About: Hi, my name is Tiersa and my family and I have recently moved from Georgia to come “back home” to the panhandle of West Virginia. I have lots of experience with drop-in visits, walks, and especially boarding (though I’m currently not boarding until our house is finished being built). I have been with Rover for 5 years (and loved every second) and I have 10 years of animal handling experience. When I’m not walking and playing with new animal friends I’m at home, homeschooling my children who are 14 and 12. We are all huge animal lovers and your sweet fur baby will never go without snuggles in our house. I am a stay-at-home mother who homeschools her kiddos. I have a very flexible schedule, so finding a routine that works for you and your furry baby won’t be hard for me. I’m currently not boarding in my home because our house is being built and our current lodgings aren’t big enough for another fur baby to be comfortable in.

About: I have decades of experience with both cats and dogs! I have a reactive/senior dog that I have had since he was a puppy. He also suffered from severe separation anxiety, that I had to help him with when we first got him. I rescued him from the Humane Society. I have had training with him, to help give him his best life. I have experience with both dogs and cats, from puppy/kitten to senior age and every age in between. I do have basic pet training skills, including leash training, as well. I also can administer oral medication when needed for dogs. I have experience with dogs with special needs, such as, blindness and special dietary needs. I have experience with active/herding dogs as well. My senior dog Willow, was a boarder/lab. She recently crossed over the rainbow bridge. She was over 13. She was a very active girl. I also have 2 grand dogs. A 4 year old male Great Dane/hound and a 1 1/2 year old male Australian shepherd. I take care of them from time to time when my family needs me too. I also have several clients that I regularly take care of their pets while they’re either at work or away on vacation. I offer several types of services for your pets. I can do drop ins/potty breaks, walks/playtime or overnight stays when you’re away or on vacation. I also provide photos/videos, so that you can see how much fun your fur baby is having while you’re away! I do have experience with multiple dogs/cats households. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s) and helping to provide caregiving services for your pet! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am available most days with notice ahead of time. On occasion, I can do non-scheduled pet care times as well. When caring for your pet in your home, I will follow your instructions for your pets needs. We can discuss how much time your pet can be left alone, as well as, if they need to be crated while left alone. If I am taking care of your pet while you’re away for overnight stays, I will generally check on your pet every 4 to 5 hours unless noted otherwise.

About: I grew up having multiple pets at a time. I’ve watched pets for friends, family, and neighbors throughout the years. My pets are one of my favorite things about waking up and coming home each day. I am currently unemployed, because I just moved back home. I’m trying to earn a little money as well as help you out with your furry four-legged family members. I have a fenced in yard, and a good sized house for your dog(s) to explore and use. I have 5 friendly fur babies that can be put away if need be.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience and genuine passion for animals of all sizes and personalities. I have cared for many dogs of various breeds & sizes throughout my life and currently have three dogs and two cats at home. Besides cats & dogs, I have also cared for rabbits, guinea pigs, parakeets, hamsters, chickens, goats, and sheep! For the past two years, I have also volunteered at the SPCA in Winchester, gaining hands-on experience with pets of all ages, temperaments, and care needs. I am confident working with playful puppies, senior pets, and everyone in between. I am patient, outgoing, and truly love providing animals with the care and attention they deserve. I am often available during early morning-late night. My schedule varies during the summer, I am available some Mondays/Tuesdays, but I am mostly available Wednesday-Sunday. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort above all else. At my home, pets enjoy a fully fenced-in backyard for safe outdoor play, a walkable neighborhood for daily walks and fresh air, and a spacious deck that’s perfect for lounging and sunbathing. Inside, animals are treated like family in a clean, pet-friendly space with constant attention and care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect their routines and space, ensuring their pets feel secure, loved, and well cared for in their own environment.

“It’s about time I give this amazing woman a review. She is an ANGEL. Goes above and beyond to make sure my babies are happy. My dogs are handicapped and Cynthia made sure to accommodate their needs. We started out just walking 1/3 of my dogs, because two are handicapped. However, the weeks ended with Cynthia walking all three. She is highly communicative and flexible with any needs. I highly highly recommend her services. She is absolutely my go to person without a doubt! My pups LOVE her!”

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life. And am wanting to show that same passion for responsibility to my children. I am a huge animal lovers and won’t just “watch” your dog, but play and love them while you are away. They will truly be treated like family while they are here. Im currently a grad student and stay at home mom, which does keep me busy but also gives me plenty of flexibility. My kids need multiple walks a day so adding a dog to my schedule will be fun and easy. I have a fenced in yard that the dog is welcome to roam, but my kids also love being outside and going for walks so if your dog is active then they will get plenty of exercise with our family.

About: I grew up on a 255 acre farm and have had pets my entire life. I have always loved all animals, even if they weren't mine. I love cats and dogs, and I would open my home for fostering if I was able. I just can't get enough of the fur love! I can be warm and snuggly for the oldies, or I can be ready for training for the babies if needed. I understand that some fur friends have special needs and I can follow directions promptly to the T. Whatever you need, I'll be sure to provide. Your pets will be loved just as much as I love my own for babies, and that’s LOTS for sure!! I’m a stay at be mom, so my schedule is normally wide open. I do not typically work Sundays as that is my family day. I have trained my dogs to stay in my yard as we don’t have a fence, however we do have remote collars just in case. I do my best to follow the guidelines of every pet owner I work for and make sure your pets are treated like my own.

About: My husband and I have had dogs most of our lives and have had as many as 4 during our 16 years of marriage....all rescues. We pet-sit for friends and family often and now that we are retired from full-time jobs, we are extending that service to others through Rover. We especially appreciate senior dogs. We have part-time jobs but one of us is home most of the time. We do travel in our RV and would block out those dates in the calendar. We have a 1 acre fenced back yard (4 ft high fence) for dogs to run and play. We have a network of dog doors for small/medium sized dogs so they can be trained to go out into the fenced yard whenever they wish. We have a pool but it's fenced in so dog can't go swimming without permission. We do have a Rubbermaid stock tank that our guest dogs can use to cool off. If you crate your dog during the night, we can align to that but our two dogs sleep with us on our bed at night. Yours can too if you wish.

About: I am just an average grandma who works a little bit and needs fur babies to be able to hug on and squeeze. All pets will be loved no matter what house they are staying at. Just as long as there is food water shelter and lots of love.

About: I've taken care of friends and families dogs for years. Ranging from young pups all the way to sickly elderly boys that required medicinal care daily. I've also raised and cared for all 3 of my puppies. Im not currently working so I can walk your pup almost any time you need me too. I can walk as far or as long as necessary for your pup to be satisfied, as well as any type or size of dog I've always loved dogs, i've never met a dog that I was unable to form some sort of a connection to and get to be comfortable with me. In most cases it seems like dogs are pulled to me and its effortless for me.

About: I’ve taken care of pets of all kinds from cats to dogs since I was age 13 for friends and other family members while they are on vacation or busy at work. I’m currently working a full time job but look forward to doing this as a side job on the side from working my current full time job. Karen & Christopher H.
Star Sitter

“Chris & Karen are DEFINITELY dog lovers! They'd rather rescue than purchase a puppy; all their dogs have been rescues and well-loved. They take their dogs (sometimes as many as 4) just about everywhere they go. I've used them for dog sitting several times over the last 3 years, and my dogs absolutely love it there! Once they find the doggie door, they're in heaven. They have a HUGE fenced-in back yard that easily accommodates large and small dogs. There is plenty of room for dogs to run and play outside. They allow dogs into their house on the main level, and they have dog beds and toys if your dogs cares to use them. Karen sends pictures to me while my dogs are there; they're usually laying on her or sacked out on their side because they're played out! Karen tells me my dogs settle in within an hour or so of dropping them off, so I know they must feel comfortable and safe there. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone.”
