”

“Tawni is an amazing pet sitter. Iggy, my pet dog apparently had a great time, evident from the numerous pictures that Tawni shared pro-actively and also she was pretty energized on her return :-) I am sure Iggy did not miss us a bit :-) Thanks Tawni for all your help and support. We sure have found a second home for Iggy in our absence.”

“I needed a last minute boarding for my dog on Memorial Day Weekend. I had never used Rover previously but a friend recommended it. At first, I was a little nervous leaving my dog with strangers but didn’t have many other options. I brought my dog to Matthew and Christie’s house to meet them and their dog a day or two prior and was immediately relieved. They have a very pet friendly set up, fenced in yard, and our dogs immediately became friends. While I was out of town, they sent me updates and pictures, responded to all my messages immediately, and made me comfortable knowing my dog was in excellent hands. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs a doggy sitter!”

“Georgianne was a wonderful sitter for my anxious lil pup! She sent photos regularly of Sadie Mae playing with her pup Penny and just lounging around. I will be using her again! :)”

I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. I am always available after 3:00 p.m. during the week, before 8:00 a.m. or anytime on the weekends. I've got a very pet friendly home. I live in a single story, ranch house that has a fully fenced back yard. I do not have children at home that we would need to worry about and I'm very respectful if needed to go into a client's home. Safety and security are always at the forefront.
“Jenna is amazing with animals. I have never been able to leave my pup and feel comfortable. He's a dog with many needs, medical, behavioral you name it. He gets into tons of trouble. Jenna kept him safe. We will be using her again next month!”

“First time user of a pet sitter and was a bit nervous. Bridget took great care of our cats, left thorough updates & pictures. Was very accommodating when it came to additional request. Ziggy and MoMo were happy with her care. If Lemmy had decided to come out of hiding, I’m sure he would have found there was no reason to be scared. Would definitely recommend and use again Bridget again!”

“Alison and Robert are dream pet sitters. They were kind enough to drop in on my cat during a recent trip (and my first time using Rover). They went above and beyond throughout the visit to spend time with her and to write daily updates that shared how she was doing and her level of interaction. Highly recommend if you are looking for pet carers during your travels!”

“First time using rover and I really appreciated Bekki's prompt response for a last minute trip for a few days. Bekki kept me updated throughout my time away and took great photos of my sweet kitty. She even brought some extra food for him since I was running low! Although, i didn't get to meet Bekki due to short notice, I would definitely book her again!!!!! Thanks so much Bekki!”

“Adriana took great care of our cats! I wasn’t worried about them being okay while I was gone while she was checking in on them. She provided lots of pictures and details of her visits. She also went above and beyond to help with some house upkeep during her visits which I really appreciated.”

“Janyl went above and beyond to provide amazing care to my two cats while I was away for two weeks. I was nervous to leave them for this amount of time especially because one is elderly and has some health issues. Janyl immediately put me at ease during our initial meet and greet. She was very thorough, asked great questions, and was clearly very knowledgable. Janyl had great intuition when it came to the cats' temperaments. She checked in with me daily, sent lots of pictures, and gave me a detailed run down of what she and the cats did each day. She even clipped their nails during her visit and vacuumed. My home was neat and tidy when I returned from a long travel day (so nice). The cats seemed to be very comfortable with her and I was able to enjoy my time away knowing they were in such good hands. Thank you, Janyl!”

“We are so glad Kilie was able to take care of our bunny while we were out of town for the week. She is so kind, caring, patient with shy pets, and very communicative. We looked forward to her rover cards, photos, and updates that she sent of our little guy. We will be booking with Kilie again!”

“We have had Chelsea care for our cat multiple times now, she was always very reliable and communicative. She sends multiple photos and responds quickly if I have a question. Also our cat, who is a bit of an elderly grouch, likes her and looks forward to her visits!”

“My cat felt safe interacting and snuggling up to John within minutes of first meeting him, and I think it’s because of John’s calm, intentional, gentle presence and demeanor. I couldn’t believe this is his first time cat-sitting because he was so good with my cat. He was quick to respond and was communicative throughout the visits, and asked many questions to get to know my cat’s routines and preferences. John was so polite and easygoing. He went above and beyond caring for my cat for the weekend, and this was a last minute scheduling given last minute plans. So grateful for John.”

“We absolutely loved having Kirsten here with our cats. She was professional and caring. Even our shy cat came out to play and get attention. We would definitely recommend Kirsten and have her back again to care for our cats Midge & Poppy.”

“Christalle is the best! She watched my pup during the work day and was so attentive to him. He had so many walks and play sessions and was truly tired at the end of the day… which is hard to do with such a high energy little guy. She was patient with my schedule and clearly loves animals.”

About: Your pets will be well taken care of under my supervision. I love to run and walk so your dog will have lots of exercise. I am willing to give medications if needed, I have experience from working at ASPCA. I also love to groom and give baths so your dog will never come home dirty, and nails can be trimmed as needed. Animals are my main priority, and I am currently apprenticing to become a full-time groomer. So this is exceptional experience for my resume. My clients shouldn't have any doubt that their pup/fur baby is not taken care of, and I will only be a phone call away if needed. I have a very flexible schedule, and will always put my clients and their animals first. I currently have an open schedule and a house to care for your pets if needed. I'm available anytime and would love to take the time to care for your fur babies! I have a yard with a long runner for pets that need the extra running space. I also provide long walks and minimal training and grooming. I have 6 years experience grooming dogs.
“D treats our pet like her own. We love having her as our go-to sitter for our pup! I would 1000% recommend her again and again! It's such a relief knowing our dog is getting the love and care she deserves while we're busy with our everyday lives. Whether it's a last-minute pop-up visit or our regular daycare days, D is always fantastic!”

“Daylin is our go to sitter for our 18-month doodle! She is very quick and responsive - even when I forget to request our booking until last minute. We receive pictures throughout the day and Cooper always looks like he's having fun. She's always accommodated all our food requests and pick up / drop off time changes without hesitation. We will definitely continue to use Daylin and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!”

About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.
“She was amazing! Neemo has a lot of anxiety and she took care of him and made him feel at ease! I've never seen him come back so calm after staying with someone. Would definitely work with her again!”

“Ashley was great! She was on-time and flexible with our schedule. She was available on short notice, which was very helpful! She sent us a video of our pup relaxing and watching a movie on her lap while we were out and about, which made us feel good about his doggie day care experience.”

“Gunner enjoyed his stay and we felt relieved with him in Diana’s care. Very lovely young lady with best interest of pups in mind. Would use her again. She was awesome with last minute request. Thank you!!”

“Irina is an outstanding dog sitter and a wonderful presence in our neighborhood. She is highly professional, reliable, and clearly experienced with dogs of all temperaments. She took excellent care of our newly adopted dog, who can be anxious and uncertain when we are away. Irina was patient, attentive, and reassuring, which made a noticeable difference in our dog’s comfort and confidence. When we returned, our dog was calm, content, and clearly well cared for. We would not hesitate to recommend Irina to anyone looking for a thoughtful, trustworthy, and compassionate dog sitter.”

“Our dogs were well cared for and tired out when we picked them up! Extra attention was given to special dietary instructions for one of them and pick up and drop off was efficient. We were glad to use them again and know they were in good hands!”

“Eden was amazing with Krypto for daycare. As soon as I met she and Gal, I knew that Krypto was in good hands and I felt very comfortable leaving him with them. Her communication was great and the level of care that provided is unmatched. I’m very thankful that she was able to take care of him for daycare!”

About: I have had pets in my family for all of my life. Always dogs and cats, but also many different reptiles, birds, rabbits, ferrets, hamsters and both fresh and salt water aquariums. It is all too much work to keep so many pets myself, so I figured Rover was a way that my family and myself can share our love for pets with others’ animals. I am experienced with dogs of all ages from puppies to seniors. Special care or medicines are not an issue for me. I work evening hours, typically 3 or 4PM until 10pm-12am. My wife works 8am- 4pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and works from home on Monday and Thursday. We have two responsible teens who also help with our pet care. Someone is almost always home throughout every day with the exception of up to 2 hours in the afternoon. I have a fenced in yard and an 8 year old dog who loves to play with other dogs. She enjoys when our friends bring over their dogs and she gets to run around in the yard with them. We have a gate to use in the stairs in case the dogs want or need a break from one another. Visiting pets will be kept in the downstairs of the house so the cats have a safe place upstairs. Most of the fenced in backyard is covered by cameras for your peace of mind. As an added bonus, my daughter has a dog agility course complete with jumps that she loves to run our pup through. Your little friend will get plenty of exercise. We also live on a quiet dead-end circle that provides a nice leash walking area with minimal traffic. As far as caring for your pets on your home, I will follow your instructions precisely and leave your house as-is.

I will add, there is no option to add rates for animals aside from cats and dogs. I have an additional rate for animals in tanks or cages at a rate of $10 per tank/cage per day. After leaving my office job to fully embrace my passions, I’m now living the dream and dedicating myself to what truly inspires me—providing exceptional care for animals! Along with being a dedicated pet sitter, I’m also a yoga instructor and a songwriter, constantly striving to grow these professional paths. One of the best parts of my transition is the flexibility in my schedule, which allows me to offer personalized care to each of your pets. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll, a hike in nature, or a playful afternoon indoors, I can adapt to your pets’ needs and make sure they get the attention and love they deserve. I take pride in offering luxury-level care for your beloved pets. During house-sitting stays, I ensure they receive ample attention and playtime to support their mental and physical well-being. “Meghan was awesome, she took great care of my dog and kept me updated throughout the stay, she's also a great photographer so you'd get nice shots of your pets, a 100% recommended.”

“Jenna is amazing with animals. I have never been able to leave my pup and feel comfortable. He's a dog with many needs, medical, behavioral you name it. He gets into tons of trouble. She was able to keep him safe qnd happy and he got a ton if exercise and attention just like he was at home. We have even tried a doggy daycare and he was hurt while we were away. Jenna kept him safe. We will be using her again next month!”

“Kiera took such wonderful care of my senior guy! I dropped him off at her home while I moved into my new place and I had such peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. Kiera sent me pics and videos of Chico playing and out on walks with her sweet senior girl! I will definitely bring Chico back to Kiera’s in the future.”

“Joan and Duncan quickly agreed to do a meet and greet at their home before Carmella's (my 11 yr old pitbull) first time staying with them, with maybe less than a week before I needed them, so that was very kind. Carmella had a pleasant overnight stay with Joan and Duncan. They were very communicative, sending me updates via text on how she was doing and pictures of her playing with her toys and cuddling. I absolutely appreciate things like that!”

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me and remains one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I currently have my own dog, who I adopted as a puppy while I was in college and is now 4 years old. Raising her has given me experience with training, building routines, and understanding different stages of a dog’s development. I’m comfortable administering medication, brushing and bathing, handling anxious behaviors, and keeping pets on their regular care schedules. I also have experience walking dogs that pull and can confidently handle strong or high-energy pups while keeping walks safe and structured. Whether your pet needs active playtime, consistent routines, or gentle care and attention, I’m patient and attentive, and I treat every pet like my own. As a current medical student, I understand the importance of flexibility and prioritizing a pet's needs. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and dependable. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I am excited to learn about your pet's unique personality and am more than happy to accommodate any specific requests. As a medical student, my schedule is currently very flexible, which allows me to thoughtfully plan pet care into my daily and weekly routine. While there are periods of time when I am less available, I’m committed to clear communication about my availability and will always work to accommodate your pet’s needs as best as possible. Time management is extremely important to my academic program, and I bring that same organization, dependability, and attention to detail to pet care. I take pride in my work and practice compassionate, attentive care in everything I do. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and value the trust you place in me to care for them. In my home, I provide a safe, calm, and structured environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. I currently live in an apartment located directly across the street from a dog park with both large and small dog areas, which allows for convenient, safe, and appropriate exercise based on your dog’s size and temperament. The neighborhood is safe and very pet-friendly. I’m attentive to maintaining each pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medications or special care needs. I make sure pets receive both physical activity and plenty of attention and affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize consistency and respect for your space. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and maintain your pet’s usual routine to minimize stress. I’m also willing to travel or make special trips if your dog attends daycare, has a preferred park, or enjoys a specific walking route. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable and cared for as possible, wherever they are.
“Staci took good care of my Bella while I was away for two weeks. She always responded promptly to my messages, and sent photos every few days to update me with Bella’s activities. Thanks Staci!”

“Thank you again Erix! In town for family weekend and Erix was able to accommodate us at the last minute. Erix said our Coco is awesome and we think Erix is awesome too!!”

“Irina was fabulous!! This was only the third time we've ever left Smitty and the first time he wasn't with family. With her amazing attitude and attention, he thrived! Smitty had a great time with Irina and their dog, and we knew he would from the moment we dropped him off. We were nervous to leave him, but it was so clear he was in good times. Next time we're traveling without our pup, we'll definitely bring him back to Irina's!”

“Lisa and Jon took care of my dog for a full week and they were excellent. Great communication, and regular updates with pictures, and our dogs seemed to get along great. We had no issues and I’ll definitely be coming back to Lisa and Jon the next time I have to leave town :)”

“Chelsea is an angel. My Rocky is terrified of people and we didn’t think we would be able to leave him with anyone but Chelsea went above and beyond to make him feel safe and secure. She even hand fed him to get him to eat.”

“Wonderful dog sitter. I had absolutely no concern when I dropped off my Labrador, except that she might like him more than me 😊. He was very flexible taking in my dog over Easter weekend with less than a day of notice because I had to be in the hospital for surgery on very short notice. I appreciate what he did and I know my dog enjoyed her stay!”
“Kara was a kind and energetic person who bonded with our dog immediately. Mac was a happy dog who was not in a hurry to leave Kara’s care when we picked him up at the end of his stay. We will have a safe and healthy place to care for our dog in the future. Thank you,Kara.”
