Never more than 4 dogs at a time
I have been around animals my entire life. Growing up my mother trained service dogs and I was eager to help her. I have found that dogs become overwhelmed when there are a lot of other dogs, because of this we hold pretty strictly to never having more than 4 dogs in our home at a time. We also never feed dogs around each other to avoid any potential issues. We want your dog to feel as comfortable as possible while they stay with us and don't force them to do anything they aren't used to.

Cancelled the booking after I dropped my dog off citing marking reasons and saying she cannot take care of him. I was already on the road. We had to find a new boarding place as we were on the road driving. No such problems were observed with the dog previously. Did not get a refund for $24 out of the ~$400 booking. Would not recommend this sitter at all.
Allycia and her family were great and Gilly was very happy staying with them! Great communication, easy drop off and a happy dog. Thanks!

Schedule
I have a large fully fenced backyard that is perfect for them to run around and get their energy out. My 7 year old Plott Hound Roscoe loves playing with other dogs, but inside is often the biggest couch potato, but happy to share his couch with a friend.

My kids are young, but very comfortable with other animals and understand not to get in their face and overwhelm them or bug them while they're eating, etc. But if your dog wants a ball thrown all day they're up for the challenge!
Pets
A typical day
I typically don't do walks in the winter unless you specifically ask me to. I do however let them outside to play in our large fenced in back yard multiple times throughout the day and let them in whenever they ask.

- If your dog has any separation anxiety, previous aggression issues/PTSD I would prefer to do a meet and greet first. If they don't have these issues I typically won't request a meet and greet, however I am always willing to do one of it makes you more comfortable! We do prefer the dogs that have more of a moderate to low energy level as our dog, while playful, is very calm. If the dog is well trained and loves to play with kids we can handle higher energy as long as they're a good sleeper.
