“We love Ms. Sherrie! She walks our golden retriever every week since we work an hour away and our girl loves her! Ms. Sherrie gives great feedback if there is anything new or out of the ordinary to report. She’s been flexible and works with our ever changing schedule with no issues. We will continue using Ms. Sherrie for sure!”

About: I have had dogs my entire life. My family dogs were small breed and now I have 2 large breeds and a cat. My dogs are both senior dogs and one gets medications twice daily. Nothing makes me feel better than seeing happy ears and happy tails. I’m here for the ones that just need company or the ones who need a break from being inside. I’m currently not working and I am studying for exams so I have open availability for the time being. I’m open to early mornings or late nights. Pets are their own individual beings and it’s important to care for each as they need and not fall into the collective mindset. I gain clues from being with the animal and always start slow and cautious to gain their trust. I always make sure pets are cared for, clean, and happy as can be.
About: I have watched dogs of all ages from puppies to a 10 year old. Even though I don't have any formal training I can teach commands and potty training. I work part time in the evenings when my husband is home. I do leave during the day at times for 2 hours at the most for appointments for my kids. I love to stay busy and can help as many hours as you need. I live in an apartment but I do have 4 dogs, 3 cats and a gecko. My pets are a little rowdy at times but they all get along well even the cats.
About: I have raised dogs my entire life. In highschool my lab had a litter of 15 chocolate chips that were bottle fed every two hours. In college and into adulthood I rescued a small mix breed who travelled the country with me and stayed with me well into parenthood. She recently crossed the rainbow bridge. Now our family guardian is a Saint Bernard who loves nothing more than watching her tailless brothers playing in the back yard. We are used to all different sizes of fur babies around our house! I am a stay at home mom and I homeschool my boys, so I am available most of the time! I like to get out of the house to play at the parks, or bike the river belt, but I am never away from home long. I have a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood, great for walking around. I have a Saint Bernard sized cage if needed, or you can bring your own if you want. I have two young boys (7&11)who love to give belly rubs and throw balls, and a female Saint Bernard to keep your baby company.
About: I have taken care of many animals, I have pet sat in homes that have 1 dog up to 5 dogs and other farm animals. I will treat every animal like they are my own, and give them all the love and care they need! I am a teacher who is off for summer break so I will be home every day, I do leave the house but for now longer than 3 hours at a time as we have our own dog. I have had experience in many different homes caring for animals. We have a fenced yard and when your animal is here they will be supervised at all times or in their crate to keep them safe.
About: I've grown up around two cats (short hair male and long hair female), birds (parakeets), and leopard geckos (one male one female). I have dogsat a variety of sizes (including a female husky) and did some dog walking a few years ago (a pit bull female) I currently work less than full time and go to college less than full time so I have a fairly open and flexible schedule, to make it slightly easier with planning I work I would be available everyday besides Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am flexible in availability and can follow any special instructions you may have about your pets specific needs, even weird quirky routines they may have! I am very adaptable and more than willing to stay with you pets or animals at your home or just drop in and check on them when needed!

About: I have been around animals my entire life. I have had mostly dogs. My kids are also very animal oriented. I have cared for praying mantis, hermit crabs, tortoises, cocktail, hamsters, cats, dogs, bunny. These are most of the pets I have cared for. Walking them, helping groom them feeding them and spending time with them. I have trained both my cat and my dog many commands. They both know sit, speak, the dog knows shake and can switch, the cat is learning. I just enjoy being around animals. If I could I would have many more, but that is why I am here, so I can visit with other animals. I am currently not working and just enjoy spreading time with my older kids and my pets. I have time on my hands and want to be with animals so I am doing this and lining into volunteer opportunities with the local shelters Right now because I have pets at home I would be willing to come to your home and take care of your animals. When my husband is home i would be willing to do overnights if needed
About: Happy pets, happy life! I offer a loving home, fun playtime, and walks in Idaho Falls and the surrounding areas. I’ve taken care of many different pets of all shapes, sizes, ages and temperaments. As a pet mom myself I understand the importance and worry of leaving my fur baby behind while I’m away. I will always send extra pictures and take extra precautions and time to make sure your fur babies feel safe and loved while you’re away! I provide a safe, comfortable, and fun environment, ensuring they get plenty of attention and enrichment. With a few years of experience caring for dogs and cats, I'm dedicated to giving your pets the best possible care while you're away. Let's chat about how I can make your pet's stay a happy one! I work at the airport part time, but the hours differ. I am available most of the time, and if I’m at work I can still stop by after work or on my breaks or stay overnight to take care of the pet(s). I care for my own cat as if she is my child. All the pets I watch (including my own) get fed right on time on schedule, I give them extra attention and pets, if they like toys I make sure to spend a while playing with them to make sure they don’t get bored and they stay happy and entertained!

I currently work at home, and my kids are homeschooled, so many helping hands to take care of and love your puppy dogs to their hearts content! I have a big fenced-in yard, plenty of room for your doggos to get their wiggles out :) I've also got a sweetheart of a dog, and she'll be their playmate till the end of time!

“We love Kim! We hired Kim to come and walk our dog daily M-F. She always shows up, takes our pup to the park to get energy out, and has cleaned up any and all accidents he might have had. She is professional and you can tell she has a passion to be with dogs. She gets creative when something gets in her way, like me hiding the leash on accident. 🥴 We love Kim and so does our dog Koda. Highly recommend and would yell from the rooftops to all my friends and family about her.”

About: My husband and I love dogs. We are retired, and can spend time loving, playing, and walking with your dogs. We have a dog named Soren who is almost a year old. He gets along well with other dogs. He weighs 75 lbs. and plays regularly with our son's and his wife's Yorkie poo and toy poodle. We have experience watching and boarding them. Soren has also had successful experience with other dogs when our other son was dogsitting with him. In addition, we will only be watching dogs from one family at a time, to make sure the dogs get along and get more attention. Finally, we will treat your dogs as part of the family. We look forward to taking care of your dogs. Thank you.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Orvin
Camilla has been walking my dog Zillie since August and it has done wonders...when I first contacted Rover, I thought I might have to give my dog up because her behavior was out of control...finding a way to release some of her excess energy was my last resort and I am SO grateful that regular walks is helping (I'm disabled and unable to walk Zillie myself). Zillie now anticipates her walks and excitedly greets Camilla when she arrives. I am so glad I found Rover and believe that Camilla has helped improve Zillie's behavior ...I am so glad to say that Zillie has found her furever home...I can't recommend Rover OR Camilla too much...!!! Thank You...❤🐕❤🐕

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
