“I've used Ms Rosa a few times now back to back for vacation and also just for the day when I'm out for a long day. My little Sammy seems to have a great time here, and loves seeing her and her family. He's always happy when I pick him up. I get loads of pics and videos while away.”

About: I've been pet sitting since i was 13, I am currently 19 with a dog and cat of my own! I've taken care of seniors as-well as puppies. I've potty trained, taught tricks, and have done special care when needed. I love to go on long hikes and bring my dog with me! I go on walks about 3 times a day, as my dog is very active. Feel free to ask me questions! I would love to watch your pup. :) I'm available for pet sitting any day of the week at any times! I can handle seniors aswell as active dogs. I would love to spend time with your pup. I have one super friendly dog that loves to play and gets along great with cats. I go on 3 walks a day with my pup. She is very active and friendly. Your pup will be able to relax and also get the outside time they need. I have a big fenced in backyard perfect for running around and playing.

“This was my first time leaving my 8yo pitbull lab mix Maui Wowie with a non-family member and it went off without a hitch! Sandra has a fantastic rural property that any dog will love. Maui LOVED hanging outside and the fun day-to-day activities Sandra and her family provided. Sandra treated my dog just like family.”

“Victoria was amazing! She cared for our dog Chloe with so much love, as if she were her own. She’s kind, responsible, and truly loves animals. Our whole family is beyond grateful — Chloe was happy, safe, and so well looked after. We highly recommend her!”

“Rodger did great with our two one-year-old cats. He was super patient and understanding when one of them took longer to open up. Super responsive and consistent with sending updates. Will definitely rebook in the future!”

“Michelle is the best! She gave us daily progress reports and pictures. She took care of Papi like family. She even brushed his teeth. Papi is usually afraid of everything and everyone, but warmed up to Michelle and her dog, Emmy, quickly. She gave us such peace of mind while we were away. I highly recommend her and will use her again.”

About: I bring immense experience to watching pups. Trail runs, neighborhood walks, or couch hangs — I can meet them where they are most comfortable. With a part-time work from home schedule, I’ll be giving lots of belly rubs and attention all day long. Im currently working part-time from home with a very flexible schedule — I have lots of time during the day to dedicate towards walks, play, and activities. Our house has a big back yard on a quiet neighborhood street. If you’re lodging with us, my sweet 7 year old pup Barley will be waiting at home to keep your pup company while they’re with us.

About: I've taken care of a few different types of dogs but mostly pitbulls. I love to play, if they have high-energy or snuggle and hang if thats their vibe. It'd be great to take them to a dog park with my pup or just out and about. I have my business in home so I'm close by with a flexible schedule. I have a good amount of time to spend in the morning and most days I don't work to late. I take my dog on long walks in the morning and some times to my parents to run in their yard. Every other weekend we're pretty open so we take our pup to a dog park or go for scenic walk and spend extra time outside if its nice. My dog takes long walks in the neighborhood in the am. During the week or weekend I'll take my dog to my parents yard which isn't far or out to a dog park to socialize. Gets fed at 7:30am, outside at about 9am to 10:30am and fed at 5pm out 9pm. She is crated at night and no longer is able to go up and down stairs safely because she has balance issues.
“Brian was a miracle worker! He convinced my curmudgeonly little dog to get along with a big German Shepherd puppy. I never thought I'd see the day. Bennett was happy when I came to get him and slept well after all of the great interaction with the other dogs. Thanks Brian! ”

“Very welcoming & made my fur baby feel right at home! Communication was prompt and received updates with photos. Above & beyond service. Will definitely book again and refer to others. Thank you!”

“Kelly was great! The property Leo stayed with her was big and spacious with lots of space to run around. her dogs adapt well to other animals and Leo soon became part of the pack. He was happy and healthy when we picked him up and didn't see nervous or traumatized at all. Kelly was great about sending picture and updates to us while we were away.”

“Laura continues to take great care of our Australian labradoodle, Finn. He loves her house, where he gets plenty of exercise and playtime with other dogs, as well as a morning walk and lots of cuddles. Finn doesn't like to be away from us, but at Laura's house he heads right inside and doesn't look back. It's comforting to know that Finn is well cared for and happy, basically having his own vacation while we are on vacation. You can just tell how much Laura loves dogs!! And Finn loves Laura. We'll be back!”

“Dana and Jonathan were amazing with our dog Bear. They arranged a meet and greet before booking the boarding, and were kind and welcoming. They took care of our Bear and sent us pictures and videos while we were away. I can’t speak highly enough of their service and care for our dog!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
