“Caroline is the best dog sitter for my pup Winnie. This past weekend I forgot to bring Winnie’s food, and Caroline graciously offered to feed Winnie homemade food she made at her house so I wouldn’t have to go back and get Winnie’s kibble. She’s very kind, professional, and communicative. Winnie always has the best time with her and the other dogs 🐶💕”

“They were so comforting and took amazing care of my dog, Mila. I felt completely at ease knowing she was in good hands. They kept me updated with pictures and messages, which meant a lot. I will absolutely use them again! Thank you Barbara and Dirk.🐾🐾”

“This was the second time Tracey has watched our Bella and I was not disappointed once again. She sent daily updates with pictures which I really appreciated. I feel totally comfortable leaving my baby with her and am confident that she's in good hands! Tracey is a dog trainer, is very knowledgeable and even helped me with a trick I'd been trying to teach Bella! It's very obvious how much she cares for her own dogs but also my dog when she's in her care!! Thank you Tracey!”

“Karen was simply amazing. She took wonderful care of our dog, Daisy. And we would absolutely have her watch Daisy again. Karen offered Daisy healthy treats throughout her stay (after making sure it was okay with us). She sent pictures and updates everyday. Daisy was often cozy, comfortable, and snuggled up. Overall, it was obvious to us that Karen is a real animal lover. We are so grateful to have found her.”

“Our fur babies had the best care at Kelly and Brandon's home! They are the kindest, caring, most loving family. Kelly sent daily pictures and updates that put me at peace knowing that they were having the time of their life playing with Arvon or relaxing. Definitely home away from home💕🐾 Thank you again for your exceptional care!”

“Kelsey & Kyle take such great care of Maxx. We’re so grateful and it makes leaving Maxx a whole lot easier when we know he’s going to have a great time! Thank you!”

“Toni is accommodating, friendly and very knowledgeable about dogs, in general. Her facility is wonderful., spacious kennels, clean, orderly and dog oriented. I would highly recommend Toni.”

“It was our first time using rover.com. Our dog is a 5-year-old Lab, which comes with energy, shedding hair, a little neediness, and some periodic drool. When we read Linda's bio that they once owned a Lab as well, we figured she would be a good fit for our dog. And boy, did we hit the jackpot! She and her hubby loved on our dog like he was their very own - snuggled with him, kept him well-fed, enjoyed his playfulness, took him for walks, and even sent us photos on how he was doing while were were away. We were so relieved to leave him with such trusting, caring people which made our trip that much more enjoyable!”

“Millie had a great time with Marija! I could tell she was fed, happy, loved, and played with. I love that she had a huge fenced yard! We got regular updates. We will definitely use Marija again!”

“Best pet sitter!!! If I could give Stephanie 10 stars, I would. She took such special care of our pup, Frannie. I was so comfortable leaving my baby dog in her care for a week. I got several pictures a day and could see how happy my pup was. I love that my girl was socialized, loved, and well cared for all at the same time!”

“Holly is THE BEST!! She’s excellent with our little pup and goes above and beyond for us. She treats our dog like she’s her own child, as do we, so we truly appreciate all the kindness, love, care and attention she receives in Holly’s care! And as always, thank you for doing a superb job for us!! Scott, Melanie and Ivy!”

“Once again, Tiffani and her family took great care of my pup, Rosie, while we were on vacation! She had to help her through a couple thunderstorms for the first time, but I was happy knowing Rosie was extra loved. I appreciated the cute video updates and prompt responses. Rosie LOVES staying with Tiffani & her sweet family! They've become her "home away from home". 🩷”

“Kristin is such a great dog sitter! She was flexible with time changes and totally adjusted easily to us having to add meds to be given two times a day. And she sent us cute pics and nice updates daily.”

“Zachary was fantastic hosting Spooky for an extended stay. He was very patient with Spooky building up his confidence in his temporary home and sent lots of photos and updates about how he was doing. I can tell from the photos Spooky became quite comfortable with Zachary and in his house. I would definitely request Zachary watch Spooky again.”

“Jennifer was a fantastic pet sitter! She send daily updates on how Maple was doing like sleeping on her lap ❤️, it was reassuring to read how much she and her family cared. Thanks so much for your kindness 😊”

“Mandy was great! This was our first time using Rover and Mandy communicated with us every day with pictures and how our dog was doing, which really put our minds at ease! Kylie definitely enjoyed her stay and we look forward to using Mandy again in the future!”

About: I grew up with dogs and I have owned a dog for 40+years. I raised German Shepard and Pitbulls. Sadly, I lost both my Pitbulls last year. I love to walk dogs and snuggle as well. I am a retired teacher. I am trustworthy and understand the importance of loving and caring for all dogs. I am retired so I have flexibility. I am very busy with my grandchildren, but again, I am flexible. I will keep pets over night. I live in a condo and the community welcomes pets and there are all kinds of breeds. There is a nice grass area to walk the dogs with a lovely paved 1 mile loop to walk through a beautiful community.
“Laura was the best sitter ever! She sent pictures along with daily updates every day. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Leaving my dog with Laura was the most comfortable I have ever felt with anyone ever. Thank you Laura!”

Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
