I provide clear boundaries, routine, and guidance so pets feel secure and understood. Pets are given time to play, eat, potty, train, and rest. I incorporate basic manners and calm behavior into daily care so they’re not just being watched—they’re learning. I have a young child in the home, so I need to know ahead of time if a pet is sensitive or reactive around children. Requirements: Up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies) No intact dogs over 2 years old Must be safe to handle in a home environment I also use long leads when appropriate to safely allow freedom while maintaining control, which is helpful for recall and behavior work.

About: I've had pets my entire life since I was a child: dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, & even snakes and lizards. I love all animals and enjoy connecting & taking care of them. I am usually very good at being tuned in with animals and feel very comfortable with them, and them with me. I've raised and trained several pets in my lifetime, so I'm familiar with what that takes. I'm also a relatively strong and physically active person, so I'm comfortable with larger dogs, and can handle taking them on walks, even if they tend to be high energy. I'm also comfortable with being assertive when needed. The combination of my love for animals and my good communication and people skills, along with being responsible, respectful, reliable, and trust worthy is what make me great for this type of work. Since I also love to travel, I understand the stress of leaving your home and your pets behind when you need to leave. About: I grew up raising my two dogs, Nike and Sparky, since they were babies. Nike is a dachshund and Sparky is a little chunky chihuahua. They are both 11 years old. I also babysit my friend’s frenchie, Appa, when they go out of town. I currently work full-time, and am free in the evenings. I am also free during the weekends. I am pretty active and love to go on hikes and runs. I am a super outdoorsy person but can also be a couch potato. Although I don’t have a yard, I live in a super pet friendly neighborhood. About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old, my senior girl I’ve had since then is 18 yrs old and still going strong! I have two big Great Pyrenees/ Saint Bernard mixes and we take them on walks regularly. I work a nine to five and am free on weekends, so I hang out and take care of my pets in the evenings when I get off work. I don’t currently live at home with my pets so I don’t get to see them as often as I would like because I’m in school. My dogs live with my parents and we have a fenced in yard and a space in our house just for the dogs. I live by myself though if your dog isn’t comfortable around other animals!
