Megan provided just adequate service during my business trip. I did receive at least one photo and saw the standard Rover card update during each visit, "pee stop, water break" etc. However, when I got back home to fully assess how the visits went, I was left feeling disappointed and quite frankly a bit scammed. As with any new sitter, I review the pet camera footage to ensure no harm is done to my cat or home. While no harm was seen, I noticed consistently that almost each visit was actually around 10 minutes of service rather than the agreed 30 minutes. A few visits did show around 25-30 minutes of service, yet most visits were barely 10 minutes, despite the Rover cards showing 30 minutes of service was provided. It is incredibly disheartening and dishonest to agree to 30 minutes of service while only actually completing a third of the time and to still receive the full compensation. I'm more frustrated by how my cat did not receive the full time she needed and makes me question the level of care actually provided. This is the first time using Rover I've seen a sitter input times into the cards while in reality that's not what occurred. While I can appreciate that my cat was fed, given water, and had a clean litter box, it does feel like doing the bare minimum. With only 10 minutes of service during most visits, I don't believe my cat was given enough outside time even though that is her main source of enrichment. Based on my overall experience, I cannot in good faith trust Megan C. to properly care for my cat again.
