Lola had a few accidents along the way which Melinda took in stride. She was much more interested in Lola's well being over any inconveniences. About: I am an avid dog lover. I have had dogs my entire life, everything from small to large dogs. My husband and I work from home so we have all day to love on & snuggle puppers. About: I'm a dog mom through and through, which means I come fully equipped with treats, belly rub expertise, and zero judgment about how many times your pup needs to sniff the same bush. I'm comfortable with everything from 8-week-old puppies to senior dogs (note for senior dogs: they will need to go up stairs). I'll send you an unreasonable number of photos of your dog having the time of their life while they play with my sweet gal, Mocha. Your dog will be spoiled, loved, and probably a little tired by the time you pick them up. I work from home, so your dog is never stuck home alone. They'll have access all day, every day to backyard zoomie sessions in my large, fully-fenced yard, midday sniff adventures, and plenty of couch time in between. Big dogs especially love the backyard! I offer boarding seven days a week and doggy daycare Monday through Friday. Drop-off and pick-up can easily work around your schedule. My home is a dog-friendly zone. The backyard is large and fully fenced. I don't typically use crates. Your dog is free to roam comfortably inside and out, just like they would at home. However, if you would like me to crate them I can. My own friendly dog is part of the package, so your pup will have a built-in buddy to hang out with! I do a slow introduction to make sure the dogs hit it off. As for furniture, I follow your lead! If your dog is used to the couch, they're welcome on mine. If you'd prefer they stay off, I'll happily reinforce that (my dog has already claimed the good cushion anyway). Since I work from home, I'm around to keep an eye on things all day.

About: I've been an animal lover my entire life. Ever since I was a little girl I would bring home injured or stray animals to care for. I've raised an assortment of pets from parakeets, cats, fish, bunnies, chickens, ducks, and many dogs. Our dogs are like our children to us. It's our goal to provide the very best life we could possibly give them with lots of love, structure, exercise, a good healthy diet, and medical attention when required. Any animal that comes in our presence will experience the same treatment. I work full-time remotely. While we don't have a yard per se, we live in the mountains bumped up against BLM land with lots of hiking trails and areas to walk. Our dogs get exercised daily on the trails surrounding our home. With my at-home work schedule, I have the flexibility to take walks for my breaks and lunch hour and to get up and take care of things as needed through out the day. We get up early and go outside immediately so our dogs can relieve themselves then we go in and have breakfast. After breakfast, I start work while the dogs tend to relax on the bed behind me. I will take them out to potty again on my first break then on my lunch hour, we go for a walk through the forest behind the house. They get another potty break on my second break and then another short walk after I sign out of work for the day in the evening time. We free-feed our dogs but if we have other dogs in the house we will adjust the feeding and schedule to the visiting dog(s). We are normally in bed around 10 pm and our dogs are fully on our schedule for sleeping. If we need to step out for a bit, our dogs are good being left alone in the house but we do have a crate if needed for dogs that aren't good being left alone.

About: Animals have been a gift in my life in so many different ways. I've had cats and dogs of my own throughout the years but none presently who live with me, but I do miss them so! I worked in animal care and adoptions at a Humane Society for half a decade and I've worked as a Veterinary Technician at a clinic for a few years as well. House sitting feels much more than just a gig to me, it's truly stepping into the world of the people I'm sitting for and learning how to love and care for their beings, belongings, plants, kitchen things, neighbors, appliances, etc. I do love a good woodstove or fireplace and nothing beats a snuggled up animal by a warm fire with tea. I run my own wellness business as a sound healer so have a flexible schedule and do sessions remotely for clients. I have chunks of flexible time to spend with animals who need a little extra TLC or what have you, which I am so grateful for! I love getting outside for walks and its always nice to have a canine being to enjoy that with. Or, sometimes its nice to have a feline being to hang around with if they are wanting any interaction. I will take on your home as my own for the time that I am there and treat it as such and care for it to the absolute best of my abilities.

About: I am a certified, professional canine obedience trainer and have two fur babies who are my world and they have taught me that there is no greater gift than that of an animal who trusts you to be the best you that you can be in every aspect of your life. I have pet sat for many family members and family friends as well as a number of Rover and private clients. I require meet and greets so that I can answer any questions and or demonstrate my services as well as discuss what may need to be done before, during and after care provided as well as any extracurricular services such as plant care, garbage removal, mail collection and light housework depending on the length of the stay. All is doable so you can be confident that I am the right choice for you, your beloved family members and your home. My schedule includes but isn't limited to the hours of 6PM-7AM as I work outside and all across Denver. So rainy days will most definitely be spent lounging around with your furry family. Some days I may have other obligations however checking in with you and ensuring every furry companion is set and settled while you're away is my top priority. As an individual house sitter who works with both animals and people, it's important to understand that animals can pick up on how they and their environment are being treated just as people can. It is important to always be aware of how everyone (animals too!) expect themselves and their homes to be respected so I take great care in learning everyone individually. As a canine trainer, my aim is to respect the training regiment/schedule and expectations laid out to help our companions live their best life.

About: I have been around dogs since the day I was born. Always living with at least two in my house. Most have been rescues but I have had the opportunity to train some from 8 weeks old. I watch both of my best friends dogs when they go out of town usually for a couple of nights. I love dogs with all my heart. I always walk and care for them no matter whose they are. I’m currently spending time back home and have lots of extra time to help take care of your pets. I’m available most days to either walk, or house sit depending on your needs. I love animals and can help for single to multiple days. I have three dogs that all get along well with other dogs. If you needed me to take care of your pets at my house I have plenty of space and activities. Behind my house is a soccer field as well as a trail up to mesa cortina. Fetch and hikes will be a definite.

About 2 and a half weeks into her stay, Lola's tummy got upset again. Melinda was super communicative and agreed to help out by cooking rice and chicken to alleviate the tummy issues. Lola had a few accidents along the way which Melinda took in stride. She was much more interested in Lola's well being over any inconveniences. I was nervous using Rover because I'd had bad experiences with a pet sitter a number of years ago, but Jenn put me right at ease. The dogs warmed to her very quickly and got plenty of exercise.
