“David is fantastic! We had a last-minute dog sitter cancelation and wow did David come to the rescue. Our two dogs, one 6-month-old puppy and one super anxious 2-year-old spent the entire day over at David's, and honestly...I have never seen them happier from a doggy daycare pick-up! And we have done quite a few Rovers/daycares. The pups immediately loved David and his huge backyard. David was super responsive, asked for and delivered on our care instructions, and just provided an overall great booking/sitting experience. He will for sure be our go-to dog sitter from here on out!”

“Bryan was great with my two dogs! We used Bryan for our English Mastiff and Boston Terrier, and he provided frequent updates, pictures, and prompt responses. I felt at ease, and my dogs appeared to be happy and content when we picked them up! We will definitely use him again if the services are needed! Thank you, Bryan!”

“Anitra was so quick to respond! She would send me pup updates throughout the day. Seeing Sydney in a calm and loving place made my day easier knowing she was well taken care of and it was plus seeing the dog park right next to her home! Would highly recommended!!”

About: I've had pets my entire life and I've always been an animal lover! I have approximately 5 years of experience as a pet sitter and can provide excellent references. I've cared for dogs, cats, and unusual pets (exotic birds, chickens, goats, etc.). My services include walks, pet sitting, boarding, and overnight pet sitting. I am able to provide feedings, administer medications, exercise your pet according to his/her specific needs, and I will keep you updated with a summary and photos of my visits via text, email, or even video promptly after each visit. During pet sitting/overnight visits, I am able to help with watering plants, getting mail, transporting pets to appointments, or other chores upon request. They will also be petted and cuddled to their heart's content. Your pet's safety and happiness are my ultimate priority at all times. I am available most days of the week, just ask! I'm currently working part-time from home so I will have lots of availability to care for your fur baby/babies! My schedule can be flexible according to client's needs. I live very close to a walking trail and I'm dowtown so I can take the for walks in a variety of settings. There are also plenty of dog parks nearby that we can visit! At home, I have lots of toys and treats to entertain! My dog is the friendliest dog that you will ever meet and my cat prefers to keep to himself but I am happy to crate or separate the pets if preferred! At client's homes, I will follow pet's routines and ensure that they are always safe and happy.

About: **PLEASE RESPOND IN TIMELY MANNER AFTER RECEIVE REPLY TO REQUEST. GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. 🙏🏾** I've taken care of family and friends' dogs since 2010, starting in Charlotte, NC. Longest I've kept one dog is for 2 weeks. I love taking care of dogs as if they were my own. Currently live in Durham, NC in my childhood home. I work from home, so I'm the perfect sitter that can entertain your dog while you're at work, away on vacay/trip, or just need some me time. I am a patient person and do have experience training a couple of dogs from not fearing their crate, knowing boundaries within house, and cease whining. I work from home Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 pm. I occasionally have appts and other events on the weekends, including attending church worship service. I'm at home the majority of the time. I have a pretty open concept in my house, but I close off doors to bedrooms and bathroom. I sometimes close off my hallway to keep in a secluded place in case of visitors or go to sleep at night. I take dogs out on leash, I currently do not have a fenced yard. I spend quality time with them and engage often and show plenty of love.

About: Hi there! I definitely prefer my furry friends, but am a social, fun loving guy, and can train most humans to join me on my quest for adventure. I have been owned by several dogs over the years and a few cats, fish, ducks, geese, snakes, and bearded dragons. I’m a school teacher, and enjoy working with kids, and enjoy spending time with my furry friends on weekends and can be of service for you through the weeknights, weekends, and holidays. Although my schedule is a little less flexible during the school year, I can usually work things out to make you feel comfortable. Please contact me soon, and schedule a free meet and greet, and let’s get started on what works best for your furry kids.

“Teri was AMAZING! My dog Delilah is always super anxious around sitters, but she settled in very quickly with Teri. Teri was sweet, loving, kind, and gentle with my baby girl. Definitely a good pick!”

About: I have been doing this for over a year now and I really enjoy it. I initially started doing it to socialize my pup but now I just do it cause I love dogs. I also have trained my puppy with a puppy book called The Focused Puppy and she has become a very well trained dog. Will help train yours too if interested. I work from home and have a large, fully fenced in backyard. I take my pup out there to play and potty every hour or so, as well as walks in the neighborhood. My neighborhood also has great dog parks walking distance to me that we love to go to. Feed them whenever they are supposed to eat, take them outside in the backyard often, long walks (I am very active) I also have tons of toys and treats :)

About: I've had dogs for my entire adult life. I love all kinds from the tiniest furballs to the biggest drool monsters. My home is very accessible for older dogs (only one stair going in and out of the house) with a fenced in back yard. I have plenty of beds and toys for your dog to play with. Our furniture is covered with waterproof blankets so they are allowed on. I also have experience with administering medicine (wrapping in cheese is my go-to). I work from home so I am available all the time to play with your dog and let them out when needed. If we do go out, we be sure to leave the radio on for the dogs so they aren't lonely but most of the time there is at least one person here. I have a fenced in yard with a screen porch and doggie door. I also have a standalone fence play area that can be moved around if your dog is too small for the fenced yard. There is another dog here but she is very friendly and submissive. She recently lost her sister and would love some company.

“Tracy took such great care of our 11 week old puppy! He seemed to have a great time with her. Really appreciate the text and photo updates throughout the day. Would definitely book with Tracy again (she has a degree in Animal Science and previously worked at a vet)! 12/10 recommend!”

“Camila and Lino were great sitters. Great backyard for playtime that wore out my dog. Were very responsive to coordinate pick up/drop off times. Would highly recommend.”

About: ✨New to the Raleigh-Durham area✨ Through dogs and cats I've learned that love can be simple, without being casual. 🐱🐶 I have experience running and walking dogs, overnight stays, caring for dogs and cats in need of medicine or special care, potty-training dogs, senior dogs and more. If you're looking for an energetic, genuine, animal-loving pet sitter, I'm your gal. It's through our family dog, who has passed, that I learned just how incredible the bond between pets and (wo)men can be. Our silly, stubborn and forever-hungry pup taught us to never take life too seriously, find beauty in the weeds and that a good snuggle or nap can cure any bad day. 💕 Give me the honor of caring for your dog or cat and I promise to treat fido as my own. In my house I have a Maine Coon cat, Griffin who lives up to the name “gentle giant.” 🦁 I’m also married to an animal-loving guy who pitches in sometimes :) Curious about my prices? To break it down 👉🏼 Rover takes a 20% service fee and taxes are over 30% of earnings. I work part time and from home so I have ample time and availability to take care of your pet. I can work around your schedule. ⏰ My husband also only goes in twice a week so he’s around a lot, too. I have a clean, safe and warm apartment with an animal friendly Maine Coon. My building is app secure and I am almost always home. I have cat toys such as a tube and castle. I do have a nice dog run and lots of grass in the building and a dog wash, if you’d like to come back to a clean pup 🛁 🐩

About: Hi!! Thanks for considering me :) I love animals. I grew up with cats and dogs all my life. I also obtained a certification through paws4people as an Assistant Dog Handler in 2019. I have 2+ years experience working with and training service dogs in undergrad. I have a German Shepard husky female that gets along with dogs great as well as 3 cats. I’m sure your dog and/or and I will make an instant bond. Feel free to contact me anytime. I will answer. If you want to meet me in a public space or video chat before you book me for services I am happy to do so! I am home throughout the week and weekend. I am able to have your pets at my house or I can travel to yours if it’s a reasonable distance. If I stay at your house to take care of your pet I am a very respectful guest and I will clean up after myself and the animal.
