About: I grew up on a farm constantly surrounded by animals and always had a furry friend to romp or nap with. I would love to hang out with your pup! My house is across the street from the beach so it’s easy to take your pup out for a romp! Disclaimer: I have a 10 lb chihuahua-mix, Tomás, who can be a little territorial. I would love to use this opportunity to help socialize him a bit more but taking care of your pup is my priority. Should they not get along, I can keep them separated by keeping Tomás in my room and allowing your pup free range in the rest of the house. I have watched dogs of all sizes with Tomás and have not had any problems, but I want to be transparent! I work from home and travel, so I can usually take walking breaks as often as needed. Whatever schedule your pup is on, it works for me. I follow instructions strictly from the owner, including crate rules, sleeping rules, exercise, interactions with other dogs and humans, food, treats, and even working on training! About: With 16 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds and temperaments, I’ve developed a deep understanding of their needs, behaviors, and well-being. My experience includes everything from daily walks and feeding to administering medication, grooming, and providing loving companionship. I recently left my career as a mental health therapist to homeschool my child. He has a huge passion for animals, and in addition to our pup at home, we both would like more experiences taking care of and being around other animals. We have time out in the community built into his school schedule each day where checking-in or dog walking would fit in nicely. I will work to build rapport and get to know your pet’s behaviors, routines and any special needs. I’ll strictly adhere to your guidelines for feeding, exercise and any special care needed. I’ll be sure to keep your home secure by locking doors and securing gates to ensure the safety of your pet and home. I’ll treat your home with care and communicate with you regularly. I’m highly observant and will watch for any signs of illness or distress in your pet and will address them and reach out to you promptly.

“Danielle was a fantastic dog/cat sitter! She always kept us up to date with her check in’s. My dog was happy to have someone to hang out with while we were gone. We will definitely use her again. Thanks Danielle!”

“This was the first time we had left our 2 little ones alone for an extended time. She was great with sending updates and sending pictures of all the fur babies every day. Thanks for making a vacation less stressful with having a great person to watch our fur babies.”

About: Hi there! My name is Taylor, and I recently graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in Biology. I’ve been pet sitting for over 8 years, starting back in high school, and I absolutely love spending time with animals of all kinds! I have experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and training levels—including dogs, cats, and more. I am currently a summer intern at the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center, where I care for sea turtles on a daily basis. While I’m unable to provide in-home boarding, I offer drop-in visits and overnight stays in your home to keep your pets comfortable in their own environment. I'm based in Surf City but happy to travel to nearby areas. I'd love the opportunity to meet your furry (or scaly!) loved ones. Looking forward to connecting with you soon! Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m available for in-home stays or drop-in visits and can provide walks and care before work (around 7 AM), during lunch (around noon), and after work (around 4 PM). I also have availability throughout the evening and overnight, making it easy for me to accommodate a variety of schedules and pet needs! As a summer intern currently staying in provided housing, I'm not able to offer in-home boarding. However, I'm very comfortable caring for pets in their own homes and have extensive experience with both drop-in visits and overnight stays. I make sure to follow each pet’s routine closely and provide plenty of attention, playtime, and care to keep them happy and comfortable while you're away! It is very important to me that you are confident your pet is taken care of with no worries, so I like to send frequent updates and photos as well. It's also very important to me that my clients come home to a clean, tidy house—just the way they left it.

About: Hello, my name is Faith. I’ve been pet-sitting for 12 years and absolutely love all types of animals, both big and small. I have experience taking care of and walking all types of dogs and cats. Not only do I provide a great service for them, I also provide the love and affection that the owner would give if they were present. I work from home so am available to the animals all day. My neighborhood has lots of walking trails that I’d love to enjoy with your pup. We also have a dog park nearby that I love to take my own dog to that I can take your pup to (with parents permission of course!). I am happy to accommodate special requests. I even have grooming / bathing experience from my own pup as well. My goal is for you, the pet owner, to enjoy your time away and have the rest taken care of for your fur baby. With two pets of my own, I understand how important this is to pet owners. If you have any questions about my services, please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask. I work from home - so I am home all day every day to care for your pet. This helps me be extra flexible and to meet your pets need. Also, they will never be lonely! I have a large indoor space for your pet, pet beds, toys, treats and whatever your pet desires! Your pet will be safe, cared for and loved while in my care.

About: Hey guys - I’m Jenna! I am a full time pet lover and a full time certified dental assistant. For as long as I can remember, I have always felt connected to animals. Yes, most times more so than humans! 🤗 I have extensive experience in caring for many different pets. Large and small breed dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, etc. There is truly NO animal that I wouldn’t be happy to learn to take care of. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had some type of animal in my home. I grew up with 10+ cats, numerous dogs and hamsters among other pets. This past January, my partner, Matt & I and our 10 year old daughter, Izzy, rescued a 4 year old American Pit Terrier mix named Winnie. And we are in LOVE! As a couple who has always had a soft spot for pitties, this is the third we have owned one together. Winnie was at a foster with 7 other dogs, numerous cats & a 4 year old and has time and time again shown to be great with all three! As far as boarding another pet, we are unfortunately up in the air at the moment and would have to take each animal on a pet to pet basis. Since we’ve gotten her she has shown no signs of aggression towards other animals or kids and we are open to the possibility if we schedule a time for our pets to meet! As mentioned before, Matt & I have owned pitties for the past 5 years off and on. We have gone through training with a few as well. After the heartbreak of losing 2 of our best friends (our fur babies, of course) in this time, we took a break and decided to foster and pet sit in our time of grieving. We have fostered/petsat 6 dogs of all different breeds. Even two of the sweetest deaf pitties in which we have petsat a handful of times. Throughout the years petsitting them, we have been lucky enough to advance in our knowledge in Deaf Dog Sign Language (DDSL). In the year 2024, we spent more time fostering or petsitting a dog than without. To put it simply, Matt and I have always had a huge heart for animals of all kind. We believe our pets are OUR FAMILY; they DESERVE the absolute BEST care possible. As I mentioned before, I am a dental assistant, but my passion has and will forever be animals! The petcare will be my responsibility unless otherwise notified. In any other instance, my partner, Matt will be there to assist. He has a very flexible job that allows him to be available most days around or after 12pm. We look forward to meeting all of your sweet pets! Please feel free to message with any questions or concerns. Every other week I have Mondays and Fridays off. The other weeks I work Tuesdays through Thursdays from 8-5. As mentioned before, Matt and I are available pretty much every weekend and all weekdays. For weekdays, visiting/walking/feeding/check-ins we can do up to three visits. We have about 2 acres fenced in for our fur baby, Winnie and our 10 year old daughter, Izzy! (Izzy is also super helpful & has our animal loving genes 😆) No pet we have ever had has stayed outside overnight and having the land, we always have time to play if and when your pet wants! We have crate trained in the past and we have not. We believe every animal is different in their needs. Winnie currently does not go in a crate when we leave. As mentioned before, a boarding situation would be a pet by pet basis. We would require a meeting prior to the boarding arrangement.

About: I enjoy all breads, especially the mixed little rascals! I believe it takes a patient heart to care for animals. We really have to pay attention to their body language and behaviors to make sure they are happy and healthy. I’ll be what your pupper looks forward to when your away! Emergency last minute trip? I’m just a call away. I have very flexible hours, and you can reach me on my cell by text, call, or voicemail. My specialties include but are not limited to; exercising, calming anxiety, potty breaks (using positive reinforcement for pups in training) I am located in San Clemente, and willing to travel for those who need last minute service. Give me a shout, I’d love to help you out!

Lisa B.
“Lisa loves dogs and they love her! I have known Lisa for close to 4 years and during that time she met and took care of my 2 fur babies. My 70lbs boxer male was at times a bit difficult but Lisa understood his needs and they got along great. A ball he got as a gift from Lisa became his most prized possession and he was always so happy to see her! Lisa also took care of my puppy girl Lipa (6 month old boxer) for a week over christmas/new years. Lisa made her feel right at home and even had some toys waiting for her. We got lots of pictures and updates over the week, which was great since we really missed the little monster. Lisa's apartment, with a backyard and a dog park right around the corner, is perfect for dogs. Any energetic dog will have no problem getting lots of exercise. I would highly recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a loving place to board their pup.”

“A bit biased as her father, but Taylor had done an amazing job taking care of pets since she was a teenager. She has always been very responsible, forms a great bond with the animals in her care, and keeps them tired, loved, and fed. We recently added two rescues to the family and she has bonded with them as well.”

“I have known Jenna for over 5 years. I have learned that she is an honest and trustworthy person. One of the things Jenna and I share is our love for animals, especially dogs. I have 2 special needs dogs (deaf). Jenna has watched them for me when we go on vacation. They love her and I trust her completely to take care of them. I'm very careful about who watches my dogs and I would have no trouble recommending Jenna to anyone who needs someone to watch their furbabies.”
