About: I had Chows as a kid growing up and I've had my current Chow for 8 years. I love dogs and animals in general and understand the importance of having someone reliable to call on to be able to take care of them. I'll show your furbabies the love they deserve and make sure they're looked after while you're away. I'm available to take care of your pet as needed. I'd love to arrange a meet & greet to get to know your pet in their environment and discuss expectations. My goal is to make sure your pet is happy and well taken care of while you're away. Let me know their feeding and activity schedule and your instructions for keeping their area clean and tidy.

Taylor was great working with our dog who get very anxious meeting new people. She did everything possible to make our dog more comfortable and it worked out great. She was able to take a nice walk with our dog and worked with our dog to make her more comfortable. I would recommend Taylor to anyone looking for services on Rover.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 10 years old, pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors who trusted me with their furry family members. In addition to years of hands-on experience, I also spent 4 years working in the veterinary field as a veterinary assistant/technician, giving me the knowledge and confidence to care for pets of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. Additionally I have fostered for local rescues, litters of puppies to senior pups, all with individual needs. Whether your pet needs extra patience, medication administration, senior support, or just lots of love and attention, I’m committed to providing safe, compassionate, and reliable care every step of the way. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time for lots of snuggles and walks. I am able to stop by for quick check-ins or stay for a few hours to get those afternoon zoomies out. I have experience with dogs and cats of all temperaments and breeds, allowing me to calmly and comfortably crate, medicate or walk pets. Having the knowledge and hands-on experience allows me to stay calm in any situation which helps your pets feel safe.

About: I grew up in a household full of animals, so I’m used to some chaotic pet energy. :) I like to play and create a bond with pets. My main focus is making them feel comfortable with the experience. I work full time, but I’m home often so I can work around my schedule when needed. I enjoy just hanging out with the pets but I can also go on an adventure with them if needed to get that energy out! I’ve had many puppies and kittens in my day so I know how to work with them and help potty train if needed. Right now I have two small girl dogs who are super friendly and just want more friends in their lives! They love cats and dogs alike.

About: Hi friend! I am an animal lover through and through and, as a freelancer new to the Bay Area, I’d love to better utilize my flexibility by being a compassionate resource to those pups who need some extra love, attention, support, exercise or fresh air when you’re simply not as available as you wish you could be. I have been entrusted to dogsit for several friends pups (of all sizes) and was lucky enough to share 13 years with my dog Gunther before he went to heaven. I look forward to lightening your load and showing your pet the same love and attention I’d show my own! Availability flexible for now, may be more restricted in the future. I look forward to meeting your pup, please do not hesitate to ask me if you have any questions at all. ♥️

Morgan was good enough to stop by to do a meet and greet with my dog to make sure that they got along before watching him, which I very much appreciated. I highly recommend Morgan!!

About: We are a military family and have three children (youngest is 15). We live on 41 acres, mostly all forest. We own four horses, two barn cats, two goats, four sheep, a bunch of chickens, a bearded dragon, an house cat, and three small dogs so we have a large variety of animal experience. We have an abundance of wild life that visit us almost daily which is always exciting. We absolutely love animals and spoil them to no end here. If you are just looking for a dog walker or someone to drop in at your home, I can certainly do that at least twice a day where needed. I just ask that your pet be leash trained beforehand. I am comfortable with a wide variety of animals in all different sizes so do not hesitate to ask me about other animals besides cats and dogs. Hope to hear from you soon! I am currently working part time as a large animal veterinarian assistant but there is someone at the house most the day. We can accommodate just about any schedule within reason. We have a small fenced back yard and three small dogs for playmates (the cat mostly hides 95% of the day). The rest of our property is secluded in the woods. Probably best to actively be on tick meds as even if we never go in to the woods, the woods do completely surround us and we have found a few ticks on the dogs in our two and a half years here so far. Kennel time as needed only, we prefer “down time” of just lounging around freely whenever possible, but do require animals to be kennel trained just in case something urgent or emergent arises.

Able to administer medications, CPR, and handle emergencies. True animal lover. I will treat your pets like they are my own. About: I am a reliable, responsible, and caring pet owner with hands-on experience caring for two dogs and one cat. Through daily pet care, I have developed a strong understanding of animal needs, including feeding schedules, exercise, grooming, administering basic care, cleaning up after pets, and recognizing changes in behavior that may indicate stress or illness. As a teacher on summer break, I am looking for a reliable source of income while school is out. My background in education reflects my patience, responsibility, and commitment to caring for others. I have experience caring for my own pets—two dogs and one cat—and understand the importance of consistency, trust, and attention to detail. Pet owners can count on me to be dependable, communicative, and attentive to their pets’ needs. I am excited to spend my summer helping families by providing quality pet care and companionship for their furry family members. 🐾 I have experience caring for my own two dogs and one cat, so I understand the importance of maintaining routines and making pets feel comfortable in a new environment. My resident cat is accustomed to other animals, and I carefully monitor all introductions and interactions to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. If needed, I can also provide separate spaces for pets that prefer a quieter environment.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
