About: I have taken care of and trained my golden for 9 years before she recently passed. I have been dog watching the past few years and have always enjoyed having a short-term companion around! I know how scary it can be to find a safe and suitable sitter online as I used to use Rover for my golden years ago. I have always been a dog person and love interacting with new pups and breeds. I also live about 4-6 mins off of the LIE for easy drop-offs/pick-ups! I have my phone easily accessible for quick responses and update multiple times throughout the day with messages and pics of your dog! I am a dog lover who lives an active lifestyle and enjoy going on long walks and spending time outdoors. I am available for dog boarding, doggy day care, and walks depending on scheduling and early notice. I can also provide pick up and drop off services for an additional fee. I make sure that your dog always has water available and that they stay on schedule with meal times or treat intakes. I will regularly walk and play with your dog and can also take them to a nearby dog park or to meet up with other pups. I will never leave your dog unattended for more than 1-2 hours and have other members of the household to provide company as well.

About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. I’ve had a love for dogs since I was 13 when my mom finally agreed to get our very first dog. Ever since then I’ve been the go to care taker for him between my mom and I. I even help my aunt on the weekends with her furry pets when we visit. Currently it’s been 3 years of being a full time dog caretaker and I’m loving every minute of it! I have class from 4-9pm Tuesday & Wednesday and my work schedule is typically the day shift on Monday and Thursday. Again, if there are any deviances, I will mark them on the calendar! I'm happy to let your pet set the pace-- if they're a cuddle bug, I'll give them snuggles, and if they need some time to warm up, I'll sit quietly while they get used to me. If your puppy feels the need for speed, I'll take him on a sprightly jog, but if your senior prefers to take the scenic route, we can stop and sniff every tree. I'll listen to your instructions and preferences and theirs.

About: I’m active and enjoying running/walking. I grew up with a dog in the house and took care of her until her last days. As she got older I still tried to enrich her but playing with her and training her on new commands. I work full time but I'm free on the weekends and home. About: I had my first dog at the age of 15. I know how to take care of the dogs, follow instructions to feed prescription dog food, and walk them. I have been helping a lot of friends taking care of their dogs when they were away. I am a teacher. I will be free after 3:45 pm and over the weekend. I normally sleep in Saturday morning, but if you need me to be there early, I can manage to wake up. My cat is the "only child" in my house. Sadly he doesn't go along with the other pets. But I can go into your house to take care of the pets. The safety zone is important for pets as well.
