About: I’ve grown up with dogs most of my life and have lived with multiple cat owners as well. I feel like pets like my calm and loving demeanor 😊 I enjoy the flexibility this profession allows and I love the outdoors. If your pet wants a long walk in the sun or just needs to stretch its legs in the backyard I’m down for either! 😁 I feel as though my laid back demeanor is great for working with animals and even the pickiest cats have fallen for me. I’m great at reading the body language of animals and know when they want a belly rub or when they want me to sit six feet away.

“Johana was great with my Yuki. Yuki needs her medicine twice per day, early in the morning and in the evening and Johana was able to make sure she was taken care of. It's not easy for me to trust that Yuki is being taken care of, but Johana did a great job and sent me notes to know that she was ok and happy and safe. She went the extra mile for me and I really appreciate how nice and supportive she is.”

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I’m very attentive. I go above and beyond. I am loving and patient with animals of any age I have a Cavalier that is 4 years old. My schedule is flexible. I live in an area with lots of parks and places for your dog to run around I currently live in a small apartment, so I’m not offering pet care in my home at this time. I’m happy to provide walks, drop-ins, or care in your home where your pet is most comfortable.

Communication is important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe and cared for, and for you to feel completely comfortable trusting me in your home.

She continuously communicated with us, regardless of time zone differences, sent lots of pictures of them having fun, and kept our home in great condition. “Karla’s the best! My dog loves her. He has severe periodontal disease and numerous other conditions and despite his issues she loves and cuddles with him just as I would. Over his almost 14 year lifespan I’ve left him with numerous sitters and she’s the only one I’ve felt good about leaving him with. I have her stay at my home and she treats the place like it’s her own or maybe even better. For me, having someone I fully trust to love and care for my little one is key. My only reservation in writing this recommendation is that I don’t want her to be booked when we need her. :)”
