About: I’ve helped raised 10 dogs: 2 samoyds, 2 golden retrievers, 2 labs, a border collie, a Dobermann, a Bernese mountain dog, and a chihuahua. I also was a door to door and pizza delivery man who Interacted with every type of dog as a stranger entering their territory. I’ve been in multiple threatening positions and have a lot of confidence from that. I can read demeanor very well. My most recent partner and I ended things and she took the dogs. Sad country song in the making lol. I find this therapeutic and isn’t just a side hustle. I genuinely love all dogs and it helps me just as much as helping you. I work from home as an insurance broker. I will shape my schedule around the dogs. I can also work anywhere so it allows me to travel to you as well. I have a fenced back yard with locks on the gate. My office is in the back yard with a big window for me to see them. I am an active dog watcher who goes with the flow of what the owner requests. I do not like leaving them alone ever. If I come to your house I will not have any guests over and I always give active updates.

About: Hi! My name is Cathy, and ever since I was a little kid, I have had a huge fascination and connection with animals, specifically dogs. As a younging I'd spend my free time researching dog breeds for fun, and before I was old enough to work on Rover, I I hung up fliers advertising my own dog walking business. Since I love dogs so much, I have heaps of experience walking and pet sitting all kinds of dogs. From my late large dog, Quiver, a Flat-coated Retriever, to a medium sized Australian Shepard, to a Miniature Schnauzer. I will dedicate 100% of my attention and time to making sure your dog is always happy and healthy! I have years of experience caring for senior dogs. When I heard about my dog’s disease prognosis, I began hand cooking him meals chock full of cancer-fighting vegetables and supplements in addition to his dry food. This included (as seen in my photos) sweet potatoes, red cabbage, broccoli, turmeric, fish oil, mushroom powder, etc. The vet had projected he would only live another 2 months, with my care and the change of his food, he lived and loved over 2 more years! So if your dog has a special diet, do not hesitate to let me know. I am currently a student who mainly works from home so I have plenty of time and a wide open schedule to care for your precious pets. My house is smoke free, pet safe and pet friendly. You can rest assured your companion is safe, cared for and happy with me. I love dogs and dogs love me!

About: I owned three large dogs from 1978 to 2014. I had an Australian shepherd from 1978 to 1996. A black lab from 1984 to 1999. An aussie from 1997 to 2002. A black lab from 2000 to 2014 and and aussie from 2007 to 2014. I moved from Ohio to Seattle in 2014. I found homes for my dogs when I moved here. I have had 3-5 horses since 1978 and still own one. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
