About: I have two dogs right now. One is a yellow lab and the other is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The Spaniel is 3 and the lab is 2. So there is a lot of energy in the house. I have experience with walking them both while on camping trips, giving them baths, playing fetch and of course laying on the couch and cuddling. I also used to have an older Cavalier King Charles Spaniel so I have experience with all ages of dogs. I love to interact and give dogs all of my attention! I have currently just finished my first year of college at Buena Vista University. I am looking to make a little more money for this summer, and this job is something I know I would enjoy. I am not sure how my summer will plan out exactly yet, but I would love to make time and will be flexible! I live in the country with a 3 acre yard. There is plenty of room to run around and play fetch if needed. I also have two dogs on my own that are very friendly and playful, but can also be calmed if needed. I will respect your needs and wants as the dogs owner.
About: We have been taking care of pets for the past 8 years, we live on the outskirts of town on a farm so your loved one will have plenty of room for walks & gator rides! We have 4 corgis of our own as well as cattle, goats, sheep, & chickens! There is so much room to run and we take pride in giving your pet the experience of a lifetime! We recently remodeled the garage next to home into a kennel facility as well. This is great for some privacy while eating & sleeping! It is also heated! We understand that pets can be nervous, so this serves as a great spot to get comfortable! We can take care of your fur babies on weeks days & weekends with short notice & everything in between! We have three extremely friendly corgis, who love to play & snuggle! We are able to accommodate any times that are needed! I stay home with our little one so my schedule is flexible to fit your needs! We do have a kennel set-up so that your furbaby can feel it has a space of its own but we also have open doors when it comes to our home! We want your pet to feel the most comfortable during their stay with us!

About: I have had numerous pets throughout the years. I have been trusted to take care of peoples cats, dogs, fish, and other animals! I had a cat and a dog growing up and miss having animals in the house, but can’t because of my husbands allergies! This will help me get my pet fix! I would be able to provide walks before and after work and more frequently on the weekends. I would be able to fit in some afternoons if it is close to my place of employment! I would keep a watchful eye on your pet while dog sitting. If out walking, I would ensure that your pet is kept at a safe distance from other animals. I would also make sure that your pet is treated with care and respect!

Going into my last year of college, I launched an in-home pet sitting business serving the Cedar Valley called Traveling Tails Pet Sitting. Traveling Tails allowed me to grow my own pet care experience and also mentor the 7 other sitters that make up our amazing team! One of my most rewarding pet care experiences was when I stayed with a very timid rescue dog named Coco. Coco was very untrusting at first and would not let me near her. However after giving her time and building trust by hand feeding her, we quickly became friends. I loved watching Coco break out of her shell and feel right at home until her family returned! I’m in a transitional season of life at this time which has allowed me to collaborate with owners to create the best schedule for their pets and their needs. I've lived in the same neighborhood for almost my whole life and feel very comfortable taking strolls around the neighborhood. My mom works from home and is almost always around. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
