Hi, retired and have one small dog, husband and I enjoy animals but really don't want to commit to another pet, so dog sitting is preferable. I have fostered for over 6 years when I lived in Farmington, now out here in Howell, we have acreage. We walk our dogs several times a day and also have a fenced area. We keep them in our home like our own family pet, no cages unless you prefer one or if we have to leave the house. We are home most of the time and take great care to keep dogs safe. Usually only one dog at a time, sometimes two. Not a kennel, just our home. Dogs are treated like the family pet that they are. We are especially fond of older, slower dogs who need TLC.

Becky and Duane took such good care of our Elliott! He is a handful and quite a character. We will definitely ask them to watch Elliott again, if they’ll have him.

Becky and and husband Dwayne took great care of Stewey. She sent photos of his daily, and took him for daily walks which we really appreciated. He came back happy and healthy. Their home was the perfect place for Stewey to stay while we visited family out of town on a seemingly short notice. We would love to have Becky and dog sit Stewey again when we travel.
Great experience! Rusty was loved and well cared for during his stay. The updates gave me such peace of mind, and I could tell he was happy and comfortable. I’m so grateful for the care and attention given by Becky and Duane and would definitely book again.

Schedule
We are retired and mostly home during the day. One of us is here just about all the time. We do the pet sitting as a hobby since we love dogs. We walk them, they lay by the fireplace in the winter time. We have a variety of dog beds and cages IF NEEDED.

Safety, trust & environment
We keep a vigilant eye on dogs. They are usually in the house with us or we walk on a leash in paths behind our home. If we have to leave the house, each dog is in the house or somewhere safe. Never left outside.

A typical day
Walking in paths on our 3 acres. fenced in smaller yard if they are the type to just lay in the sun under a tree to relax. They can go in and out many times a day if they prefer.
