About: I absolutely love caring for animails. It gives me joy like no other activity does. I have volunteered with a local rescue since 2014. Giving back to the pet community will be my number 1 priority while you are away. I work full time. However I am open to time on the wkends. And during the wk I can check in on your loved fur ball before & after I work. I have 1 cat. I care for her compeltly. Litter food vet visits, play time. I have owned dogs in the past & am used to being around them. They give me great joy as well. I am also open to other animail/pet care & not much scares me. About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 9 years old, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. I grew up with the sweetest Saint Bernard and have had 5 adorable kitties over the years. I like to call myself a professional cat entertainer. In 2023, I finally got my own fur baby who is spoiled rotten and my favorite thing in the world. I pet and house sit regularly for my friends and neighbors with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and even some horses. Sometimes that means staying overnight because one pup has bad separation anxiety, so I’m comfortable giving extra love and attention. Cats might be my favorite to work with but I love all cuties just the same! I’m working full time and right now, I get off work around 2:30pm. I am available for 30 minutes during the work day on my lunch break and during the afternoon/ nights. I have a large back yard and fenced in pool area for dogs with lots of room in the house for laying, playing, or exploring. I currently do not own a dog so any visiting dogs should bring with their favorite toys for extra entertainment. I am not living in a development but have plenty of walking trails in close proximity, including Big Boyd’s Tree Preserve, Front Street, Fort Hunter, and Wildwood Park. There are 3 cats living in the house who have been acclimated to dogs. We have separate rooms for visiting cats to stay with extra litter boxes, scratching posts, an abundance of toys, and a few humans to play with and love on.

About: I have owned many dogs- big and small in my life. I’ve had several fish, a chinchilla, and most recently a cat, all who I have adored and cherished. I have loved animals since I was little and find them to be as therapeutic for me as I am for them. Like I mentioned in my headline, pet care is self care; by caring for who I consider members of my family, I am caring for myself. Being in a pet care routine is as easy for me as a self care routine, because to me they are essentially the same. That makes me feel accomplished and rewarded in knowing my pets are happy. Seeing my dogs face while walking him and playing with him brings me contentment and joy. I try to exercise him various times a day, by providing different toys. Even simple things like cleaning my cats litter box and getting her fresh water makes such a difference in our bond. I also take time to engage with my cat by presenting different toys and treats. Recently, I bought a small mesh tent for my cat and evidently, my dog ended up loving it too. This allows them to safely get fresh air without being tied to a leash. Ultimately, it’s about treating my pets with respect, compassion, and patience.

About: I LOVE dogs and cats! Growing up, my family always had big dogs and fluffy cats around the house; so throughout my life I have gained experience caring for puppies and kittens all the way up to seniors. I adore dogs of all sizes, but big dogs will always have a special place in my heart. We owned a Rottie/Lab mix, a Great Dane, an English Mastiff, Boxer, and various Doodle breeds. We also had 3 Ragdoll cats. I currently have 3 Domestic Short and Long haired cats of my own with my fiancé and I love them dearly; but I really miss having a dog around the house. Helping people care for pets on here seemed like the perfect way to help me hang with pups! I frequently assist my friends and family with pet sitting, dog walking, and caring for their animals while they are away. Outside of animals, I work for The Department of State as a Legal Assistant and sit for 8 hours a day at a desk. Taking a dog on a nice walk or having a play session with pets sounds like a very pleasant way for me spend my time after sitting in an office all day. I also love to read, cook/bake, do yoga, play video games, and play softball on my women’s community team! I’m currently working a full time office job from 7:30am to 4:00pm, so I can be available on weekdays any time after 4:30pm or early in the morning . I can be available anytime on weekends with enough notice to plan. As much as I would love to help people board their pets, I can’t given the size of my apartment. My home is just for me and my cats :)
