“Alaina is an excellent pet sitter who will take great care of your furry family members. From the moment I met her, I was impressed by her warmth and friendliness. She did a wonderful job with my sweet kitty! While I was away for the weekend, she took fantastic care of my cat and sent me numerous photos and updates. About: I've had large breed dogs my entire life and volunteer regularly at shelters to help.socialize the animals to be more adoptable. My last rottie had leukemia and I cared for her throughout chemotherapy so have experience with many related health challenges. I recently exited my corporate career after 15 years of travel and computer work. I'm taking a break to recalibrate and spend more time outdoors being active. I have a fenced back yard and several crates that can be used if needed. My dog is very friendly and loves new friends to play with anyone- human or animal- that is open to play.

“I can't thank Jana enough. The confidence and peace I was able to have that Chompers was in good hands. I am so grateful for her. Can't recommend highly enough and not enough stars available for the high rating she deserves.”

“Holly was nothing short of exceptional! Between the professionalism and genuine care, we could not have been more pleased with her help. Notes were thorough and photographs were generous ! All the goodies that help keep a fur parent at peace while away. Will happily rebook when needed. Thank you for your help !”

About: I have been caring for pets (dogs and cats) since I was 5 years old and have always been passionate about researching and finding effective natural solutions to support pet health. I also have lots of senior dog care experience, and am comfortable administering most meds that don't involve needles. My beloved senior dog with special needs (lost use of hind legs among other things) recently passed away and I miss him but am so thankful for the time we had. I learned a lot about using natural remedies to support senior dog health from him and also learned to walk him with support for his hind end. I am currently able to provide drop in visits for pets in the Mountain Glen I community in Sylmar at this time. If you live in this community and need help caring for your family pet, please reach out so we can arrange a time to meet. Happy to help with dogs, cats and possibly other kinds of pets. I can board too, but only for pets I know and have worked with previously. I always look for and implement practices that will create a safe, peaceful, healthy and nurturing environment for pets in my home and only board pets from the same home at the same time. Boarding and day-care are only available for pets I know and have worked with previously.

About: I'm a cat and dog owner myself, my fur baby is 7 years old. I rescued him from the pound when he was 3 months old (it was love at first sight for me) and a 3-year-old lab/retriever. I rescued him, and he's amazing. I will take care of your fur baby like it's mine. I work remotely, so I am home all day and night. I only step out too go to the gym, and to take and pick up my daughter from school. I have a big house, so your pet will have plenty of space to run around in and friendly pets to play with and have fun.

About: Hey there! I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up in Utah surrounded by every kind of animal you can imagine. My mom ran a pet-sitting business while I was growing up and I was her little shadow, joining her on visits long before I could drive. When I turned 11, I even started my own dog-walking business complete with business cards and poop bags! After high school, I transitioned into the healthcare field but animals have always been a huge part of my life. I recently relocated to Los Angeles and deeply miss the joy of being around animals, which is why I joined Rover. Let’s set up a meet & greet! I’d love to connect and make sure your pet gets the attention and affection they deserve. :) I’m generally available most days, including mornings and afternoons! I just have a few blocked times: after 4 PM on Wednesdays and all day Thursday. Let’s chat and find a time that works best for you! Your pet’s happiness and your home’s security are always top priorities. I know I’m not just caring for your pet, I’m also stepping into your space. I treat your home with the same respect and care I’d expect in mine. I follow any instructions we’ve discussed, keep things clean, and always ensure your pet is safe and comfortable. You can expect to come home to a happy pet and a home just as you left it.

“Rich is great with dogs and cats alike. He’s watched my cats and my dogs for years when I needed someone. He was even great with a small nervous foster dog I had. Highly recommended!”

Alexander I.
“Our pet sitter canceled on us just days before our 2 week vacation which left me and my wife scrambling to find somebody to take care of our cat babies during our absence. Cats are typically pretty low maintenance, however our 3 babies are spoiled and need extra attention and love on a daily basis, which Alex was able to provide. Cats also love routine, and with Alex there was no interruption in the routine my cats are used to, such as feeding time, playing time, etc. Lastly, our eldest cat, Ginny, is especially needy and has special needs, all of which Alex was able to provide with love and care. We will definitely use Alex again in the near future when we travel, and I highly recommend as Alex treats your pets as they are his own.”

Elizabeth H.

“Elizabeth took extra time to make sure that my cat with medical needs was secrue, safe, and we'll taken care of while he was at her home. Sara H.
“Sara is a dog lover through and through. It's evident by the way she interacts with my dog Pickles when she comes to take care of him. She doesn't do just the necessary stuff like feed and walk; she'll sit with him and give him rubs and attention. She also sends me photos and updates without my having to ask, which is very comforting when I can't be there myself.”

Caroline G.
“Caroline is an incredibly caring and reliable pet caregiver. She’s attentive, patient, and always goes the extra mile to make sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I had total peace of mind knowing my furry friend was in such capable and loving hands. I highly recommend Caroline to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter!”

“Thank you so much Irene! We really appreciate you being available to look after Lou. It helped put our mind at ease and the pictures were so great. Thanks again!”

Tatianna P.

“Awesome, reliable dog walker and super accommodating to my changing schedule. Highly recommend!”

Sean A.
“Sean worked as overnight staff at a dog daycare/boarding facility in La Quinta, CA. Sean has exemplary attendance and would fill in for staff not showing up or running late without hesitations. Sean was mindful of customer requests and dog needs. Many dogs in the facility were his favorites. Sean managed some shifts alone, if someone called out or was late, with around 30 dogs by himself, with no incidents. Sean loves dogs and enjoys their company, and viceversa.”

Alexandra C.
“Highly recommended. I volunteer at a shelter so I know a lot of people who love animals, but I've never met anyone who loves and respects dogs as much as Alexandra does. She will do anything to give her own dogs her best and she'll treat anyone's pups with loving care. She's had some basic vet tech training which gives me additional confidence. And she's also fond of cats, including mine.”
