“Wonderful experience. He is super attentive and really wants to know your pet's needs. His place is beautiful and with so much space any pet would be happy and comfortable. Would def recommend.”

“Poppy had such a great time here on Christmas Day! Avi was awesome and took such good care of her. She was the only small dog there that day, and there were 4 other bigger dogs but they were all so friendly and Avi was very attentive and careful with gradually introducing Poppy to them. You could easily tell that Avi loves dogs with how he interacts and talks about the dogs that were there that day. He also sent us videos of Poppy having so much fun. So much so that she was so tired even until the next day! I would never hesitate to have them care for Poppy again in the future! I highly recommend!”

“I commend Jiyao for the great care provided to my dog, Halo, during my initial Rover experience. Jiyao's patience, enthusiastic approach, and excellent communication ensured my dog's safe and happy return. His services are also competitively priced! We will gladly utilize his services again.”

“Jojo had a wonderful time with Jaimie. I messaged her about meet & greet before booking and she was so flexible with scheduling. I reached out to her with a very short notice and she still agreed to take care of my jojo! She sent me videos and pics throughout the days and it was so easy to communicate with her. Jojo loved playing with Jaimie’s dog, Ollie who is so friendly. I’m so so happy I’ve found Jaimie in my area. If you’re looking for a good sitter, stop looking! Jaimie is the one!”

About: I raised my dog as a child for 15 years then raised another dog as an adult for 15 years. I cannot own a dog right now, so would love the opportunity to care for dogs again. I am back in central Jersey, taking care of my Mom full time, giving me available opportunity for dogs 24/7. I have no full nor part time job, so much much down time here. I have a large empty townhouse in central Jersey with only one other inhabitant-sweet adorable senior Mom. There is an outdoor patio and courtyard, that leads to the grounds of the community where there is a dog walk and plenty of green grass to run and walk on. We have a large empty room that I can play fetch with a dog, and throw a toy on a rainy day or anytime.

“Joanna is great. She asked the right questions and was very responsive whenever I asked her one. She kept sending pictures and videos during the stay. Our dog, Luna, liked her and went back to her even after I was there to pick her up. It gives you such a peace of mind when you know someone as caring is watching your pet. We plan to use her again.”

“Jose was a great host for our puppy Shiva. We had other arrangements that fell through, but he was very accommodating by providing daycare services for Shiva while our family enjoyed Six Flags. We highly recommend!”

Laraine definitely takes all precautions and does a thorough intake. We discussed everything about Stevie and her schedule. I feel comfortable and confident leaving Stevie with her anytime.”

“Whitney & Michael were fantastic even with changes to the booking and unforeseen circumstances with my work day. They were extremely accommodating, communicated well and were thoughtful/understanding. They sent photos of Isla and she had a great stay. I will book with them in the near future!”

“Kiana was amazing — She clearly adores dogs, and she spent time chatting with me before I left so both my pup and I felt comfortable. She sent me pictures though out the day showing my dog enjoying playing and napping. Her pricing is fair, and her location is convenient and pleasant. We will absolutely be repeat customers. Thanks, Kiana!”

“Jaya and her family have the most wonderful environment for dogs. She is welcoming and kind and she obviously cares and understands dogs. She welcomed our somewhat shy retriever mix and made her feel welcome and then brought her dogs out one at a time to make sure our dog felt comfortable. Within three minutes, her two beautiful and friendly dogs and our dog were running thru her HUGE, securely fenced backyard. The pictures she sent showed that she had a good time all day, whether playing outside or resting inside. We feel very confident that we have done best for our dog when we leave her with Jaya and her kind family.”

“Emma had a blast with Kate and her dogs! Kate sent tons of pictures and videos and I’m so happy Emma got so much love during her time at doggy daycare. Would definitely book with Kate again!”

“This was our first time with Anna and Zilin and it went swimmingly! Our pup Vini took a quick liking to them both and felt at ease to play for the majority of his stay- where he would typically be reserved the first few visits. Clearly, this is an indication of Anna and Zilin’s ability to provide the right energy and make Vini feel right at time. A great result on top of a last minute booking. Definitely look forward to booking again in the near future. Thank you both!”

“Renee was very kind, friendly, and patient when messaging her and in person. She is very pleasant. Renee assured me that my dog will be in good hands. My dog is happy and I am sure he enjoyed his time with Renee. Thank you, Renee!”

Tom Z.Star Sitter
“You know how some people get along with animals better than they do with people? Those people who have bumper stickers that say, "I love my dog", or...even better, "I love my dog, it's people I'm not so sure about"? Basically, the kind of animal lover who truly believes that animals are essentially better people than people? Tom Zuback isn't one of them. If he had a bumper sticker, it would say "I love my dog, but don't worry, I could learn to like you, too." Tommy is a lover. For the purposes of Rover.com, I'm going to focus on his love of dogs. When my dog died, he checked on me several days a week for several more weeks than was required as a friend. And in speaking with him, he would ask what I missed most. He understands the relationship between people and their dogs. He was a City slicker for many years, but he did not allow that to impede his ability to be a dog lover. While his apartment would not let him keep a dog there, he was a steadfast sitter to his friends' dogs, especially to labradoodles Trevor and Spencer - for over 15 years! I've known Tommy since we were 7 years old. When I met him, and for what seemed like our entire childhood, he had Suzette. Suzette was a French poodle, and Suzette was also the friendliest poodle ever met - then and 50 years later! No doubt, Suzette was loved, and she couldn't help but be kind to others because of the love she felt at home. Never did I think twice about leaving my dogs in the care of Tommy. He's the kind of person who hears about a dog who attacked someone and whose first thought is "what was that dog going through? What happened to that dog?" - his last thought is "that dog is bad". By profession, Tommy is a photographer. While he has had the opportunity to photograph celebrities and People magazine-worthy moments, and more than once been at the right place at the right time to catch the star of the moment, if you asked him about his favorite photo gig, he'd tell you that it's the one with the dogs. I don't know the name of it, actually. How funny is that! He's been doing it for years, and it's not about the status of the event or the opportunity it presents in Tommy's mind/career. It's a fundraiser for dogs, and each year when he is called upon to be its photographer, I know I am going to get a bunch of photos with the photographer being loved by, or loving, a dog. As I write this, I'm not entirely sure who takes those photos, but all I know is that Tommy is in his element. (Side note: he must do a fantastic job photographing this dog promoting event, as he's asked back year after year.) I have zero reservations about Tommy being a friend to any dog, and I have all the confidence in the world to recommend him as a pet walker/sitter/lover. I may trust him more with a dog than with my mother. Just kidding, but hopefully you get the idea. He loves, fur or no fur, but fur is a plus. Thanks for the opportunity to recommend Tommy (Tom) Zuback.”

Dina N.
“Dina is an absolute treasure! From the moment she walked through the door, it was clear that she has a deep, genuine love for animals. My pet immediately warmed up to her—which never happens on the first meeting! Dina brought such a calming, joyful energy that made the whole experience stress-free for both me and my furry friend. She went above and beyond, sending daily updates and the sweetest photos that made my day every time. It was clear that she wasn’t just doing a job—she was truly connecting, playing, and caring for my pet with the same affection and attention she’d give her own. Coming home, I found a happy, relaxed pet and a home that had been cared for just as thoughtfully. If you’re lucky enough to have Dina care for your pets, trust me—you’ve found someone extraordinary.”
