About: Graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in biology with an emphasis in zoology! As of now I am working full time at Eurofins, but can't help but miss the animal interaction. Previously I worked as a Vet Assistant and also have prior pet sitting and dog walking experience. I have had very minor experience in training/ working with goats through my time in college. My passion is working with animals no matter what species! I also have experience with reptiles through my time as a reptile keeper intern at Rolling Hills Zoo in Salina, Kansas! I have two cats and two dogs of my own. I would love to get to know more about you and your fur baby!:) I work full time from 8-4/5 everyday. I will have plenty of time for pet care in the evening and I will alternate weeks of boarding care vs in home pet sitting. I have a fenced in yard for pups, although it is fenced I never leave pups unattended! In my house I have 2 cats that are very use to dogs and a 3 year old son. So dogs for boarding need to be cat and child friendly. I am able to follow any care plan you have and meet needs such as dietary instructions and medications that may be needed.

About: Hey I'm Syd! I'm a recent UNI graduate with degrees in Criminal Justice + Public Administration. During this season of life I’ve been able to embrace two of my favorite things: pet care + travel! As an avid traveler myself, I recognize the importance of trustworthy pet care. This is why I prioritize honest and reliable communication with pet owners. Going into my last year of college, I launched an in-home pet sitting business serving the Cedar Valley called Traveling Tails Pet Sitting. Traveling Tails allowed me to grow my own pet care experience and also mentor the 7 other sitters that make up our amazing team! One of my most rewarding pet care experiences was when I stayed with a very timid rescue dog named Coco. Coco was very untrusting at first and would not let me near her. However after giving her time and building trust by hand feeding her, we quickly became friends. I loved watching Coco break out of her shell and feel right at home until her family returned! I’m in a transitional season of life at this time which has allowed me to collaborate with owners to create the best schedule for their pets and their needs. I've lived in the same neighborhood for almost my whole life and feel very comfortable taking strolls around the neighborhood. My mom works from home and is almost always around. We live less than a mile away from the dog park and near a beautiful nature reserve and trail we frequent often :)
About: We have been taking care of pets for the past 8 years, we live on the outskirts of town on a farm so your loved one will have plenty of room for walks & gator rides! We have 4 corgis of our own as well as cattle, goats, sheep, & chickens! There is so much room to run and we take pride in giving your pet the experience of a lifetime! We recently remodeled the garage next to home into a kennel facility as well. This is great for some privacy while eating & sleeping! It is also heated! We understand that pets can be nervous, so this serves as a great spot to get comfortable! We can take care of your fur babies on weeks days & weekends with short notice & everything in between! We have three extremely friendly corgis, who love to play & snuggle! We are able to accommodate any times that are needed! I stay home with our little one so my schedule is flexible to fit your needs! We do have a kennel set-up so that your furbaby can feel it has a space of its own but we also have open doors when it comes to our home! We want your pet to feel the most comfortable during their stay with us!
About: Like most grandkids, I spent a lot of my time growing up at my grandparents house. Therefore, I was a huge help with my grandparents dog breeding business. From birth all the way till their training certification I was there! I am currently a full time nursing student! However, 3/4 classes are online; so I would love to fill all that extra time with your fur babies! I do live in an apartment that does allow pets, however I do have to pay an extra monthly fee. Therefore, I am totally comfortable being at yours if need be!

Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
