About: I bring 12 years of hands-on experience with a local dog rescue, including fostering, training, and caring for dogs of many breeds, ages, sizes, and personalities. We have fostered everything from young puppies to dogs over 100 pounds, so I’m comfortable adapting to each dog’s individual needs and routine. I’m also comfortable administering medications and providing extra care when needed. My experience has taught me to pay close attention to a dog’s behavior, body language, comfort level, and individual personality. Because I work full-time from home and don’t travel for work, I’m able to provide plenty of companionship, supervision, and attention throughout the day. Most importantly, I understand that every dog is different. I take the time to learn what makes your dog comfortable, happy, and feel at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work full-time from home and don’t travel for work. Your dog will have plenty of companionship, attention, walks, playtime, and care throughout the day. I’ll follow their normal routine as closely as possible and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away How I Care for Pets Our personal dog passed away a few years ago, and while we aren’t ready to get another dog just yet, we truly miss having one around. He was spoiled and treated like another member of the family, and that is the same warmth and care I provide to every dog I look after. About: I have been taking care of pets for our entire lives. i have experience with dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes (as well as reptiles, fish, and plants!). i have been pet-sitting for colleagues and friends for a while now as well as caring for three cats at home. i have previously cared for cats and dogs of all ages, including animals with special needs and medication schedules. I have a fairly flexible schedule at my day job, and will coordinate around your schedule to make sure I can meet every pet's needs. I would prefer to care for pets in your home, as they're likely to be more comfortable that way (and my cats will too). However, I can make exceptions in special cases. I do prefer to have an initial meet and greet with pets and people to make sure everyone's comfortable. For house-sitting, I goal is to make sure your pet(s) are as comfortable as possible, so I will schedule my workday to be there with them as often as possible.
