About: I grew up caring for pets of all kinds, and for the past six years have cared for a behaviorally complex (but wonderful!) rescue pup. Our journey has taught me a ton about training, and about patience. As a result, I am very understanding of dogs and other animals that deal with reactivity — we are a shame-free household! I work full time, but my schedule is flexible on my work-from-home days and on weekends, which gives me plenty of time to care for and love on your pets. As a detail-oriented, attentive person, I will be sure to follow any instructions you have for your pet’s care. Otherwise, I will use my best judgment and careful attention to the safety and health of your pet to make all other decisions while they’re in my care.

About: My very first job was at the ymca as a daycare attendant at 12 coinciding with my first volunteer work at the local cat shelter. So caretaking is my bread and butter. I’ve got experience I big and aggressive dogs including training as well as itty bitty dogs. I have not had the hubris to attempt training cats but they tend to like me especially kittens (idk a generational trait according to my grandfathers family). I’ve just moved to Madison so I’m looking to fill my schedule with fuzzy faces. Eventually I will be working but I will build that schedule around this. Obviously it depends on the pet but typically for own pets I feed them on a timer twice a day. The dogs go outside before hand. Then treats through the day for certain tasks like bedtime, not barking at strangers or to leave me alone when I’m going to the bathroom XD. My dogs would also get a long walk (1-3 hours) two or three days a week.

About: I have had large dogs for years. We have a safe home with a fenced back yard. I have a 10 Year old Golden and Year old Bernese Mountain Dog. I work from home and lots of time to care for more than my own dogs. I am attentive and keep a regular schedule. I have experience with taking care of older dogs and administering medications as well. I have a spacious home and a fenced back yard. I have had dogs all my life so my home is well suited for taking care of animals.

Some of my responsibilities have included walking, feeding, playing, brushing, bathing, and cleaning up after them. I have experience with dogs ages 1-15, some having physical disabilities(Hip dysplasia). I am an efficient communicator and will provide the best care for your animal! I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have more than enough time to care for your furry family! I am very flexible and am willing to work with you and around your schedule! I always ensure the safety, health, and happiness of all animals under my care. Under home visits, I ensure a clean environment, will feed, and entertain them for the duration of my stay. I ensure the same standards for walking as well.
