“Paige did a wonderful job taking care of my fur baby. Sent me pictures daily of my baby, took him for walks, loved on him. I couldn't have been more pleased. Chris O”

“My dog is needy and spoiled. He is set in his ways and expects lots of attention and treats. To put it simply- he is a handful! I could tell by our meet and greet that Emily was a good fit. She kept us updated and sent pics which helped ease our anxiety. I would definitely use her again and recommend her services to anyone who needs a dog sitter.”

“Jenelle and her family genuinely took the best care of Hallow and gave multiple updates with pictures and videos. My dog was actually sad to leave there and was so comfortable, I almost felt bad taking her from them!!”

“Definitely recommend Madison to watch my pup. She has few other dogs and I was not sure how she would react with other dogs as she likes to play but can sometimes be a handful. Madison was nice enough to meet Nala before I even booked and let her meet her dogs so we could see how they would react. She put my mind at ease by sending videos and pictures during Nalas stay showing me how Nala was getting along with her pups and just having a grand ole time. She has plenty of field for dogs to run around and enjoy/ tire themselves out. Will definitely be trusting her with my pup again and can not recommend her enough.”

“Charlie looks forward to going over! He gets spoiled and pampered when he's there. She's our go to baby sitter everytime we go out of town. We always get quick responses and we also receive pictures through out the day. If you need a baby sitter this is the perfect place to be.”

About: I love dogs.I grew up with dogs.I’m kind, patient, gentle, and caring. We have a 2 y.o.Lhasa Apso. I hope to see your fur baby soon!! I am home more frequently at the moment. I have time to care for pets. Plenty of time. To play , walk, and board fur babies. Zola is on a potty schedule which works great. She is walking on a retractable leach twice a day and often times plays ,sleeps, etc in my room or throughout the house. She eats typically 3 times a day, more is she likes.
“Celene was fantastic! She’s easy going and flexible with the pick up and drop off. She loves dogs and took such great care of Vinnie. We received multiple updates a day with photos. Vinnie got along with Penny really well. Would recommend and use her again!”

About: I would say what sets me apart is I’ve had special training incase of any type of emergency or mishap. I am a very forgiving person also. My schedule is fairy open so I have time to fit most a lot of things in. One of which is taking care of animals I most walk them at the park or play with animals in my house. My home can fit 1-2 dogs or 3 cats at a time
“Cindy was great! I was in a pinch and needed to find someone quick. I was a little nervous, at first, because Kelly can get really anxious with strangers. I'm so glad I found Cindy and her family...Kelly had a great time!”

“This was our first time using Rover.com, and Mark was great. He took our dog for a walk and seemed to genuinely care about our pet. We recommend him as a petsitter!”

“We are so happy to have found Angela. Our Miniature Schnauzer puppy loved the wide open yard and all the tender loving care received from her and the family. Angela kepst in touch and sent lots of updates and videos of Howard interacting with her dogs...He was having a blast...so much better than putting him in a Kennel. Angela definitely gets five stars and we will look for her again for our next trip. Dave and Caroline”

“If you’re fortunate enough to have the opportunity for Aunt Janelle to watch your pups, you absolutely should! She took our athletic, high energy dog on walks, played fetch, and spoiled him rotten with love and cuddles!! She sent photos and videos of Cody having a great time throughout his stay. It was easy to enjoy my trip knowing that Janelle was taking such great care of our fur son. I could go on for days about how she’s the best choice to watch your pup-from start to finish. She cares about the safety of every dog she watches and doesn’t accept pets that she doesn’t trust. Thank you so much for taking in our big baby boy and treating him like your own!!!”

“Logan and Ellie were great pup sitters! They were available last minute and accommodated my pup more than I could ever ask for. They treated my baby girl like she was family. Great communication and even sent multiple pictures. Highly recommend! Will be using their services again.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
