She was great with Lilly. Lilly immediately took to her and was so happy to go for a walk. I fully recommend Alissa. If we ever come back to the area we would book with her again.”

About: Professionally trained dogs and managed a daycare with a facility for 5 years. I now work in the corporate world but work from home part of that time. I have continued my education through seminars and workshops so that I can carry on my passion for dogs. I know how it can be to find a trusted pet sitter, or to know your pets need a break while you’re at work, so I’d love to help where possible. Why not use my knowledge, and my love for animals and the outdoors to help ?! I work full time but I have a great yard for dogs and even have a separate spot for different dogs to go if they want to be left alone. I love exercise so if you’d like drop ins or walks I’m happy to play with your dog for a bit, take them for a walk, or just give them some love and potty time. Let me know what your dog likes and we’ll make sure it happens! On days that I work from home I like to get out for a walk and training with my own pups. I’m happy to use my knowledge and experience to help other dog owners with their pets too! I have a fenced in yard and I make sure dogs are secured by leash or long line if we are not in a secure area.

“Liz did a great job with our boy, Churro! He loves Liz and her gentle nature. She did exactly as we asked and more. She played with Churro so he wouldn’t be so antsy when we got home which was very nice. And she stayed around and gave him a treat stick! We will definitely be using Liz in the future.”

About: I’ve had plenty of experience working with dogs of all sizes since I was 18. I have a passion for it! I would love to help you and your fur baby! whether that’s taking them on a walk or checking in on them. however I can help is what i’ll do! I’m about to start going back to school so i will have free time to walk your pets and to give them all the attention they need during the day! I have pets of my own so I understand how hard it is to leave them throughout the week! I want to help ease those nerves and give your pets the best time while you are away! plenty of belly rubs and cuddles. I can send updates to you when I am with them!

“Dana has taking care of our 5 month old puppy for us twice a week at lunch time. She always shows up on time(usually early). We get lots of update pictures and a detailed report after every visit so I know he was well cared for. He always seems very happy in the pictures she sends. She follows all of our instructions and I always come home to find my home exactly as I had left it that morning. Dana is very responsive on the app which makes scheduling and coordinating easy. We are happy we found someone we trust to give Our puppy the best mid day crate breaks . We will continue to use Dana and recommend her to our friends.”

“Delia was very communicative and took so many pictures for me. As a first time Rover user this was such a good experience and I would definitely go back to Delia for any pet needs 🙂”

About: As a mom of 5 teenagers, I often prefer dogs to people! (Though I am sure my girl dog, Harley, is picking up some attitude from them!) I’ve had dogs most of my life, and I have often cared for my friends and family’s pets, as well. I currently have three dogs, including a 15-year old Yorkie. Experienced with feeding, giving medicine, crates, walking, play, and, of course, petting and loving! I’m currently off for the summer, so I have lots of time to help with your dog(s)! Walking, playing, feeding, keeping them company - I am happy to make it work! I understand the importance of consistency and schedules, so I am happy to follow your rules and preferences for your dog. While I will love them as if they were my own, I won’t return them as if I sent them to my Grandma’s to be spoiled! I believe in positive reinforcement, treats if you do them, lots of love and positive words, playtime, and meeting them where they’re at.

About: I got my first dog when I was in 3rd grade and couldn't imagine life without them now. I spent the last 10 years working with animals as well as having a full house at home. Both my dogs, champ and Oliver, I raised from 8 weeks old and did all their training myself. I am a stay at home mom so it's very easy to fit in providing the excellent care for your fur babies to my schedule! My son (Born in May) will be with me some days so I do ask that your dog be baby friendly (He isn't going to be on the ground yanking on your dog but we obviously don't want to stress your dog out or have any aggression, having him with me doesn't effect the attention or care I provide) I can do anything needed, whether it's basic a stop during the day or if you need more specific detailed care like medicine administered. We will adjust my care routine to the needs of your fur baby.

About: I have a senior dog with epilepsy who needs special feeding care and long stimulating walks. Along with two cats I rescued off the street. I'm currently a college student with my summer off. Learning the in's and outs of the new city I will be calling home. My current schedule has me set for Tuesday and Wednesday off while my shifts vary through the week so accommodations are also able to be made for other days I check the weather before I walk my dog to make sure he is dressed appropriately for the elements. Making sure his harness, leash, and treat bag are ready for our adventure! While my cats have a clean litterbox every day.

About: I have been taking care of both cats and dogs since I was a child. Now, living on my own, I am excited to meet and spend time with more furry friends! I am currently employed but have plenty of time to spend with your pet. Any chance I get, I will be hanging out with the little one. I have a balcony that can be used for certain dogs and ample space in my apartment that should suit the needs of any dog or cat.

About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

About: In my house, our pets are our family and they rule the house. My goal as a pet sitter is to provide animals with the best care and put owners at ease while they’re away. I have found a passion for caring for others’ animals which started many years ago when i began volunteering. From volunteering, I have experience with many different breeds and sizes of both dogs and cats and I also have experience administering medication, taking care of dogs with special needs, and LOTS of drool! By word of mouth, I have gained many clients in my area and continue to provide the best care I can for every family and their furry friends! I am currently a sophomore at Siena College. Therefore, while classes are in session, I stick to weekends only. In the summertime, I am available every day of the week and I typically work 4-6 hour days. Keeping your pets in your home while you are gone will ease their anxiety (as well as yours) and provide the best level of comfort for them. I offer the in-home care as well as dog walking and occasional drop-ins!

She has never been without a dog of her own, and a big lover and adopter of all dogs - young and old - just looking to give them lots of snuggles and their best life!
