About: I’ve had many experiences with pet sitting dogs and cats. Family, neighbors and friends trust me to take care of their pets. I usually do pet sitting every summer. I am currently unemployed and there's no better way to spend time than take care of animals. I am available any time you need me. What ever you need me to do for your pet | can do, no problem. My schedule is very flexible and I can be there for them.
“Aleyah is awesome because she is always willing to accommodate me and Samone with our time frame. Nothing is never really set with me because my husband has a crazy work schedule”

“Amber was great. She gave me a time that would work for her because she couldn’t do my time and turns out that worked too. I’m a dummy and thought I updated my address so it sent her to the wrong house and she still went to my right address to leave the pups out. Luna and Kallie look like they had a great time and can definitely trust her with my girls!”

About: I had Chows as a kid growing up and I've had my current Chow for 8 years. I love dogs and animals in general and understand the importance of having someone reliable to call on to be able to take care of them. I'll show your furbabies the love they deserve and make sure they're looked after while you're away. I'm available to take care of your pet as needed. I'd love to arrange a meet & greet to get to know your pet in their environment and discuss expectations. My goal is to make sure your pet is happy and well taken care of while you're away. Let me know their feeding and activity schedule and your instructions for keeping their area clean and tidy.
“She took excellent care of our chickens while we were away. She was always prompt and on time, and it was clear that she was experienced with chicken care. Our chickens can be easily startled, but she handled them well and everything went smoothly. She did a great job cleaning the coop and kept us updated throughout our trip. She was also quick to respond to any questions we had and communicated very well. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable chicken care, and I will definitely book her again in the future.”

“Morgan was a great! Morgan was easy to communicate and receptive to our pets needs. He sent us updates and photos during each drop in visit. We will contact Morgan again for future visits and would recommend him to our friends or family looking for a sitter.”

“Trisha was great and I would absolutely recommend!!! She took care of our 3 indoor cats and 1 outdoor cat while we were out of town for almost a week. 2 of them are seniors, 1 of which has kidney disease, so I worry about leaving them. I received pictures of the cats twice a day and the litter boxes were so clean when we got home. I feel relieved knowing we have someone like Trisha to care for our kitties when we have to go away!”

“Lorrin did everything I asked to a T. She is also very flexible with my scheduled visits, which I appreciate. My boy loves spending all the time he gets to have with her. We are very grateful to have her around.”

About: I live on a 300 acre farm which has given me experience with all types of animals. I am also a veterinary technician and have experience treating all types of dogs, cats, & exotics. I have 2 well-socialized basset hounds that are the highlight of my day. There is plenty of room to roam and play. Can offer trail walks / runs, fetch, belly rubs, swimming (if Owner allows), couch time, and toys & treats. Comfortable with the extra care senior dogs require. Happy to accept puppies too. Able to administer medications, CPR, and handle emergencies. True animal lover. I will treat your pets like they are my own. Your pets would not be left alone for more than 2 hours - I work 3 mi. from my home so would be able to pop home anytime to tend to your pets. I have a 1-acre fenced in area and 300 acres of farmland to roam. Happy to crate your dogs if requested; otherwise they would be allowed in the home freely.
“Trina helped us check in on our cat, and responded promptly to my request. She’s professional, courteous, and maintained communication throughout the whole process. She gave our cat some treats, food, checked on her water, and most importantly she gave her some love 😻. My cat enjoyed Trina’s company and was PURRRing on the phone !🧡 Trina was kind enough to offer to check in on my backyard hens when I mentioned that I was little worried about them too. We appreciate all your help and the peace of mind you gave us while we’re away. 🙏”

“I am very pleased with Becky's services while I was out of town. Over 3 visits she engaged in a variety of activities with my dog. Becky also provided detailed summaries of each visit. I've already booked her again for another upcoming trip.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
