I grew up on a farm so I do have experience with a wide array of animal types! I am comfortable around large and small animals of all kinds and will treat them like my own pets, who I consider part of my family. I know animal first aid, cpr and the Heimlich maneuver. About: I have several years of experience providing dependable and compassionate pet care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I have cared for both small and large adult dogs through regular walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, ensuring they receive the exercise, attention, and care they need. About: I’ve had experience since I was born but I’ve been more attentive and actually working to take care of them since 13. I’m 18 now, I have watched scared dogs, big dogs, friendly dogs, jumping dogs, sleepy dogs, small dogs, and same goes for cats! I have 4 dogs currently, and I freed them and take them out all the time, so extra dogs wouldn’t make any difference I would just do the same with them as I do with my dogs! They would have all permissions as my dogs! I will take them out, check them for tics or anything hurting them if they show it. Feed them obviously! And give them treats on certain occasions, or whenever you say I can give them. I take my time with them and love them with my whole heart! Your dog will be treated exactly how I treat mine!

I love exotic animals (and farm animals) and I also offer petsitting services for these friends, just send me a message and I can make you a custom booking. I can give any medications to your pets, including pills, injections, and topical medication for no extra charge. All medication administration is including in my base rates. I have experience giving insulin, chemo, daily fluids, and many other medications. I love watching elderly animals and I can provide any needed medical care. I live and work in Maryland but I am happy to housesit and do drop-in visits and walks for anyone in Maryland, Virginia, or DC. My service area is wide and I don't mind driving a bit to get to your house. I have military base access and I'm happy to watch animals living on military bases in the area. I worked as a veterinary technician for over 5 years before I started working in human medicine. I worked at a veterinary hospital in Georgia for over five years while I completed college. I frequently petsat during high school and college and cared for several animals that were medically fragile. I enjoy bottle-feeding puppies and kittens in my free time. I love all types of animals and can provide advanced medical care to boarding animals. I have worked with all sizes, shapes, and types of animals at the vet clinic and have had many exotic animals of my own. I currently have 4 dogs, 3 birds, and 2 hedgehogs. My husband and I live with our 4 dogs in La Plata, Maryland. We have a large fenced in yard and plenty of space to play in. We have 2 doves in a birdcage at home but they will not interfere with the dogs. We are unable to host cats in our home due to an allergy but I am available to petsit for cats in your home. My husband watches our animals while I am away housesitting, they would not come with me to any of my bookings. I work about 15 hours out of the home each week but other than that I am always home. I have 4 dogs of my own, 3 birds, and 2 hedgehogs so taking care of animals is something I enjoy doing. I recently adopted 2 hedgehogs and I hope to keep growing my animal family in the future. I don't have kids and my husband also assists with animal care when needed (the dogs are my kids let's be honest). When I am boarding dogs at my home, they are one of my family and do the same things my dogs are doing. I take everyone outside frequently and I am always throwing a ball or playing tug of war with someone. If I'm napping, the dogs are on the bed with me napping too. Usually everyone is pretty happy to be lounging on the couch or following me around the house while I do my chores. I have a large fenced in yard that I prefer to use to exercise dogs and take them to potty. I am happy to walk dogs around the neighborhood if they need the extra exercise but I do require that the dog has a well fitting harness. Some dogs are master escape artists from their collars/harnesses (little houdinis), so if this is the case for your dog we will be playing inside my fenced in yard instead. My fence is about 6 feet tall so if your dog is capable of jumping higher than this please let me know when booking.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals and feel very comfortable handling pets with different needs and personalities. I currently work in recreational therapy twice a week, which has helped me develop patience, responsibility, and strong attention to detail skills that carry over into providing safe and attentive pet care. As an online college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time, consistency, an supervision they deserve. At home, our family has five dogs, so I am very familiar with managing multiple pets at once and maintaining consistent schedules. In addition to daily care, I have experience with overnight dog sitting that includes week-long stays where I handled feeding, walks, playtime and managing pet's normal routines. I have cared for puppies, senior dogs, and cats and I understand how to adjust care depending on energy level and age. I have also taken care of chickens while house sitting, so I am comfortable with a variety of animals beyond just dogs and cats. I am able to drive, which allies me to be available for drop ins, walks, and emergencies if needed. For my college classes I do not have to be on any type of zoom, so I do my course work at my own pace. I provide care in my clients home so pets can stay in a familiar, low-stress environment and maintain their normal routine. I follow all care instructions including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any specific preferences the owner provides. Safety is my top priority. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure and keep pets aware from anything that may be unsafe. I work to build trust with both owners and pets by being consistent, patient, and respectful of each pet's personality. I also have reliable transportation, so if an emergency does arise I can provide additional needs.

I currently train my dog in emotional and psychiatric care as she is training to be a service animal. I am currently working a part-time job and do online school so don’t worry about me leaving your pets high and dry!! I have two pets of my own so I know how important attention is. I’m available whenever you need me I live in a dog friendly neighborhood where all the dogs (and dog owners) know each other. I have a large yard and live only a couple minutes away from a park. I can easily crate your pet if necessary and have a super shy dog that won’t bother yours at all. We have plenty of things to keep your pet entertained including a splash pad and plenty of toys

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of pets primarily the most experience with dogs since I was 13 years old. I’ve cared for a variety of breeds from puppies to senior dogs. Additionally I’ve also fostered and cared for cats when friends and neighbors have been away on vacation. I’ve been lucky to also own two dogs of my own, most recently Puddles. I have experience with crate training but with Puddles I took him out on walks 2-3x a day and also let him have yard access with a secured fence 2-3x a day.
