About: I’ve had or taken care of pets my entire life. I will listen to you and what your pet’s needs are and will ensure that they get the best care. Being in the position of needing pet care myself at times, I know how important it is to be confident in your sitter. I currently work from home a majority of the time. I go into the office just 2 days a month. On the days that I go into work I will come home halfway through the day to check on your pets that I’m watching. Weekends are usually spent taking the dogs for daily outings. I can provide the importance of a 3/4 fenced in yard. I have multiple long cables and leads that can be attached to your dog’s harness if they need a little more assurance of not escaping. I am always willing to take your dog out on a leash if there is a threat of them running off. I love taking my pups out back on the acreage to run around. I have a 6-year old Golden Retreiver that is friendly with all other dogs and I recently lost my 14 year-old Basset Hound.

About: I've been a dog mom for 18 years. My dogs have provided me with companionship, loyalty, joy, structure, and unconditional love over the years. My first dog, Angel, was a Beauceron mix with a blue tongue. She was my best friend, my protector, my shadow. I loved her fiercely. She went over the rainbow bridge three years ago at the age of 14. About a year before she passed, our Kai Ken/Mudi mix, Cody Coyote, joined the family as her companion. This past summer, Corgi pup, Michael, moved in. My son's first official dog. We take regular walks together and they are always making us smile and laugh. I know how special pup companions are and I would love to help you care for yours. Daily walks with my pups are very important for me and for them. I need the movement, and they need to smell. On the weekend, I have more time to walk more pups, check on them, give potty breaks, or feed them. My pups have a fenced in yard and are able to take regular potty breaks every two to four hours. We take walks after I get off work. My pups eat breakfast before I work and eat dinner when my family does. I am available on weekends to give your pup/s potty breaks every two to four hours, up to three walks a day, and feeding in your home.

About: Ever since I can remember I have adored animals. I have always been the person who would go over to a friend's house and end up sitting by their pet the whole time! When I became old enough, I started volunteering at my local animal shelter and pet sitting as much as I could. At the shelter, I walked dogs, spent time playing with cats and kittens, and helped clean kennels and cages. I have also worked at a doggy daycare where I was around both large and small dog breeds. I had a senior dog of nearly 16 years who just passed away due to cancer so I have experience caring for senior dogs all the way to their end of life. I also have a rabbit who has had lots of health issues, so I am condfident with syringe feeding and administering medications. I am currently unemployed, though I do have potential offers in the works, so for now I have full availability! I will update my availability as it changes. Due to having a free roam rabbit, I am unable to offer boarding at this time. However, I will provide any sort of care necessary for your pets in your homes! I am very good at following directions if you have a list for me, but I am also good at just knowing what goes into caring for pets, such as watching for potty cues and noticing when they need mental or physical stimulation.

About: I’ve worked in professional pet care for several months and always have enjoyed it! I recently moved back to Seattle, and am looking to continue working here. My schedule is flexible, so I’m able to be around as much or as little as you and your pet prefer! I will also be able to come around at the most convenient times since my schedule isn’t fixed. I’m very experienced in working with cats, however fickle they may be, and providing whatever they may need. I also have plenty of experience with dogs, both housesitting and dog walking with all types of dogs from the most relaxed elderly dogs to the most excitable pups! About: My golden is my boss, and I love it. I have had dogs my whole life and am finally in a position where I can help other people with their pups. Walking, playing…I can’t wait to meet all your puppers and doggos! I currently work part time so have pretty open availability for walks and playing. I could potentially board but it would have to be a good fit with my pup. I take my dog Simon on 3 walks a day as I live in an apartment. Keeps me active and him happy. About: I was a teacher for 15 years and if I can take care of a class full of 25 ten-year olds, I can definitely take care of pets! I’m an avid hiker and have been lucky to share many trails with amazing “trail dogs” over the years. About: I had a wonderful Husky growing up, He was always bursting with energy and personality, eager to run, explore, and snuggle up next to me whenever the day ended. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
