About: I have loved animals my entire life. I currently have 8 dogs and 2 cats of my own and foster frequently. I volunteer yearly at an animal sanctuary in UT. I transport dogs and cats for rescues. I have participated in many dog/puppy training classes and would continue any training programs for you while your baby is in my care. I will dispense medications and follow any medical instructions necessary. I am currently retired and love to hike and walk. I have an open schedule in the mornings and afternoons 7 days a week to care for your fur babies. I’m sure they would love to join me on a walk or hike. I have 8 dog friendly dogs that romp at my 7 acre property. My home is often referred to by friends as “Fran’s Dog Park” as visiting dogs are always welcomed. My two cats have learned to tolerate the dog infestation

About: My husband and I recently returned from Costa Rica where we volunteered on a dog farm assisting with bathing, grooming and giving lots of love to almost 2,000 rescued dogs that live there. My husband also has a separate rover account under Maxi S. During my high school/college years my mother trained 5 different dogs for guiding eyes for the blind which I helped in the training process as well while home. I also started housesitting and caring for pets of local neighbors at the young age of 10. We have always had dogs in my home. I couldn’t imagine living without a dog. I have experience with dogs of all ages, puppies to senior dogs. I myself have a 9 year old cocker spaniel who thinks she is a human. I understand all pet owners and their pets have different needs and will respect any rules required to give your pet the care they need. I will treat your dog like my own. My family just returned from Costa Rica. My husband and I are both looking for flexible part time work which allow us to still care for our 1.5 year old son. You can also find my husbands separate rover account under maxi S. At the moment our schedule is open and flexible but as we find work our schedules will be changing depending. We have a good sized yard which is not fenced in but in a quiet neighborhood with a cul-de-sac. I don’t usually crate my dog, but if your dogs are crated I am familiar with crate training. I am a flexible person and am able to modify based on your pets needs.

About: I’ve grown up as a daughter of an Animal Control Officer and taken care of pets for all of my life. I am happy to provide love and care to any pet that comes my way:) I’m am working part time as a gas-attendant at a marina…I just need a little bit of a heads up and then I can set time aside for you. Sometimes I have petsitted for clients who like crating their pets while others like fencing a yard and leaving them outside. I am able to do anything the client needs.

“I booked Katherine last minutes for a few days and she was wonderful! So good with my dog, Lulu! Took the time to get to know her and asked a lot of questions. Her maturity and attention to details was amazing! I will definitely be booking her again soon!”

About: What sets me apart from other dog sitters is my hands-on experience and deep understanding of canine care. I’ve worked in a professional kennel, which gave me valuable insight into dog behavior, health, and daily routines. At home, I care for my own large German Shepherd, so I’m comfortable handling big, high-energy breeds. I’ve also regularly watched my sister’s dog and other dogs, both short-term and for extended stays, so I know how to create a safe, comfortable environment that feels like home. My combination of professional and personal experience means your dog will be treated like family—with structure, love, and attention tailored to their needs. After working with animals and having my own dog I wanted to incorporate that into my life, so I have plenty of time to hang out and take care of your puppies. I am available throughout the day and would love to spend time with your loved ones! I have a very friendly German shepherd at home, who you are more than welcome to meet, and I walk him multiple times throughout the day and your dog will be able to join us. I also have a crate if you want your dog to be in the crate I also have the ability to do that.

About: I have a depth and variety of experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve worked at a doggy daycare, where I handled multiple dogs at once in group settings, giving me valuable experience with a wide range of breeds and personalities. I’m very familiar with reading canine body language and making sure play stays safe and respectful. I’ve also cared for both puppies and senior dogs, so I’m comfortable adjusting my care to their unique needs—whether it’s helping with early training for a new pup or making sure an older dog is comfortable and supported throughout the day. On top of that, I’ve owned and cared for dogs my entire life, which has taught me to be attentive, patient, and genuinely connected to each dog I spend time with. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. My schedule is currently very flexible and accommodating, which allows me to take on regular walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting as needed. I truly enjoy spending my time with your furry friends, so fitting pet care into my day feels natural and fulfilling, whether it’s a quick walk or an overnight stay. I only offer care in my client’s home, and I always do my best to make sure your pet feels comfortable and safe in their familiar environment. I pay close attention to their behavior, routines, and any specific needs they may have. Whether it’s feedings, walks, playtime, or medications, I follow your instructions carefully and treat your pet and home with the utmost respect and care.

About: Hello! My name is Sam and dogs have been my passion for as long as I can remember. I have been pet sitting since I was a teenager, and have always had a hand in caring for my family's pets. Within the last year I have had the opportunity to help whelp two litters of Bernese Mountain Dog puppies and it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I love getting to know new dogs and cats, and have been known to leave my table at a restaurant to pet a dog I see through the window. I am the person at the party seeking out the pets so I can talk to them, rather than talk to the humans! I attend obedience classes with my own dogs weekly, and will be attending handling classes soon as well. Nothing brightens my day like being greeted by a dog, and getting to take care of them. We currently have three dogs and three cats in our home. Nothing is more important to me than your animal's comfort and safety.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats my whole life typically at least 2 dogs and 2 cats at one time. I am a natural animal lover and caretaker. I trained corgis for almost 10 years. I now have two cats and a dog of my own. I usually pet sit for friends or for my parents who have 3 dogs, 3 cats including a senior dog. I've established my own clients weekly and on an as needed basis. I am open to all types of pets and needs. I work from home so I am pretty flexible during the week with my days. I will always take my work schedule into account before accepting anything. If in need of dog boarding, your dog would have to listen well to be in our unfenced yard (i would leash or put them on the long line) and they would have to be ok with cats. If I were to go to your home, I understand this is a super personal space and a bit nerve wracking having someone there, trust me I feel the same when I have someone take care of my pets! I will treat your space with respect and make sure to follow your instructions.

“I was so grateful to find Allie and can’t wait to use her in the future. I don’t have animals but my parents and in laws do who we watch often. It was so nice to have peace of mind while I’m at work that they were taken care of. Allie came over to do a meet and greet before hand and the dogs immediately felt comfortable and loved her. She is responsible, caring, and a total animal lover. I can’t wait to use her in the future and will definitely recommend her to everyone I know!”

“Duck had a wonderful walk with Adriana! I was very pleased and loved the pictures from the update. Adriana was very communicative and attentive. Highly recommend!”

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was born with my first Golden Retriever “Missy”. My family has had a wide variety of animals from dogs and cats, to hamsters and bunnies, all the way to horses. I am often called on by my fiends to pet sit as I am known as the friend with a surplus of pets. I currently have a small dog named Munchie with many different health problems such as anxiety and epilepsy which gives me experience in caring for dogs with specific needs. I also currently have a large dog who is a Shepard, Boxer mix named Leo who gives me experience in caring for large dogs and their active and rambunctious needs. Along with my two dogs I have four cats who give me experience in the joy of caring for cats. As a pet owner I know the struggle of finding a good and trustworthy pet sitter. That is why I want to be able to be that pet sitter that will allow you to enjoy your vacation or go to work with the peace of mind knowing your pet is being taken care of. I am currently a student at Marist College in Poughkeepsie. Due to my class schedule I have blocks of time in which I am not in class or doing homework that I would love to be able to fill with hanging out with dogs:) Due to the fact that I am a college student I do not have the home environment to be able to care for your dog at my house. But I will give them the love and attention they need during my drop-in visits with lots of pets, playtime, walks and treats!

“Matt is great with dogs! Bruno can be challenging with new people (testing limits to see how much he can get away with) but Matt knew exactly how to handle him when he took him for walks. He arrives right on time and I appreciate how communicative he is. I am so glad we found Matt and since he lives so close to us, he became our go-to dogsitter!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Jenni and the love she has for animals. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like family, look no further. Jenni has a natural gift when it comes to connecting with animals — it’s something you notice instantly. She is incredibly attentive, compassionate, and always goes the extra mile to make sure every animal in her care feels safe, loved, and happy. What sets Jenni apart is her genuine passion. She has a German Shepherd of her own who is not only well-behaved but clearly adored. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just giving a pet some extra attention, Jenni is fully present and engaged. Her home is warm and welcoming, a true safe haven for any pet. She is the kind of person who brings out the best in everyone, two-legged or four. If you have the chance to have Jenni care for your animal, take it. You won’t find anyone better.”

Binti D.
“Binti has known and loved every pet I’ve ever owned, both cats and dogs. (And one duck) I’m pretty sure my pets liked her more than me. I can’t recommend her highly enough. Animals just seem to be drawn to her and visa versa. She’s a trustworthy gem.”

Samantha S.

“Samantha is the most responsible person I've ever met. We've been friends for over 10 years and she's the first person I would call, and still call, whenever I need someone reliable, dependable, and empathetic to care for my animals. She's well trained in the medical field, has expensive experience in handling animals, and is a pleasure to work with. We've also worked together in an office setting and she always treated everyone with the utmost professionalism. Samantha has my highest recommendation and will certainly treat anyone's animals she cares for just like her own (note: her own are super spoiled, loved, and well cared for!).”

Samantha O.

“Samantha was very prompt and thorough with her communication. She was great with our dog and gave updates when she arrived and provided a picture too!”

Carley V.
“Carley Van Buiten is one of the most conscientious girls I know. She takes every job she’s given very seriously. On top of that she has kind and loving heart Her empathy abounds and she is understanding to what others need especially her furry friends. She has two dogs and four cats and is an Intercal part of caring for them. She’s responsible for feeding them, cleaning up after them, playing with them and giving them attention. She has an especially good relationship with her larger dog who has become very attached to her and she to him. Sometimes I think she knows what he is thinking. I would highly recommend Carley for dog sitting.”

Abbey B.
“I cannot recommend Abbey highly enough! From the moment we met, it was clear she genuinely cares for animals and takes her responsibilities seriously. She was incredibly attentive to my dog’s needs, consistently going above and beyond to ensure he was not only well cared for, but truly happy and comfortable in her presence. Abbey took the time to learn about his routines, preferences, and quirks, and followed every instruction to the letter—while also using her own intuition and experience to enhance his care. She kept me updated with regular messages and adorable photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Most impressively, she handled everything with such calm professionalism and kindness. Whether it was taking an extra-long walk when my pup was full of energy or adjusting his feeding schedule to help with a minor stomach upset, Abbey was always proactive, thoughtful, and incredibly caring. It’s rare to find someone so dependable and loving—Abbey is a true gem, and I feel incredibly lucky to have found her.
