Waking up and having coffee with my roommate's fur baby is the best part of my day. And boy does she let you know if I'm unable to have coffee with her. About: My saying is always “your pets are my pets” because I do truly believe all critters deserve the same amount of love, respect and compassion I grew up on a horse boarding ranch so I’ve taken care of ALL types of animals throughout my life.(: I work 4 1/2 days a week and would love to spend my days off helping others by taking care of their pets while they are away. About: I have loved cat and dogs since I was 5, I have taken care of them since I was about 6. I love animals and want to make sure that they feel loved and safe when I am with them. Though I am a full time student in college, I am able to take care of animals as often as needed. Your fur baby is my priority. I have 3 cats in my home. One is very child-like (loves to be held like an infant), another wants you to play toss-the-toy as often as possible, and another is food-obsessed. All are indoors. I give them all love when they ask for it. They are fed twice a day. Litter boxes are changed every other day. I used to have a pupper, but she passed away back in 2020. I fed her special cancer-fighting foods (safe for dogs) daily, took her on walks/daily outings, provided lots of fetch/toy time, and maintained daily fur/skin care routines. Your baby is safe with me; they will be well-loved and looked after!

About: I’ve worked with cats and dogs from all walks of life. I have a wide range of experience from working for an amazing rescue called Canine Connections and personal experience. Canine Connections rescue is a program within the Washington state juvenile institution that teaches the juvenile residents how to care for and work with cats and dogs. I was an employee and ran this program within the juvenile institution. We would take in puppies/dogs from local humane societies to train them generalized life skills, walking skills, and take complete care of multiple dogs at one time. We worked with dogs of all different sizes, ages, and breeds so during the training it was important to determine target behavior that the individual dogs would need to succeed in their future furever home. The puppies/dogs would be posted for adoption once they’ve gone through the program and training. I have experience with all types of handling equipment (front/back harnesses, gentle leader, prong, etc.), walking skills/basic obedience training, and the everyday care of dogs who are timid with people and/or other animals to very excited and distracted dogs. We trained dogs with positive reinforcement, which includes a lot of patience and treats, and taking the time to learn what the dogs strengths and weaknesses are to be successful. We also had a program that socialized and cared for cats and kittens while they waited to be adopted. I realized that I have a passion for working with animals, and I would love to continue in this field since I recently moved to this area for my new chapter in life. My friends and family have come to me over the years to assist with problem behaviors and care for their pets. I have 3 dogs of my own that are apart of my family, they are 2 pugs and a Newfoundland so I have years of personal experience working with small and large dogs. I have dealt with animals who eat anything that’s up for grabs to a very specific diet. I understand the importance of routine for our animals and will respect what you need for your pet. For special care - If you need to make a very detailed list I would love for you to share with me and know it will be followed. I am comfortable and familiar with oral medications from puppies/dogs at the rescue I worked at and dogs of my own. My pugs are higher maintenance so I am familiar with medications administered by mouth, ears, and eyes. I also love to brush and maintain animals fur/coats, it is really a good way to bond if your animal is comfortable with it. I am currently going through a grooming course, and I have experience of my own from my personal dogs and working with puppies/dogs at the rescue. This includes working with animals that do not like or are new to grooming. I am mainly experienced with simple brushing and bathing, so I will stick to that level for now and I hope to be a groomer in the future once I’ve gone through my course and gained experience. You don’t have to worry about coming home to a fresh bob cut on your pet, luckily I have dogs of my own to practice on for now! About: Keeping pets happy and healthy has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I adopted my chocolate lab Chewie when he was just 5 weeks old and have been loving on him for the last 5 years. I currently live with 5 dogs and care for two, ranging from an 8 year old bit bull mix, to a 1 year old German Shepard mix, a 5 year old Husky, and two 100+lb labs. I go on walks daily and try to give them the best lives possible. Exercise and overall health/wellbeing are all strong passions of mine as well. I try to walk at least an hour every day. If I can help other families by taking their pets out for walks or spending one on one time, then that is a win win for me. I am currently a stay at home mom so my schedule is flexible. It is important to me that pets get optimal attention and love which is exactly what I provide for my own dogs, as well as others when they are under my care.

About: I am an experienced caregiver of pets. In my family is Otis the dog, cats Earl and Sarah, a Galah Cockatoo named Warren and Henry and Marty McFly the budgies. Otis gets along with both dogs and cats and loves to have a buddy to romp with in the yard. My husband and I are mostly retired and can travel to your home around the US to care for your home and pets. We both have lived on acreage and have taken care of animals since childhood. Besides house pets, we love to care for caged pets as well as goats and horses Pet sitting in our home is minimal but with the right fit we can accommodate one pet.
