About: Animals have been the heartbeat of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a ranch, I learned early on that caring for animals is a 24/7 commitment that requires patience, hard work, and a sharp eye for detail. From chickens and bunnies to cats and dogs—and even more unique pets like ferrets and birds—I was raised with the understanding that every animal has its own personality and specific needs. My parents gave me my first dog when I was 1, she was best friend till she passed away when I was 17 years old. I learned at a very young age how to care for dogs and all the responsibilities that go along with them. She was by my side, even when she passed. I have owned several more through my adult life and currently have 2 senior pups that have been with us since Itty bitty babies. As an animal mom myself, I know exactly how hard it is to head out on vacation. Leaving your fur babies behind and worrying about the level of care they are receiving can be incredibly stressful. Because I understand that bond, I promise that any pet in my care will receive the exact same level of love, attention, and high-standard care that I expect for my own. My goal is to give you total peace of mind; I’m here to make sure your pet’s routine is followed perfectly and their day is a little brighter while you’re away. My husband owns his own business and I am currently taking classes online at home on my own time to get my bachelors degree in accounting so rover fits my schedule perfectly and lets me do something I love. How perfect is that! Care in Your Home (Drop-ins & House Sitting) "When I care for your pets in your home, my priority is maintaining their sense of security and routine. I understand that a disruption in their environment can be stressful, so I focus on the details that matter: I stick strictly to your feeding, exercise, and medication schedules. Whether it’s a high-energy game of fetch or quiet snuggles for a senior pet, I’m there to provide genuine companionship, not just a quick visit. Care in My Home (Boarding & Daycare) "I treat every pet in my home like a member of my own family. My space is a 'pawsitive' environment where your fur baby can feel relaxed and loved while you’re away. Pets are never left unattended and have constant access to fresh water, cozy resting spots, a fenced in back yard, and plenty of affection. Can also crate if needed. Because I’m an 'animal mom,' I know that some pets need extra reassurance. I provide a calm, organized space where they can settle in quickly. Drawing on my years of experience growing up on a ranch, I am highly observant of animal behavior and health. I keep a close eye on their appetite, energy levels, and overall well being. You’ll receive regular photos and updates so you can see exactly how much fun your pet is having, letting you enjoy your time away worry-free."
“William was great to work with as a sitter. He responded quickly to my request and helped adjust dates as needed. We set up a meet and greet and met him and his family and their dog. They were great!”

“Alexandra was amazing with our pup Winsor. He’s a senior with all kinds of medications and needing extra potty breaks. She was so great to accommodate and love him like he was her own. She kept us updated throughout his stay and provided all kinds of pictures. Would highly recommend!”
“We left our border collie pup for 3 nights /4 days and everything was great! We loved getting the picture updates and felt assured our dog was getting all her needs met. Usually she struggles the first day somewhere new, but she was completely comfortable and didn’t have the separation anxiety we anticipated. She also loved playing with their dog, who taught her how to relax :) 10/10 would use Ryan & Rebekah again.”

About: I have taken care of many animals, I have pet sat in homes that have 1 dog up to 5 dogs and other farm animals. I will treat every animal like they are my own, and give them all the love and care they need! I am a teacher who is off for summer break so I will be home every day, I do leave the house but for now longer than 3 hours at a time as we have our own dog. I have had experience in many different homes caring for animals. We have a fenced yard and when your animal is here they will be supervised at all times or in their crate to keep them safe.
“Kortni was phenomenal with my senior dog, Mamut. She treated her with so much love and care and kept me updated with pics and news. Mamut has gotten a bit more anxious as she has aged and Kortni was very understanding and compassionate for my ole gal. Thank you Kortni! I appreciate you so much!”

About: I currently own husky, responsibilities include walking and running her. Feeding her and making sure she has water throughout the day. I've grown up with dogs my whole life and have been the soul caretaker. I'm currently working a part time job and doing online courses. I'm free throughout the day anywhere from 7am until 6pm day time I'm also available for overnight stay if needed. I make sure they have water throughout the day. I usually take my dogs on a walk at least three times a day. Definitely love giving attention to any pets.
“Jaylin was amazing! She loved on my pup as much as I do, sent pictures and videos, and sent updates. While we were on vacation he had a fun vacation too with Jaylin :) Will be using her again.”

“Camile & Aaron were amazing! They were super easy to communicate with and very accommodating. They sent pictures and videos of my dogs during their stay, and overall took great care of them. I would definitely recommend them! 😊”

“Jaralee was so amazing, I felt completely at ease leaving our dog with her! She spoiled her and sent pictures letting us know how our pup was doing which I appreciated so much. She was also really flexible with our time coming home, as we were on an emergency family trip and weren't exactly sure of our return. We will definitely use Jaralee again if need be!!”

Marilee took such amazing care of our kitten. It was out first time leaving for extended time with our kitten and we couldn't be more relieved with Marilee's amazing care. Popcorn had the best time with her and her family and even made a few pet friends! We got daily pictures of his adventures. Thank you so much for caring for our boy. Popcorn can't wait to come back to Camp Marilee😸

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
