“Alexys is AMAZING!!! She is kind and caring to our three dogs. She is reliable and dependable. She goes above and beyond her job duties and is awesome! We highly recommend her!”

“Robert is great with my dog. He treats her very well. Makes sure she gets her walk rain or shine. Robert keeps me updated with everything going on and is a great communicator.”

“Thoughtful, reliable, trustworthy. That would be enough for five stars but Marvin is also really gifted with dogs. Just great. We feel lucky to have found him.”

“Greg is seriously the best dog walker I could ask for. He’s super flexible and always helps me out when my schedule changes last minute. My 100 lb lab, Copper, LOVES him and is always worn out after their walks. Greg makes sure Copper has water and that he’s safely secured in the house before leaving, which I really appreciate while I’m at work. I’ll definitely be using him for all future walks. Thanks so much, Greg!”

About: I’ve been around animals pretty much my whole life, and caring for them is something that comes naturally to me. I know how much love and attention pets need (and deserve!), and I’m all about making sure they get that while you're away. Whether it’s taking an energetic dog on a long walk or playing with your cat’s favorite feather toy, I’m up for it. I adore animals of all ages and all sizes! My flexible work schedule means I’m available during the work week and my weekends tend to be completely available as well. I keep my Rover calendar as up to date as possible and you can always check my availability. Need someone overnight? I’ve got you covered! I’m a huge animal lover and would treat your pet as if they were my own. I know how important it is to find someone you trust, and I’d love to be that person for you and your pet. I’m free most weekends and have a lot of flexibility with my schedule! I can accommodate with at least two days notice given for those last minute trips or conferences. Let me help you :) At meet and greets, I like to go over all the care instructions for your animal and ask about any additional questions or concerns you may have. If you have written instructions or can send them virtually, I’ll follow them all with care and consideration.
About: I have always owned dogs and considered them as family. I have taken care of family and friends' dogs for about 20 years now and I have always treated them as if they were my own. I work full time, but only 2 or 3 days a week depending on the week. Therefore I'm free about 5 days a week and my schedule is flexible. Also, I live with my parents and sister and whenever I need to run errands, the pups never stay alone. I have a 20x30 yards, fenced back yard. I make them play for a while, feed them as instructed per the owner. If small enough, I let them sleep with me, if allowed by you.
“So happy to have found Ashley and Aubrey! They took the time to make my very skittish dog comfortable with them! We've been putting off vacations and travel since moving to the area because our dog has such high anxiety, but now we have the confidence that he's in the right hands!”

About: Im good with pets, both cats and dogs. Im available to walk dogs in the morning and sometimes evenings. Im also available to pet sit or drop in to feed and give potty breaks! I look forward to meeting your pets! If you request me I’ll get back immediately to let you know whether I’m available and to arrange a meet and greet. I kindly expect the same, if you find another sitter a quick reply is greatly appreciated! 💗 I work anywhere from 25-50 hrs a week depending on the time of year. My schedule is flexible. However I am always available mornings. With advance notice I can be available as needed and rework my schedule. I will follow instructions precisely while caring for your pet. I have cats and always make sure they have clean food/water bowls, clean litter box and are fed appropriately. I’d love to have a dog but I’m a renter.
“Leat was super nice! She took great care of my 10 week old puppy. She took her on a long walk and sent adorable pictures along the way! She was very respectful of my place when she came to get my pup. I definitely recommend her! Great first experience ?”

I have house it and pet sit since a young age for neighbors, as well as for my own family. My sister also is the Hospital Administrator at PETS emergency vet in Bozeman. God forbid any sort of issue arised, I am one phone call away from immediate vet help. i am currently seeking to make dog walking my full time job. I have a free range schedule to take care of, walk, or house sit. I walk my personal dog 6-8 times a day, hikes, nature walks, and open field play sessions. I have chew toys and tug toys I use at home for additional stimulation. I am able to bring toys or would be willing to bring a toy if needed.

About: I have taken care of both puppies and older dogs. I love getting to be around dogs so it’d be a joy to take care of yours. I have a flexible schedule, and I am able to plan around when your dog needs me. Looking forward to connecting with you and your dog! I will follow your lead on how you have raised your dog and your preferences with the dog’s walking, playing, sleeping, and eating schedule etc.
“Rachel, as always, is great! She is very communicative and our pup LOVES when she visits. She’s always our first go to when we need someone to care for our guy when we are out of town.”

About: Hi! I’m Anna, and I recently moved to Port St. Lucie. I’m a lifelong animal lover and excited to meet new furry friends in the area! I recently graduated with my Master of Public Administration (MPA) and am currently studying for my SHRM certification. While I continue building my career, I’m excited to spend time caring for pets because they’ve always brought me so much joy. I genuinely love animals of all kinds and understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having a calm companion, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’m reliable, patient, and will treat your pets like they’re my own. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! As a part-time grad student with a full-time remote job, I spend my days at home. I can assure you that I'll make every effort to meet your dog's routine as much as possible! I am flexible with your dog's needs, ready to adjust to create the ideal, comfortable environment for them. Let's make it a perfect match! Sounds good?
About: I have cared for Animals since I was 10 years old! I have cared for household pets (dogs, cats, birds), farm animals (horses, cows, chickens, goats) and exotics (reptiles, ferrets, etc). I am a former ASPCA Animal Care Technician and have experience with serving as an Assistant Veterinary Technician as well. I work from home all day and occasionally have to go in for 4-5 hours a couple evenings a week but aside from that I am available to be present for your animal on a consistent basis! My pets are always in sight of me when I am home, so I like to make sure I can always keep an eye on them in the event of an emergency.
“Barbara did an excellent job with Murphy. She sent me pictures and left commentary as to what would be helpful. And from the photos she left Murphy appeared to really like her. I highly recommend.”

About: I would say I live for me but honestly I live for the pets! I currently work at Fur-Tastic Pet Spa at the Okeechobee Claws and Paws building right next to the vet. I also managed a dog daycare/boarding facility in Venice and I volunteered and worked at Satchels Last Resort Animal Sanctuary for cats and dogs in Sarasota. I’ve been a nanny for children and of course the fur babies! My long term goal is to be a Veterinarian or run my own business. I have a personal connection to animals due to my high sensitivity to emotion. I’m very cautious and gentle because hey your baby’s are meeting someone new all of a sudden. Reading a dogs or cats language is very important. Looking to meet and play with all the lovely pets😊 Rover is currently my part time job after 4:00pm. So I have an open availability and no restrictions after then. Let me know your dates and times and we can work something out! I have had many dogs and other pets over the years and I know how to house train and discipline them accordingly if needed. I prefer to use the praise tactic rather than yelling It creates a calm happy understanding environment.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
