About: I have taken care of many animals, I have pet sat in homes that have 1 dog up to 5 dogs and other farm animals. I will treat every animal like they are my own, and give them all the love and care they need! I am a teacher who is off for summer break so I will be home every day, I do leave the house but for now longer than 3 hours at a time as we have our own dog. I have had experience in many different homes caring for animals. We have a fenced yard and when your animal is here they will be supervised at all times or in their crate to keep them safe.

About: I love all animals! I have volunteered at many pet rescues, fostered animals, worked as a grooming salon manager for a year, and currently own a 10 year old Heeler, 3 year old Belgian Malinois and a 2 year old cat. I love training my own dogs and providing them with lot’s of exercise and enrichment! I work from home on weekdays from 9 to 5, giving me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. Whether you need a quick check-in or a midday dog walk, I’m here to ensure your furry friends are well taken care of. I have a lot of experience with dogs being nervous or shy. My Cattle Dog is reactive on leash so I am used to using treats on walks to keep him focused and redirect his stress. I am able to read the signs your dog is giving and accommodate to their needs! I also have a blind Belgian Malinois so I can accommodate dogs with special needs. My main priority with my own pets is making sure I fulfill their needs in terms of activity and mental enrichment so I would do the same for your pet!

I’ve taken care of many different pets of all shapes, sizes, ages and temperaments. As a pet mom myself I understand the importance and worry of leaving my fur baby behind while I’m away. I will always send extra pictures and take extra precautions and time to make sure your fur babies feel safe and loved while you’re away! I provide a safe, comfortable, and fun environment, ensuring they get plenty of attention and enrichment. With a few years of experience caring for dogs and cats, I'm dedicated to giving your pets the best possible care while you're away. Let's chat about how I can make your pet's stay a happy one! I care for my own cat as if she is my child. All the pets I watch (including my own) get fed right on time on schedule, I give them extra attention and pets, if they like toys I make sure to spend a while playing with them to make sure they don’t get bored and they stay happy and entertained!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and personalities since I was 13 years old. Over the years, I’ve provided dependable daytime, evening, and overnight care in clients’ homes, including dog walks, feeding and meal routines, fresh water, litter box cleaning, basic training reinforcement, playtime, and plenty of cuddles and companionship. I’m also a pet owner myself, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets and your home. I’m comfortable administering oral and topical medications and always follow care instructions closely to keep pets safe, happy, and stress-free while their owners are away. I currently work part-time, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and dedicate quality time to the pets I care for. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and personality so they feel comfortable and well cared for while you’re gone. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive care in a clean and safe environment while treating your pets and home with the same respect I would want for my own. I prioritize clear communication, regular updates, and making sure all of your pet’s needs are fully met, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. I look forward to caring for your pets and being a dependable sitter you can trust. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I work part-time, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and dedicate focused time to caring for pets throughout the day. I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and overnight care while prioritizing consistency, reliability, and each pet’s routine. I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and calm environments when caring for pets. I follow each pet’s routine closely, provide supervision, secure doors and gates, and maintain a tidy space. In clients’ homes, I respect their space, follow instructions carefully, and ensure pets are comfortable and secure at all times.

About: Animals have been the heartbeat of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a ranch, I learned early on that caring for animals is a 24/7 commitment that requires patience, hard work, and a sharp eye for detail. From chickens and bunnies to cats and dogs—and even more unique pets like ferrets and birds—I was raised with the understanding that every animal has its own personality and specific needs. My parents gave me my first dog when I was 1, she was best friend till she passed away when I was 17 years old. I learned at a very young age how to care for dogs and all the responsibilities that go along with them. She was by my side, even when she passed. I have owned several more through my adult life and currently have 2 senior pups that have been with us since Itty bitty babies. As an animal mom myself, I know exactly how hard it is to head out on vacation. Leaving your fur babies behind and worrying about the level of care they are receiving can be incredibly stressful. Because I understand that bond, I promise that any pet in my care will receive the exact same level of love, attention, and high-standard care that I expect for my own. My goal is to give you total peace of mind; I’m here to make sure your pet’s routine is followed perfectly and their day is a little brighter while you’re away. My husband owns his own business and I am currently taking classes online at home on my own time to get my bachelors degree in accounting so rover fits my schedule perfectly and lets me do something I love. How perfect is that! Care in Your Home (Drop-ins & House Sitting) "When I care for your pets in your home, my priority is maintaining their sense of security and routine. I understand that a disruption in their environment can be stressful, so I focus on the details that matter: I stick strictly to your feeding, exercise, and medication schedules. Whether it’s a high-energy game of fetch or quiet snuggles for a senior pet, I’m there to provide genuine companionship, not just a quick visit. Care in My Home (Boarding & Daycare) "I treat every pet in my home like a member of my own family. My space is a 'pawsitive' environment where your fur baby can feel relaxed and loved while you’re away. Pets are never left unattended and have constant access to fresh water, cozy resting spots, a fenced in back yard, and plenty of affection. Can also crate if needed. Because I’m an 'animal mom,' I know that some pets need extra reassurance. I provide a calm, organized space where they can settle in quickly. Drawing on my years of experience growing up on a ranch, I am highly observant of animal behavior and health. I keep a close eye on their appetite, energy levels, and overall well being. You’ll receive regular photos and updates so you can see exactly how much fun your pet is having, letting you enjoy your time away worry-free."

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
