“Trinity is a true professional rover! We're always apprehensive about using new rovers, but we're new to the area. We matched with Trinity and she came by to meet the doggos and get the lowdown. Once we left for vacation, Trinity was all over it! Highly communicative and flexible, she took care of all three of the dogs AND the cat. She went above and beyond in loving the fur babies, even cleaning water bowls, excess fur out of the kennels and any messes inside AND outside as needed. She gave us daily progress reports and pics of the animals and asked us for guidance with any issues she faced in the house. We HIGHLY recommend Trinity to anyone looking for a true animal lover to be your Rover!”

About: When I was little and people asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always said 'dog walker' — and now I finally get to live that dream! This summer I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pets. I have experience with both small and large dogs, as well as cats, and I treat every animal like my own. “Danielle did a fantastic job! One of my cat’s takes a long time to warm up to new people, and in a matter of days he was coming downstairs to greet Danielle! I really thought she’d never get to see him. Not only did she feed them but she spent a lot of time cuddling them, which I know they wanted more than food. She was very good about taking out all the cat waste/food waste and cleaning their bowls after each visit. Her update photos were so adorable of my boys too. She was also very consistent on the time of her drop ins, which my cats need for routine of it. I will definitely hire her again to be my go-to sitter when I’m out of town. I had nothing to worry about!”

About: I’ve almost always had a dog and/or cat(s) in my home. I’ve been the primary caregiver for my current dog for over 8 years now. She is a highly anxious dog who has to have pills medication twice daily for years now. So I’m very comfortable with administering pills to dogs. I’m most familiar with anxious dogs and they almost always calm down relatively quickly to my gentle grounded nature. I enjoy seeing how happy a simple walk or hike can give a dog and love to give them many opportunities to do so. I have several years experience with pet/house sitting for neighbors and friends. My discipline style = positive reinforcement and gentle but firm reminders. Redirecting their attention typically works wonders. My schedule is currently open to new clients. About: Experienced vet tech with a dedication to positive reinforcement and science-backed and evidence based training methods. I've worked with animals of all kinds- from horses to rats and everything in between. I work with a flexible schedule, and am an online student. I can accommodate diverse needs. My own dog gets 30-60 minutes of dedicated exercise and training time daily, on top of his required snuggling needs. I will come to you for training sessions, walking, home checks, and mid-day potty breaks for your pets as needed. I am also proficient with medication administration if needed.

About: Some of my earliest memories were with my best friend, Gus. Who was a chocolate lab with floppy ears. Since Gus, I’ve been lucky enough to have a couple other best friends. We recently lost our 16 year old pug, and with that loss I have a doggie shaped hole in my heart. And what better way to fill that? I recently moved back to Olympia and am currently unemployed. I have open availability and reliable transportation! I am looking for something to fulfill me. Some may consider me a helicopter parent! I am a very observant pet sitter. My number one priority is your pets safety. I once pulled a dryer out of a wall to get my sister’s cat out of an apartment building fire, but that’s a story for another day!

About: I’ve been around animals for most of my life and have cared for both dogs and cats. I grew up with pets, including a cat, two small cavapoos, a medium lab-boxer mix, and a large yellow lab, so I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and personalities. I started helping with pet care when I was around 9 and began doing paid pet sitting jobs in high school. I have experience with walking, feeding, drop-in visits, overnight sitting, giving medication, senior pet care, and spending time playing with and comforting pets. I’m patient, gentle, reliable, and detail-oriented, and I always make sure to follow each pet’s routine closely. I also have my own car, which makes it easier for me to be dependable and flexible for walks, check-ins, and house sitting. I’m currently fully flexible and available for pet care in the Olympia/Lacey area, especially around Boston Harbor. I am available most days and times for dog walks and drop-in visits, with the exception of very early mornings. Pet care fits well into my current routine, and I have my own car, so I can be reliable and flexible with visits. I’m mainly hoping to offer dog walking and drop-in visits, but I may be open to house sitting depending on the situation and what your pet needs. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I always make sure to follow each owner’s instructions carefully. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, water, medication, leash rules, crates, gates, and each pet’s normal routine. I will keep dogs leashed outside unless they are in a secure enclosed space or the owner specifically says otherwise. I’m comfortable cleaning up after pets, picking up after walks, and making sure their space is left clean.
