“Danielle did a fantastic job! One of my cat’s takes a long time to warm up to new people, and in a matter of days he was coming downstairs to greet Danielle! I really thought she’d never get to see him. Not only did she feed them but she spent a lot of time cuddling them, which I know they wanted more than food. She was very good about taking out all the cat waste/food waste and cleaning their bowls after each visit. Her update photos were so adorable of my boys too. She was also very consistent on the time of her drop ins, which my cats need for routine of it. I will definitely hire her again to be my go-to sitter when I’m out of town. About: Our dogs have been our best friends for 20 years. We give them the treatment they deserve such as tons of pampering, love and care! We are retirees looking to fill our days and as pet lovers we decided we should share that time and love to other furbabies! We had three beautiful Golden Retrievers, all now in doggie heaven ♡ We currently have a 4 year old, playful, male Goldendoodle, an instant playmate to your furbaby! We have a fenced yard and we live in a quiet neighborhood, close to parks and a lake nearby to take them walking! We are mostly home so we will spend a ton of time with your fur baby may that be on walks, quick trips to nearby parks and lakes (yes car rides!) or simply chilling in our zen garden. They are the boss of us! We care for them like our own and take into consideration what they are used to. Your fur baby's comfort is our priority. They will always have company and will never be left alone.

About: I've been a pet owner my entire life from turtles to rats to cats and dogs, I have experience with caring for a variety of animals. Most recently I worked at a doggy daycare and boarding facility where I gained a lot of experience with handling large dogs, learning animal body language, and feeding and administering medications. My furry guests receive plenty of attention, play, outdoor time, and walks throughout their stay. They are free to be outside, inside, play as much as they want, or lounge around. My dog Checkers is always up for a game of tug-of-war, a chase around the yard, or a group nap. For the convenience of my clients I provide availability every day, daytime, night-time, weekends, and holidays. I have a large fenced yard with lots of open space for running and playing. The yard has plenty of shade as well as areas to sun-bathe. Plenty of water is always available. The house and yard are kept clean and flea-free. Pets have constant supervision, with special attention and monitoring provided if play with other pets is allowed by owner. Due to dietary considerations, and to avoid resource guarding, I feed pets separately, as well as watch them carefully if toys are present. About: I have worked with both puppies and senior dogs, i have 2 poochon puppies that are 1 year old. I am currently going to school to be a vet technician and I volunteer at the animal shelter in the cat and dog rooms. I have experience handling all different types and sizes of dogs. Im a college student and currently working part-time in the late afternoons. So I have plenty of time to walk, play and give potty breaks! I have a fenced yard suitable for small to medium dogs. I have a large room that I can close off that has tile flooring and access to the backyard and also have pens if dogs need to be separated.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
