About: I’ve had pets and taken care of them since I was a kid. I have also taken care of the pets of friends and neighbors. Everyone I has been very happy with the care their fur babies received! I currently work from home and am flexible with my availability. I am available for drop in visits and walks throughout the day as well as more continuous care, depending on the situation. About: I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by furry family members. I’ve had a variety of different dog breeds — especially those labeled “aggressive.” Because of this, I know every dog has a story and is capable of love regardless of how they’re stereotyped. All animals deserve the same love and kindness as I would give to my very own. I have some experience volunteering at my local humane society & dog sitting for family members & friends. I have no problem tailoring to your animals’ needs and I will treat them with the same love, respect, and adoration that I have for my own fur babies. While seeking a job, my schedule is mostly flexible with the exception of some time to take care of my own dog. During the school year, I am a junior accounting student at the University of Northern Iowa. As my schedule gets busier, I am a great communicator and will dedicate the time & space to care for your pets or redirect you if I cannot give my all for your pets. When caring for your pet I expect to find food with instructions (feeding time, how much food, etc.), treats & how many they can have, toys or puzzles, and any other equipment you want me to use when looking after your furry friend. With my cats health concerns, I have given compounded oral medications, pills, and transdermal medications. I am comfortable giving your pet medications as well. About: Hey I'm Syd! I've always had a big heart for animals! I think my family started taking notice when I kept my walmart goldfish alive for 10 years! I recently had to put my childhood cat down and am looking to love on pets to fill the void. My friend began pet sitting on the rover app and when she moved away I took over one of her clients. (Who you will probably notice in most my pics!) We love going on walks, going for pup cup runs, going to grooming appointments together, and even going to the store once and awhile together to pick out new toys. I can quite confidently say I see him as a friend and love taking him to as many event as possible! My friends always ask if he can come to one of our favorite events, tailgating! I am a full time college student at UNI and work part time in retail. I almost always can spend the night if need be and come to the home for potty breaks as needed. I've lived in the same neighborhood for almost my whole life and feel very comfortable taking strolls around the neighborhood. My mom works from home and is almost always around. We live less than a mile away from the dog park and near a beautiful nature reserve and trail we frequent often :)
About: I've lived with cats and worked with dogs my whole life. From bathing my grandma's dog to walking pit bulls at the shelter, animals have always been a part of my life. Over the summer I'm looking for work wherever I can take it but mostly open. In the school year I am usually never gone more than 3 hours. I live in a pet friendly basement apartment with air conditioning. There is space for a kennel and other supplies if needed. It's not gigantic is very clean and the complex has a bark park.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
