“Kathleen was so amazing with my boys. She was so caring and always sent me updates and pictures to ensure my boys were okay when I was away. I will definitely be using her again in the future! Thank you so much! 😊”

“I cannot recommend Shyann enough! I had to make a last-minute booking, and they completely exceeded my expectations. Even with the short notice, they insisted on doing a meet-and-greet to make sure my dog was comfortable and that all instructions were clear—a level of professionalism and care I truly didn't expect given the tight timeline. They are reliable, incredibly sweet with my pup, and provided fantastic updates. It is such a relief to find someone so dependable and accommodating. I will absolutely be booking again!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since as early as I can remember. Honestly I get along with animals better then people! We've always had a dog and more recently cats. My in-laws ask for my help when they take a trip and I am always happy to help! Currently I am caring for my kids during most of the day but I am open on evenings and weekends as needed! I'll try to fit anything in that I can! I'll always greet the animals first and make sure they are comfortable with me. Then I check for water and food. Once I make sure those are good we are off for play time or walk time!
“Matthew took such amazing care of my boys! I loved all the pictures he sent on every visit and he definitely went above and beyond to provide the best care and ensure the boys were safely secured at home.”

“We are so grateful for Sadie allowing us to have a FULL day out without a worry about our buddy Dobby. She was even kind enough to come back later in the day when our plans ran longer. He was so well cared for and I am so thankful for Sadie’s attentiveness, promptness, and for snuggling our fur baby. Highly recommend Sadie to help with your furry children!!!!!”

“Jyllian was absolutely amazing as my cat sitter. I was away on an extended trip and was nervous about having to leave my cat for that long. She went above and beyond with updating me and provided very detailed summaries each day along with so many pictures which showed how much love she put into caring for my cat. Not only that, but she is a vet tech so that made me feel even more comfortable in case something went wrong. She truly has the biggest heart for animals and I would very easily recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter! Thank you so much, Jyllian!!!!”

About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. From playful puppies to senior dogs, I’m comfortable and confident handling a wide range of needs. I regularly bathe, feed, and walk not only my own dogs but also those of friends and family. I also have hands-on experience with post-surgery care, so I’m attentive and gentle when it comes to administering medications or helping a dog recover comfortably. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, loved, and at home—even when you’re away. As a teacher, my schedule is very pet-friendly. I’m off during the summer, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to pet care. During the school year, I finish work by mid-afternoon, allowing me to be available for afternoon walks, evening visits, or overnight care. My routine is consistent and reliable, which means your pet will always get the attention and care they need—whether it’s playtime, feeding, or a relaxing walk. In your home, I make sure to respect your space while keeping your pet’s routine consistent. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family, with plenty of room to relax, play, and feel at ease. I also keep pet parents updated with messages and photos, so you can feel confident that your pet is in good hands.

About: Hello! My name is Lauren. I work as a nurse at Hershey Medical part time and I'm looking to take care of pets in my free time! My last dog had diabetes and other health issues so I’m experienced with administering shots and medications. He was also blind so I’m experienced with those pups who cannot see! I fostered kittens and currently have a cat of my own. I also have experience with rabbits and guinea pigs. I will be sure to send pictures of your fur babies while you are away! I'm currently working part time as a nurse so I can provide care to your animal on my days off which will be provided in my availability calendar. Currently, my house is under construction so I cannot board any animals. I can come to your house though to feed, water, play, walk, and snuggle!
About: 🐾 Your pup’s new favorite walking buddy! 🐾 I’m an active, reliable, and big-hearted dog lover who believes every pup deserves plenty of exercise, attention, and belly rubs! Whether your dog loves a neighborhood stroll, a fun adventure on nature trails, or simply some extra playtime and cuddles, I’m here to make sure they have the best time. I’m dependable, attentive, and treat every dog like my own—with lots of love, patience, and care. Let’s get those tails wagging! 🐶💛🌿 I’m an early riser and start my days early, and I’d love to bring your pup with me! My favorite and preferred dog walking times, however, are any time in the evenings! I come supplied with doggie bags and treats! But please let me know if your pup has any allergies. I’ve been caring for my sweet lab, Bella, for almost 10 years. 😊 I can spend as much time as needed to make your dog feel safe and loved!

Siyani provided prompt, great care for our two cats, including one who is a bit of an escape artist. We had no worries while we were away, and the kitties seemed pretty content and everything else in the house was in order. I would definitely recommend her services

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
