About: I have taken care of animals my whole life, starting on my small farm where as a kid I helped care for farm animals and lots & lots of dogs and cats. I love every animal I meet, even when they don’t like me. I have been taking care of my dog for ten years, with another senior dog for the past three years. I also had a senior cat for the past few years and took care of her while she was sick until she ultimately died, we miss her tons in my house ❤️‍🩹 I’ve never met a pet I didn’t like! I am currently a student doing online work, so I’m pretty flexible and have pretty open availability! I’m not always available, but I am often and my availability is flexible enough to accommodate you. I do drop ins to care for your pet in your home and walks. I am a very tidy and clean person and do my best to not leave a mark in the places I go. I’ll always make sure to honor your requests and leave your space as clean as it was or cleaner than when I found it! I also am good with pets because I’m patient and able to respect boundaries with less trusting pets.

About: I have raised dogs my entire life. In highschool my lab had a litter of 15 chocolate chips that were bottle fed every two hours. In college and into adulthood I rescued a small mix breed who travelled the country with me and stayed with me well into parenthood. She recently crossed the rainbow bridge. Now our family guardian is a Saint Bernard who loves nothing more than watching her tailless brothers playing in the back yard. We are used to all different sizes of fur babies around our house! I am a stay at home mom and I homeschool my boys, so I am available most of the time! I like to get out of the house to play at the parks, or bike the river belt, but I am never away from home long. I have a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood, great for walking around. I have a Saint Bernard sized cage if needed, or you can bring your own if you want. I have two young boys (7&11)who love to give belly rubs and throw balls, and a female Saint Bernard to keep your baby company.

Brooke walked our babies on a nice long walk while we were tubing out of town. And fed them dinner for us, snuggled them, and played with them. Thank you! We had peace of mind the entire time.

About: I have watched dogs of all ages from puppies to a 10 year old. Even though I don't have any formal training I can teach commands and potty training. I work part time in the evenings when my husband is home. I do leave during the day at times for 2 hours at the most for appointments for my kids. I love to stay busy and can help as many hours as you need. I live in an apartment but I do have 4 dogs, 3 cats and a gecko. My pets are a little rowdy at times but they all get along well even the cats.

About: I have been around animals my entire life. I have had mostly dogs. My kids are also very animal oriented. I have cared for praying mantis, hermit crabs, tortoises, cocktail, hamsters, cats, dogs, bunny. These are most of the pets I have cared for. Walking them, helping groom them feeding them and spending time with them. I have trained both my cat and my dog many commands. They both know sit, speak, the dog knows shake and can switch, the cat is learning. I just enjoy being around animals. If I could I would have many more, but that is why I am here, so I can visit with other animals. I am currently not working and just enjoy spreading time with my older kids and my pets. I have time on my hands and want to be with animals so I am doing this and lining into volunteer opportunities with the local shelters Right now because I have pets at home I would be willing to come to your home and take care of your animals. When my husband is home i would be willing to do overnights if needed

About: I'm responsible and love animals. Cats and dogs of all kinds. I grew up with big dogs and a cat & I have small dogs now. My dogs have been puppies and grew to senior dogs so I am able to care for all ages. I am skilled in administrating meds and insulin shots. I still visit and care for my parents Collie as well. My animals go with us almost everywhere but I know sometimes they can't go and it's important to have someone to love on them when you are away. I'll do that! I'm embarking on a new adventure. I have been working as a professional for over 30 years and recently left to em"bark" 😆 on something more fulfilling. So my schedule is pretty flexible and open as this will be a primary responsibility behind helping transport my kiddo to school & work. Security, safety and the health of your fur baby will be my first priority always. I am a reliable and trustworthy person. If I say I'm going to do something, I will do it.

About: Happy pets, happy life! I offer a loving home, fun playtime, and walks in Idaho Falls and the surrounding areas. I’ve taken care of many different pets of all shapes, sizes, ages and temperaments. As a pet mom myself I understand the importance and worry of leaving my fur baby behind while I’m away. I will always send extra pictures and take extra precautions and time to make sure your fur babies feel safe and loved while you’re away! I provide a safe, comfortable, and fun environment, ensuring they get plenty of attention and enrichment. With a few years of experience caring for dogs and cats, I'm dedicated to giving your pets the best possible care while you're away. Let's chat about how I can make your pet's stay a happy one! I work at the airport part time, but the hours differ. I am available most of the time, and if I’m at work I can still stop by after work or on my breaks or stay overnight to take care of the pet(s). Same goes if they’re boarding at my house, they will be well taken care of. I care for my own cat as if she is my child. All the pets I watch (including my own) get fed right on time on schedule, I give them extra attention and pets, if they like toys I make sure to spend a while playing with them to make sure they don’t get bored and they stay happy and entertained!

About: My husband and I love dogs. We are retired, and can spend time loving, playing, and walking with your dogs. We have a dog named Soren who is almost a year old. He gets along well with other dogs. He weighs 75 lbs. and plays regularly with our son's and his wife's Yorkie poo and toy poodle. We have experience watching and boarding them. Soren has also had successful experience with other dogs when our other son was dogsitting with him. In addition, we will only be watching dogs from one family at a time, to make sure the dogs get along and get more attention. Finally, we will treat your dogs as part of the family. We look forward to taking care of your dogs. Thank you.

We love Kim! We hired Kim to come and walk our dog daily M-F. She always shows up, takes our pup to the park to get energy out, and has cleaned up any and all accidents he might have had. She is professional and you can tell she has a passion to be with dogs. She gets creative when something gets in her way, like me hiding the leash on accident. 🥴 We love Kim and so does our dog Koda. Highly recommend and would yell from the rooftops to all my friends and family about her.

Camilla has been walking my dog Zillie since August and it has done wonders...when I first contacted Rover, I thought I might have to give my dog up because her behavior was out of control...finding a way to release some of her excess energy was my last resort and I am SO grateful that regular walks is helping (I'm disabled and unable to walk Zillie myself). Zillie now anticipates her walks and excitedly greets Camilla when she arrives. I am so glad I found Rover and believe that Camilla has helped improve Zillie's behavior ...I am so glad to say that Zillie has found her furever home...I can't recommend Rover OR Camilla too much...!!! Thank You...❤🐕❤🐕

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Idaho Falls. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
