“Lisette is great with my dogs! We have an older dog that she comes and walks and he loves it. We also just got a puppy and she has been coming over in the middle of the day to take him and our older dog on small walks and it’s been great!”

About: Hi, my name is Tiersa and my family and I have recently moved from Georgia to come “back home” to the panhandle of West Virginia. I have lots of experience with drop-in visits, walks, and especially boarding (though I’m currently not boarding until our house is finished being built). I have been with Rover for 5 years (and loved every second) and I have 10 years of animal handling experience. When I’m not walking and playing with new animal friends I’m at home, homeschooling my children who are 14 and 12. We are all huge animal lovers and your sweet fur baby will never go without snuggles in our house. I am a stay-at-home mother who homeschools her kiddos. I have a very flexible schedule, so finding a routine that works for you and your furry baby won’t be hard for me. I’m currently not boarding in my home because our house is being built and our current lodgings aren’t big enough for another fur baby to be comfortable in.

“Grace has been a wonderful addition to our fur kiddos lives. We are sad to see her move away and I know Peyton and Liam will miss seeing her every day. Grace is a wonderful dog walker and person. Best of luck with your move.”

About: I’ve had a dog at all times since the age of 13. My oldest dog of 14 years passed away several months ago with cognitive decline allowing me to be very understanding and knowledgeable of senior dogs as well. I also have experience with breeds such as the Belgian malinois so I am also equipped for dogs with high energy needs. Dogs are treated better than probably even the people that come through my door and I will do the same with your pup! :) THERE IS ONLY ONE DOG IN MY HOME OTHER TWO LISTED DOGS DO NOT RESIDE IN MY HOME I am only available for evening drop ins and walks M-F however I only work half days on Fridays making me available for boarding Thursday evenings-Sunday evenings as needed! I am also available for drop ins on single days Fri-Sun as well: As someone who has worked in home health in the medical field as well as pet sat my whole life, I will always be respectful of your home. I currently live in an apartment however we go for long walks and frequent the dog parks in town (if requested by you only). Must do a meet and greet with my 1 small pup prior to booking on a case by case basis. THERE IS ONLY ONE DOG IN MY HOME OTHER TWO LISTED DOGS DO NOT RESIDE IN MY HOME

About: I grew up having multiple pets at a time. I’ve watched pets for friends, family, and neighbors throughout the years. My pets are one of my favorite things about waking up and coming home each day. I am currently unemployed, because I just moved back home. I’m trying to earn a little money as well as help you out with your furry four-legged family members. I have a fenced in yard, and a good sized house for your dog(s) to explore and use. I have 5 friendly fur babies that can be put away if need be.

About: I have decades of experience with both cats and dogs! I have a reactive/senior dog that I have had since he was a puppy. He also suffered from severe separation anxiety, that I had to help him with when we first got him. I rescued him from the Humane Society. I have had training with him, to help give him his best life. I have experience with both dogs and cats, from puppy/kitten to senior age and every age in between. I do have basic pet training skills, including leash training, as well. I also can administer oral medication when needed for dogs. I have experience with dogs with special needs, such as, blindness and special dietary needs. I have experience with active/herding dogs as well. My senior dog Willow, was a boarder/lab. She recently crossed over the rainbow bridge. She was over 13. She was a very active girl. I also have 2 grand dogs. A 4 year old male Great Dane/hound and a 1 1/2 year old male Australian shepherd. I take care of them from time to time when my family needs me too. I also have several clients that I regularly take care of their pets while they’re either at work or away on vacation. I offer several types of services for your pets. I can do drop ins/potty breaks, walks/playtime or overnight stays when you’re away or on vacation. I also provide photos/videos, so that you can see how much fun your fur baby is having while you’re away! I do have experience with multiple dogs/cats households. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s) and helping to provide caregiving services for your pet! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am available most days with notice ahead of time. On occasion, I can do non-scheduled pet care times as well. When caring for your pet in your home, I will follow your instructions for your pets needs. We can discuss how much time your pet can be left alone, as well as, if they need to be crated while left alone. If I am taking care of your pet while you’re away for overnight stays, I will generally check on your pet every 4 to 5 hours unless noted otherwise.

About: I grew up on a 255 acre farm and have had pets my entire life. I have always loved all animals, even if they weren't mine. I love cats and dogs, and I would open my home for fostering if I was able. I just can't get enough of the fur love! I can be warm and snuggly for the oldies, or I can be ready for training for the babies if needed. I understand that some fur friends have special needs and I can follow directions promptly to the T. Whatever you need, I'll be sure to provide. Your pets will be loved just as much as I love my own for babies, and that’s LOTS for sure!! I’m a stay at be mom, so my schedule is normally wide open. I do not typically work Sundays as that is my family day. I have trained my dogs to stay in my yard as we don’t have a fence, however we do have remote collars just in case. I do my best to follow the guidelines of every pet owner I work for and make sure your pets are treated like my own.

About: I worked at PetSmart for over a year in the grooming Department. I also worked for doggie style pets in Philadelphia . Before I started grooming I worked at Sobo Dog daycare as well in Baltimore. I really enjoy working with dogs and getting to know them and the pet parents. I want to make a safe environment so they're comfortable that their pets are taken care of. I'm hoping that later down the road that I can possibly find a career in this and I feel like this is a good way to start. Im really looking forward to this opportunity to further my experience in this field. I love dogs and I'm excited for this opportunity to love and care for your pets.

About: My husband and I have had dogs most of our lives and have had as many as 4 during our 16 years of marriage....all rescues. We pet-sit for friends and family often and now that we are retired from full-time jobs, we are extending that service to others through Rover. We especially appreciate senior dogs. We have part-time jobs but one of us is home most of the time. We do travel in our RV and would block out those dates in the calendar. We have a 1 acre fenced back yard (4 ft high fence) for dogs to run and play. We have a network of dog doors for small/medium sized dogs so they can be trained to go out into the fenced yard whenever they wish. We have a pool but it's fenced in so dog can't go swimming without permission. We do have a Rubbermaid stock tank that our guest dogs can use to cool off. If you crate your dog during the night, we can align to that but our two dogs sleep with us on our bed at night. Yours can too if you wish.

Karen & Christopher H.
Star Sitter

“Chris & Karen are DEFINITELY dog lovers! They'd rather rescue than purchase a puppy; all their dogs have been rescues and well-loved. They take their dogs (sometimes as many as 4) just about everywhere they go. I've used them for dog sitting several times over the last 3 years, and my dogs absolutely love it there! Once they find the doggie door, they're in heaven. They have a HUGE fenced-in back yard that easily accommodates large and small dogs. There is plenty of room for dogs to run and play outside. They allow dogs into their house on the main level, and they have dog beds and toys if your dogs cares to use them. Karen sends pictures to me while my dogs are there; they're usually laying on her or sacked out on their side because they're played out! Karen tells me my dogs settle in within an hour or so of dropping them off, so I know they must feel comfortable and safe there. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone.”
