Doggie cuddles and kisses wanted!
Hi! I'm Shachel. I have grown up having dogs my whole life (as well as some other animals too). I have done some volunteering for a few years with the Kootenai Humane Society. I was involved in outreach events where we would take dogs that were available for adoption out into the community to show them off and find a forever home! When I was going to college, I didn’t get as much of a chance to do the volunteer work that I used to which was hard until I started Rover in 2017. I have experience with puppies as we had six in our house at one point! I have senior dog care and dogs with disabilities experience as well. I do not do boarding at my house, as our two rescue dogs do not like strangers.

I care for pets in your home by feeding, watering, walking and playing with them. I also cuddle on the couch (if that is allowed) or will cuddle on the floor. I will tell them what good babies they are and how handsome or pretty they are. I sometimes sing to the pets if they are anxious or sad as well.

My pup loves Shachel. His happiness when she arrives is the only affirmation I need that I’ve booked the right person. Appreciate her calm demeanor and willingness to follow through on this fussy mom’s many requests. 🩷
As always we are SO impressed with Shachel and the level of care she offers our pup and our home. Our house is always in tip top shape upon our return and our boy is always clearly cared for and loved on. This is our 4th (maybe 5th) time booking Shachel and she is always our number 1 choice! Highly recommend!!
We are so grateful for Shachel’s wonderful care of our pets while we were out of the country for two weeks. We received regular photos/updates, and she even purchased some cat litter when we ran out unexpectedly. Our pets were happy and healthy when we returned and our home was clean. Thank you, Shachel!!
Shachel was wonderful. Toby was a happy dog while I was away. She took very good care of him. He’s not an easy dog to please. I do think that dogs recognize and trust good people. I highly recommend Shachel to care for your dog. Apologies for this tardy review. I have been ill since arriving home.
This was our second home sitting with Shachel. We received check in photos each day and the house was reset and tidy for us upon returning. Thanks Shachel!

Programa
I graduated in 2022 from college. Now my schedule has most week days, nights and weekends available. I am currently doing Rover full time and I plan to do Rover, if not full time, then at least part time for the foreseeable future. I may need to leave for a little while during the stay for appointments and such, but otherwise my schedule is open and flexible.
