About: I have owned two dogs as pets. One lived to be 17. My dogs I have owned were both spunkie and lots of fun! I also worked in Illinois for a local dog walking/sitter company. I would walk my dogs for 20 I do walks in all kinds of weather. I had 2-4 dogs a week. Frankie a male dog and Ginger an older arthritic dog; they were my regulars. I would end every visit with petting and a treat. I really love my dogs and took very good care of them. Every visit ends with a text to the owner including a cute photo and information on whether the dog peed and pooped. I also volunteer at the Huron Velley Humane Society. My son has had all kinds of animals so if you have a bearded dragon or hamster I am familiar with many different pets. I love the flexibility. I enjoy getting outdoors and I love animals. This is a great combo for me. I’m recently stopped working this will a great way to fill my days. My dog gets a lot of love. I believe the best part of dogs is they are simple they just need attention and love. The last two dogs I had I gave lots of petting and hugs. Dogs also need stimulation whether it be playing fetch or using a Kong or some other activity an owner may have I like to incorporate that into my visit.

About: I’ve devoted my life to animals and taking care of them. I have prior experience in the veterinary field, doggy day cares, and have fostered many dogs over the years for various nonprofits. We live on a small farm and have chickens, quail, cats, rabbits, and kunekune pigs. We also have two dogs. Sylvia is a 12 year old Pit Bull terrier (who is a sweet and lovely advocate for the breed) and Aquila our fun loving 3 year old Icelandic sheepdog. Aquila and I compete in dog sports in our free time. I consider myself especially comfortable with nervous or fearful dogs. I’m currently a stay at home mom and my husband works from home as well, which allows me to have free time throughout the day to accommodate time slots for pet care. As far as boarding goes, one of us is almost always home. While we do not have a fenced yard, we use a long lead that provides lots of room for your dog to play but still be securely attached to me. Our 3 acres allows for walks in the woods and lots of sniffs around our farm animals. We only board one client at a time in our home because quality over quantity is very important to us. If you have a puppy you can expect any training to be ongoing with us and if desired, we can also do extra socialization and outings. Our two children, while very neutral and hands off, are excellent with dogs and are a great positive experience for puppies.

About: Ive been taking care of dogs my whole life. We actually had Beagle puppies born in our bathroom 13 years ago. I've raised 5 dogs all together. We have 1 left. He's our baby. I will love your dog like my own. I will take care of them like you do. I'm not working so I have plenty of time to walk, play and love on your pet! I am available most weekends and holidays as well. I have a fenced area in my yard, a doggie door and a very friendly senior dog. He's a little loud sometimes, since he's a Beagle but it's all love. Your fur baby will be super happy here. If you prefer I come to you that is perfectly fine too. I will make sure your pet is happy when I leave!

My approach towards dogs is that they should receive ample stimulation through individualized exercise needs, walks that allow for lots of sniffing, and play time that allows your dog to feel like they accomplished a mission! In his older years I have learned how to encourage eating following a medical event that left him with no appetite. - I also have experience pet sitting a high energy herding dog who needed minimum of a 2 hours of exercise per day an struggled with resource guarding. With patience, I helped train him to share toys and use his inside voice when he demands something! - When living in Cincinnati with my Shiba, we would spend 10+ hours per week at the local dog park. Here I learned de-escalation with aggressive and unpredictable dogs. SERVICE ANIMALS - In college I helped a friend train a Labrador from 8 weeks old to be a Leader Dog for the Blind. I learned how to crate train, potty train, stop at crosswalks, and train a dogs to be in public spaces through the use positive reinforcement and slow immersion of new situations. - My first (and current) dog is a Shiba Inu, a breed notorious for their stubbornness. I trained him like a service animal (although he is not registered) and he regularly goes to public spaces like crowded festivals, dog friendly music venues, and dog friendly businesses and if often complimented for his calm behavior and ability to sit patiently. I am a full time pet sitter who can do visits morning to evening Monday to Sunday. I travel often and only decline clients when I have a trip planned. I will tailor frequency and duration to your pets needs. I am able to provide all of the following: walks, play time, grooming, nail trims, administering medications, special requests, some training.

About: My whole life I have had dogs. When I was little a yellow lab, and now a very large charcoal lab, his name is Finn in my profile picture, he’s my best bud. Also added another furry friend to our mix, a red golden retriever, her name is Sadie. I also have four cats, one big orange tabby, a calico, and two black cats. My heart is full of love for animals and I would treat yours like my own. I dog sit for my grandparents as well, and friends as needed. I had the honor of helping train my grandmas dog and Finn as well. Simple things like learning to sit and stay but still important! I am currently home for the summer from college. I attend Ferris State and will return in the fall. So, I am just looking for a part time gig for the summer! Besides one vacation in June I am completely free for all potty breaks, walks, etc during the week. I have two dogs at home if a stay at my home is needed, I have leads available for use as well. We also have a fairly large crate used for our golden when she was a puppy, so your pet can be crated if necessary! My pups are very friendly and would love the extra company! I also have no problem staying at a clients home if that makes things easier! I have reliable transportation and have an SUV to take the pups to the park or anything like that! I often take my dogs with me to the store when I can and sometimes stop for a pup cup.
