About: I have experience with all types of temperaments and breeds in all phases of life. My approach towards dogs is that they should receive ample stimulation through individualized exercise needs, walks that allow for lots of sniffing, and play time that allows your dog to feel like they accomplished a mission! EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS: senior care, reactive dogs, fearful dogs, service animals, puppy training, grooming, nail trims, administering medications, general training PET SITTING EXPERIENCE - I have pet sit for many friends over the past few years. I have bonded closely with each of them and think of them each as my little friends! I am dedicated to providing timely potty breaks, ample and diverse stimulation, and exercise. I have experience administering medications, grooming, nail trimming, and training. REACTIVE DOGS - I helped train and raise my parents dog, a reactive rescue named Thunder. Through a gentle and persistent approach, I trained him to recall on demand, tamed biting tendencies, and blttust humans again. In his older years I have learned how to encourage eating following a medical event that left him with no appetite. - I also have experience pet sitting a high energy herding dog who needed minimum of a 2 hours of exercise per day an struggled with resource guarding. With patience, I helped train him to share toys and use his inside voice when he demands something! - When living in Cincinnati with my Shiba, we would spend 10+ hours per week at the local dog park. Here I learned de-escalation with aggressive and unpredictable dogs. SERVICE ANIMALS - In college I helped a friend train a Labrador from 8 weeks old to be a Leader Dog for the Blind. I learned how to crate train, potty train, stop at crosswalks, and train a dogs to be in public spaces through the use positive reinforcement and slow immersion of new situations. - My first (and current) dog is a Shiba Inu, a breed notorious for their stubbornness. I trained him like a service animal (although he is not registered) and he regularly goes to public spaces like crowded festivals, dog friendly music venues, and dog friendly businesses and if often complimented for his calm behavior and ability to sit patiently. I am a full time pet sitter who can do visits morning to evening Monday to Sunday. I travel often and only decline clients when I have a trip planned. I will tailor frequency and duration to your pets needs. I am able to provide all of the following: walks, play time, grooming, nail trims, administering medications, special requests, some training.

About: I've grown up with Collie's, cats, ducks, squirrels, hamsters and many other critters. I have a loving spirit for animals. Some times I think they are more thoughtful than people. I'm just hoping to find some good hearted animals to take care of...My mother was an avid rescuer of animals and I got involved through the years and would love to provide someone's dog with the same love and attention that I would like my own animals to receive. I have experience with all types of animals and I'm willing to come to your home and give your animals the same love and attention I give my own animal. I am a little leary of pits and rottweilers so keep that in mind when choosing me to care for your dogs.

About: Although I’m new to Rover, I’ve always been a huge dog lover and have cared for dogs through friends, family, and neighbors over the years. I’ll be moving to Wyoming on October 5 for a short-term job as I prepare for graduate school, and I’ll have a very flexible schedule leading up to that. From September 16 through October 5, I’ll have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I’m happy to work around your dog’s routine and will make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you’re away. I’m available for both weekday and weekend bookings during this time. Your dog’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. About: I have experience caring for not only dogs and cats, but also rabbits and other tiny critters. I worked at a kennel so I have worked with a great variety of dogs, big and small, old and young. I have experience with giving medication as well as bathing and training dogs. Because of my kennel experience, I am not afraid of any size dog, even if they are on the more aggressive and energetic side. I have studied pet behavior and understand where my boundaries are and I will never overstep their boundaries. I want the animals under my care to feel as comfortable with me as possible. I am currently a full-time college student at Grand Valley State, so I am unable to offer full-time services. I am mainly looking for weekend work butt will still accept certain hours during the week. I live in an apartment, so boarding at my home is not an option due to pet limitations. But I am more than willing to care for my clients pets in their home!

About: I offer great service. I’m good with both cats and dogs, I understand pet care and how to properly socialize with them. I’m attentive and patient with the vibrant personalities of any pet! I require that first time clients schedule a video chat with me prior to any services to ensure the safety of your home and your pet. Please do not text me personal phone numbers. I lost my senior yorkie at the start of this year. However, she was very pampered and cared for. Our daily routine is consistent and I monitor her health closely as well as give her plenty of attention and play time. She’s very attached to her home and her family, and very protective, so it’s important that she has lots of love. She’s a cuddler and goes for the mouth with kisses. Her stomach is very sensitive and she has a strict diet. She’s a great companion, however, and a great bugler alarm system as she barks at everything that moves. I understand greatly, the importance of a dog’s preferences and quirks. Nothing your dog could need is ridiculous to me at all. Your home will be greatly respected, and your pets will be my priority. I will keep your pet on their proper schedule and ensure that they don’t get lonely while you’re away! You would set the feeding schedule and I would take them on walks or let them outside accordingly. Of course we will have plenty of playtimes and I will do my best to limit any messes.

About: Rya & I just move to Elkhart in October. Allow me to take care of your four legged friend. Your dog will enjoy running and lounging in the open areas. After plenty of fresh air and outdoor exercise he will enjoy a sleepy snooze on one of the many cozy spots that he will find in a quiet home. Take the stress away from leaving your loving pet and let me take care of him while you are away.I like to do a " meet and greet" to see how the dog gets along with me and my own dogs. I do not have a breed preference. Of course I would like to know if the dog has any health concerns or behaviors I should know about, the dog's. My daily routine is wake up let animals outside. Then feed. Then I take care of myself. Relax, go for a long walk with them or run. I am free most days and weeks. I have 30 acres of fence in yard. I have a horse pasture I made it where the dogs can't get out they also have a indoor area where they can relax in shade. And water 24/7.

About: I am a college student at Grand Valley State University. I am home for the summer, I have grown up with animals my whole life, and I absolutely love them! Pet care fits into my routine by being something I prioritize every day. Since I have five cats and one Beagle, I have responsibilities like feeding them, cleaning litter boxes, walking my dog, and making sure they're healthy and happy. Being a college student has taught me how to balance these responsibilities with classes, studying, and other commitments. I make sure pets are fed on time, have fresh water, get exercise and attention, and have a clean-living space. Since I care for five cats and one Beagle at home, I'm comfortable managing multiple pets and following a daily routine. In a client's home, I would carefully follow their care instructions, keep the pets comfortable, and treat both their pets and home with respect.

About: I will love and care for your furry friends as I do my own. I've owned dogs my whole life and my family would say it's a passion I've never fulfilled (but will be thanks to rover!) I've owned all size breeds so teacup or a small horse, I've got you covered! I am a Navy Veteran and current full-time student at the University of Michigan and my husband works from home 100% of the time. Your pups will never be left unsupervised. We have two other dogs in the home who love having guests and making new friends. Feedings can take place whenever you deem necessary for you! We have a ton of treats (SCHNACKS) ready to spoil and pamper your puppers as we do our own. I live on 7 acres of land in a private community, and have approximately 1 acre of fenced in yard directly off the back of the house. Your friends will be able to take plenty of potty breaks and nice tranquil walks in the "countryside". They will be kenneled at night (around 11p.m.) in a dark, empty room in a padded kennel. (I know it sounds depressing but is actually super relaxing for doggos!). Doggie bath services are also negotiable.

About: While I'm more used to cats, I do also love dogs. Have a dog with separation anxiety? I can keep them company for a while! I will be working part-time Monday-Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm during the school year (September-Early June). I will be available to watch your pets from 9:30 am-1:30 pm on those days (despite what options this site gave). If I am unable to watch a pet at any time, I will let you know ahead of time by at least a few days. I owned a cat, Higgins, who was a big lovebug and fairly food motivated. I was in charge of feeding him breakfast and dinner since we rescued him in 2015, along with scooping his litterbox. He also needed nightly medication for some stomach issues, so I have experience giving pills. I can feed your pet, clean up after them whether they have a set schedule or not, and provide medication if necessary.

About: I currently have 4 dogs and 1 cat of my own and love helping care for other animals. I have experience with high energy dogs, as well as senior cats and dogs. I am now a young 40 something mom and professional who has had pets my entire life! I LOVE animals! I am typically available to provide care in the evenings and weekends, sometimes at lunchtime depending on location, and for extended vacation stays. About: Im not your normal dog sitter i don't only just care there my family and I am reliable, trustworthy, and caring. ill treat your fur baby or fur babies all kind of dogs just like my family. I had 4 dogs and watched friends and family friends dog since i was 14 It fits in my daily routine for me to help other people and take care of there dogs. I have a husky of my own so I understand sometimes you need help with watching your fur baby If your fur baby likes to play I can play with it or i have a husky that loves to run and play and can keep your fur baby company and get its energy out.
