“Thank you for the time attention and walks. You can gave Alani while we were gone. I appreciate the photo updates and some of the silly and funny things she was doing.”

“Oh. My. God. I am not being dramatic when I say Monica is the best sitter I have EVER met. This woman went all out, above and beyond in every way. She sent me pictures of my cats every day to make sure I was in the loop, she watered my plants for me during the heat wave, and she left my home so pristine it was like I had cleaned before I left. She even washed the sheets and made the bed for me so I wouldn’t have to do that when I got home. My cats are happy, obviously well cared for, and I think they already wish I hadn’t come home so they could have her for a bit longer. I cannot recommend Monica enough. I am literally so overwhelmed with gratitude and relief. I hope she will sit for me in the future. 100/10!”

“Kristen was amazing while looking after our two fur babies for a week. Attentively, she noticed our older lab had a limp and kept us informed of his progress. She was kind enough to send videos and photos throughout her stay. We truly appreciated how she looked after our dogs and our home as if it was hers.”

“Christy was great with my dogs. She made me feel comfortable leaving them with her and she took them on multiple walks while I was out of town. I definitely recommend her for great care for your pets!”

“Angelina housesat my three dogs and did a great job. My dogs were happy and there were zero accidents on my carpet from my one high maintenance pup who doesn't like to go outside when it's cold, which I appreciated. She communicated well also.”

“Molly did a wonderful job with my little guy. He is a little escape artist when I leave him for too many days. She did everything I suggested to keep him in his yard. She also keep my home in perfect order.”

About: I've worked with many breeds of dogs. Mostly small to mid-size dogs with a variety of traits. Mostly working dogs namely Blue Heelers & Huskys. I tend to live an active lifestyle and that means hiking/walking/and lots of exercise. Rest assured both me and your pooch will be getting a good workout! In the past I've facilitated overnight lodging for dogs, and temporary stays of up to a few days. Be noted I do not currently have a large open or fenced in yard. I work with neighbors and friends pets on quite a regular basis! I regularly feed, train, walk & care for pets when away or on business! I work from home so this environment provides a perfect spot for pets to be nurtured & played with consistently! I always check prior to booking any special exercise and or dietary needs of your pet. Ensuring door remain locked when inside and timer's are set for when pets receive food upon client preference. Safety is of the upmost priority, so I will discuss a full plan and schedule so you know where you pup is and his progress while away. I will send regular check in photos to provide accountability for myself and the clients well being.
About: I've grown up with dogs in the home and currently have a short haired border collie and a mini golden doodle. I'm an avid walker so I'll be sure to take your pup on longs walks that enhance their health and mood! I also have experience caring for small animals like hamsters and gerbils. While I've never had a cat, I get along with them quite well and have cared for them many times for freinds and family that go out of town. I have a very flexible schedule, with Sunday being the only day I prefer to not work, but am willing to on occasion. My only other schedule restriction is the evenings around dinner time, so 4-6pm ish, I try to do dinner with my partner. I'm able to work early mornings or late evenings, whatever suits you and your pups needs! I'll do my best to follow whatever routines your dog is used to, and if I'm caring for them in your home I'll do so while maintaining respect for your space and privacy. If there are any accidents or messes, I'll be sure to clean them up and notify you if there's any unusual pup behavior or property damage.
“Jessica was great! Very communicative and went the extra mile with check out - started the dishwasher, took the trash cans out for pickup, picked up dog poop, and the house was super clean when we came back! The dogs were calm and we felt they did great with house sitting versus boarding them. Will 100% book again very soon! Thank you again, this was a great experience for us.”

“Joshua took great care of my dogs and spent the night with them while we were away. He was very good with communication and updates with photos. One of my dogs needed medical attention and Joshua took him to the vet. We appreciate all that he did.”

“Rebecca was amazing with our 2 pups. Our older dog is high anxiety and she looked very comfortable and content being with Rebecca. Looking forward to using Rebecca again when the need arises!”

“Aurora did a fantastic job while I was out of the country. She watched my house and my dog. She communicated often and sent me pictures so I could relax knowing my pup and home were in good hands.”
“Jackie did an excellent job with our senior Lab. He loved her from the moment he met her. She sent us lots of pictures and stayed in communication keeping us posted on all his adventures. At one point my husband said “he is having so much fun he may not want to leave”! Additionally, she did a great job watering all of my plants and vegetables during a hot spell. They all looked better than when we left. We arrived home to a spotless house, a beautiful thank you note, fresh baked cookies and sourdough bread! I would highly recommend Jackie to care of your precious pets!”

“Livvi was very dependable. We first met with her about a month before she would be staying with Sebastian and she came over a second time, just before Christmas. When we came home, everything was just as we left it. If you need consistent updates such as pictures or have specific instructions on care I would recommend that you include this on a list. All of the things that we want can be a bit much to keep track of otherwise ( : We highly recommend Livvi!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Huetter
Monica was absolutely wonderful! She communicated daily with lots of photos and updates. She was respectful of our home and we found it as clean as we left it (which is no small feat with two long hair dogs!!) our pups were happy and healthy when we arrived back home. I hope she continues dog sitting so we can use her next time!

There is not enough words to describe Emilyanne. She has a great passion for her work and how well she cares for her clients home and pets. She is a true professional and gave us great piece of mind that our dogs were well cared for. The daily updates and photos allowed us to enjoy our time away even more. We will be using her again and highly recommend her.

We are so blessed to have found Rose to care for both of our special needs kitties. She provided exemplary care for them and our home while we were away for a week. Whatever your fur babies unique needs for care she will meet and exceed it, she is a gem. We love Rose!

Jaycee was absolutely wonderful! She stayed at my home to care for my two dogs and two cats, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She sent frequent updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. The animals were clearly happy, well-loved, and well taken care of—she even took the dogs on walks. When I returned, the house was clean, and everything was in great condition. I would highly recommend Jaycee to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring pet sitter. I will definitely be booking with her again!

Megan was terrific. We came home from a 10 day trip and everything looked great when we got back and our dog was happy and well cared for. Megan was also very responsive to messages and even sent us photos of our dog when we checked in. We will definitely ask her again.

Rainie house sat for me with my 2 kittens, she took better care of them than even I would! I could see from all of the pictures she sent, my cats were happy and comfortable immediately with her. Rainie is a true animal lover and i could see she loved my cats as if they were her own! And not only did my cats not miss me at all because of all the attention they got with Rainie, I also came home to a house cleaned way better than I clean it! 1000/10 recommend Rainie. So happy I found her!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Huetter on Rover is $49.95 per night (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Huetter walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Huetter maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Huetter choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Huetter. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
