There were numerous photos which made us feel confident in her care. Great setting with a large yard and only other pet was their cat. Our spaniel does not always grt along with other dogs. Well done! Will viait again:)”

And her son is adorable and loves dogs:) It was a last minute booking but Mary Jo was extremely accommodating in setting up a meet and greet and then hosting my dog in her home for 4 nights I could tell from her messages that Texas, my dog, felt right at home. He was spunky and ate all his dinners. I would highly recommend Mary Jo”

“Alexandra J. was an exceptional boarder for my very active Boxer Ghost. She was responsive to inquiries and booking, was flexible with scheduling and with accommodating Ghost's specific food requirements. Very importantly her dogs and other boarders provided my very active girl with plenty of exercise. And also importantly, she sent photos and videos of Ghost over the week that I was gone. I would recommend her highly. Judy”

We have 3 young kids who love to play and one energetic 4 year old dog who also loves to play, so your pet would get a lot of play time at this house! I have lots of availability this summer, so reach out to me for specifics. Once fall hits and I’m back at school, I’ll be available for weekends. We have one friendly dog to keep yours company. “Absolutely pleased with Rolf’s care. From pictures we could see he was a happy dog. And he got to play outside in a child’s pool and a hosing! His favorite activity. He really didn’t want to come home!”

“My pup has had separation anxiety in the past, however, not with Shannon & her family! She was happy, well taken care of, and tired coming home to us. Thank you, Shannon!”

“Our first encounter with Karen was very calm and she was super sweet. Remi warmed up to her almost immediately. It was a last minute booking and she was able to accommodate a meetup before the actual boarding which I appreciated. She kept us updated with photo and videos of Remi throughout the day. That alone gave me a peace of mind. Overall very pleased and would love to rebook again in the future.”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
