“We have been traveling for a week and changing plans due to the lack of snow so we made a very last minute request and Emma was super flexible and communicative. She took great care of Minnie! Minnie can be anxious when away from home but was much calmer than usual when we picked her up. When Minnie needed space from Emma’s playful dogs, Emma gave Minnie her own space in the house. We got updates and photos during the day too. We highly recommend Emma and would use her again if we’re traveling in this area again.”

About: Your pet’s bespoke holiday, whilst you’re on holiday. Dog sitters for large breeds or elderly dogs at a 3 acre mountain property in an incredibly dog friendly environment . We take all dogs but specialize in older or extra large breeds. We work from home but are mainly on sabbatical working the land outdoors. Our clients’ dogs become family and look forward to meeting you! I’m on a work break working on my land and home fixes with my husband who just moved over from the UK. We are technology founders and a data scientist . I have 3/4 of an acre fences and 2.5 acres at 9500 ft at the end of a cul de sac with little vehicle traffic

About: Hi! We are Kati and Mitch, a work from home couple living with our pack in the mountains. We’ve owned and raised dogs of all shapes and attitudes and sizes, so our experience covers most ground! Our 14 year old dog is a pit who was very reactive in his prime, teaching us a lot about how to handle reactive dogs safely, but now as a sleepy senior, he’s taught us more about senior dog care. We raised our second dog from a puppy, so she taught us so much about the adorable havoc that puppies can bring! Our newest is a rescue, who was a street dog in Texas. She was very skittish and is still people-shy, so we’ve learned a lot about how to approach wary dogs, and how to break those naughty habits she learned on the streets! We love our pack so much, and we’d love to use our knowledge to love yours too! We both work from home 100% of the time, so we are home all day if you need a daycare or want to board, your pup will rarely be left alone if ever! Our schedules are flexible enough that we can easily fit in multiple drop in visits or daily walks too. We have a fully fenced in yard, a little over half an acre. Our two younger dogs would love to play with a new friend, but will also give space if yours isn’t into the rough and tumble! Our dogs are all allowed on the furniture, one sleeps in bed with us. They are the center of our attention all day, yours will be no different! :)

About: I am an animal lover that works from home, so I will always be around. I'm just looking to help you care for your pets and get my pet fix! I only accept up to 2 pets at a time for more focused care. About me - my husband and I owned two beautiful Vizslas over the last 17 years and recently lost our 2nd one. I have experience caring for high energy and senior dogs (we cared for our dogs with arthritis, Cushing's Disease, muscle atrophy). I love walking, hiking, camping and spending time with animals. I have a large 1 acre property and spacious home. No other pets or kids, just me and my husband. I am perfectly happy caring for one pet at a time if you prefer your pet to be the only pet with me. I have also cared for friends' pets for a long time as well but am adding my services here to the Rover community. Thank you! I work from home full time, so I have a lot of flexibility. I am able to take breaks often during the day for potty breaks and walks. I often hang out in the yard as well. On some weekends I like to go hiking or boondock camping, I also enjoy visiting new places. I can bring your pet along on hikes, picnics and camping trips if your pet is able to join and they are small enough to fit in our camper. ;) It is ideal for me to care for pets that can be left at home for at least 3-4 hours at a time and unattended just in case I need to run errands, especially for longer bookings. If not, I can bring them with me if it is an option. Open to discussion! :) Crates are fine if they are crate trained and unable to roam around the house alone. I have a spacious 1 acre property, but it is unfenced. However it is far from the road and our area is very quiet. I can keep your pet on a leash for potty breaks if they are prone to running away. My house is spacious and has two floors with just the two of us and no other pets or kids. The stairs and floors are covered in non-slip rugs for pets. I have a baby gate to keep your pet safe from stairs if needed. There are extra rugs for the floors if needed (our senior dogs used to slip a lot). I also have a large deck that is fully enclosed - dogs love hanging out there! I limit my home to 2 pets at a time. Since I am home a lot, I can take your pet for a walk, hang out outside or let them keep me company on the couch too! Please note that I will not accept dogs that exhibit any resource guarding, food aggression, space/bed reactivity.

About: Dogs in our house are part of the family. We are a mother & son (age 14) combo with 2 dogs in the house (friendly, sweet spayed females). We have been loving and caring for dogs since we were both little, providing the best care for our price and will make your dog feel like it's at home! We have a fully fenced-in large yard and dog door. If you crate your dog, we have one in the house so that you don't have to bring yours. You can certainly bring your own dog bed, but we also have one that your pup can utilize. We also have stuffs, toys, leashes & bowls, so don't fret if you forget anything. Your furry-buddy is allowed to cuddle on the couch with us or wherever they find comfort. If the weather permits and your dog is accustomed to going to the dog park, they can join us on trips to play. We have both gone through dog training programs, most recently Ted Terroux. Clean house, well cared-for, loving home. ***** Please reach out if you need a date that shows as "unavailable" as we might be able to make a special accommodation for your dog & past clients. ***** As a teacher & student, we are on summer break and have lots of availability. During the school year, we work and go to school during the week. We are able to go home mid-day for potty breaks. We we home on weekends and during breaks (Spring Break, Summer, Fall Breaks & Winter Breaks). We have several "regular" clients that have a proven track record with our dogs.... Thus, we are able to board mid-week *if* your dog is COOL (plays well, non-destructive, low flight risk), and knows how to use a doggie door. So, please send us a message as we are often available for other dates not made public on the calendar. We look forward to getting to know you and your fur baby! We have a great record of caring for our dogs and we will be able to safely and reliably take care and keep your dog safe and happy in a comfortable and clean home. We typically feed our dogs in the morning and evening, but can accommodate your pups needs. Our home is very clean and well taken care of. There is a main level in which we hang out with great room, office and kitchen. The dogs have free-roam of the main level which has laminate flooring, but covered with carpet squares as one of our dogs does not like walking on hardwood floors. So, it is mostly carpeted for her comfort. We have a large sectional in which we allow dogs to snuggle with us while watching TV. The LARGE yard is mostly grass, some mulch/landscaped trees & shrubs, with concrete patio in which we spend a lot of time dining and reading. We pick up poop DAILY. During the evening, if you request your dog could be crated in the bedroom in which one of us is sleeping as dogs are pack animals and they don't like being separated from the pack. We keep them close to us. But, we want to keep everyone safe, so the crate is available (optional) for their safety as well as ours/our pets. But again, they are slumbering in the same room with us.
