“Penny was fantastic with my pup! It was such a gift to find her and know he was in good hands when we were out of town. My puppy is a challenging, high energy guy, who could not stay just anywhere. Penny has so much knowledge and provided an enriching environment for him with new experiences. She even spent time training him, including new cues like having him lay down on his bed. I received daily updates and photos from Penny and will surely use her again if needed!!”

About: I am a Registered Veterinary Technician at a shelter I used to volunteer for, and have had my own dogs and cats my entire life. I’ve recently gone part-time and would enjoy walking your pets or stopping in for those needed potty breaks. I used to walk dogs for the shelter I now work at. I also foster animals for them, most dogs and puppies. I work at the shelter Thursdays and Fridays. I am available other days of the week on a part-time basis. I don’t have preferred days in mind at this time. I will certainly follow all instructions provided and will treat your pet as my own while in my care. I will respect and properly care for your home environment.

About: Hi! I’m Lily, and caring for animals is genuinely one of my favorite things in life. I’ve had pets my whole life and have also worked at a doggy daycare, so I’m very comfortable handling dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I own dogs myself—they’re very docile and love having friends—so I understand how important it is to find someone you fully trust with your pets. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including anxious pups and dogs with special needs. One of my dogs is deaf and responds to sign, so I’m especially patient, attentive, and tuned in to nonverbal communication. Whether your pet needs high-energy playtime, structured walks, or just a calm and comforting presence, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I’ll treat them like they’re my own—lots of love, attention, and updates so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. I’m reliable, communicative, and genuinely excited to meet your pets. I can’t wait to give them the care they deserve! My schedule is flexible and allows me to provide consistent care throughout the day. I currently work full-time, but I’m in the process of transitioning roles, which gives me increasing availability. My partner is home by 2:30 PM every day, and we’re both home in the evenings, so your pet will have plenty of supervision, attention, and company. We make sure pets are never left alone for long periods and always prioritize their comfort and routine. I’m happy to work with your pet’s specific schedule and needs—just let me know what works best for them! Your pet’s safety is my top priority. We have a fully fenced-in backyard with turf, providing a clean and secure space for safe outdoor play and bathroom breaks. Inside, our home is pet-proofed to prevent access to anything unsafe, and we always supervise interactions to ensure a calm and controlled environment. I’m attentive to each dog’s behavior and needs, and I take introductions slowly to make sure everyone feels comfortable. You can trust that your pet will be in a safe, secure, and well-managed environment at all times.
“Nea’s time with Mary went so well! We will definitely book with Mary in the future. She sent pictures videos of Nea while we were away and also sent us texts everyday letting us know how she was doing. Nea came home tired from getting to play with Mary’s sweet dogs. We are grateful she had a great time. Thank you!”

About: Hello fellow fur parents! I'm Caitlin, I am a fur mama myself, not to just those I own, but to everyone else's pets but to also the strays. I know how it feels to have to leave your furbabies in someone else's care, especially to someone you never even met. It's worrisome and not a go-to situation. But I can put your mind at ease. I promise, your pet will be cared for and treated as if it were my own child too. I love all animals, no discrimination of species, breed, age, health problems, nothing. Caring for animals is what I love and do best. I love being able to give others the sense of relief knowing they left their animals in good hands and can enjoy their time away without having to worry. And to make you feel extra comfortable, I send videos and pictures along with detailed updates every couple of hours. So go on and take that weekend get-away, family vacation, road trip & know you left your babies with someone reliable and trustworthy. I have years of experience including professional. I also caretake in livestock with extra charge. With my current schedule, I am available in the late afternoons, evenings and nights, including overnight stays. I will only be away for the mornings until the late afternoon for work. Your furbaby will then have their entire afternoon to play outside to their hearts content, get some dinner, then enjoy their evening/nights getting all the lovins and relaxion until it's time to sleep. I have a dog of my own along with 2 cats. Your dog will have to be cat friendly to stay. No exceptions. I have large yard with plenty of space to run. It is not fenced but it is far from the road and any dangers. They will be attended to at all times, so they will always be safe.

“Debra was awesome! She was well over expectations for giving updates and she even sent a video! I could tell she took very good care of my puppy and even baked a puppy food cake for her birthday! Highly recommend her.”

“Destiney was so sweet! She sent me videos of my puppy while I was away. She responds back quickly to messages and has great customer service overall. She gave my puppy a bath prior to me picking him up which was an added bonus. Lastly, she was very accommodating and understanding when I had issues with the pickup time due to unforeseen circumstances. I will definitely book all my future dog boarding with her. This was my first time booking with Rover and I want to thank Destiney for such a wonderful experience.”

About: A Different Approach: dogs should have a multidimensional life just like humans! By multidimensional I mean that they should have fun activities throughout the day that stimulate their senses, use their brains to solve puzzles/obstacles and gain new experiences through adventure! This is something I have incorporated in my successful pet sitting/boarding business I have in Washtenaw county changing countless pets lives and the standard of care they are provided. After moving to La Salle one year ago, my responsibilities have become completely remote allowing me to spend more time at home! Boarding a few dogs at our home has been such a wonderful experience and we are ready to add a few more furiends to our list! Do you think your dog is ready for a new experience while you are away enjoying yours? Pet care comes naturally in our house! We wake up about 6am for potties, have breakfast, then have an activity/adventure about 10-2, have a nice nap, have dinner, potty walks come after food and then play time for the dogs who have high energy or snuggles on the couch for those who are tuckered out from our day already then potty before bed about 10pm. Dogs in our home are treated as part of the family! Our house is void of clutter for any curious chewers, plenty of comfy blankets for nap times, no sharp edges or glass anywhere to be hazardous for rambunctious days (aside from our kitchenware but the dogs eat from stainless steel dishwasher safe bowls rather than our human plates and bowls 🤣), we have a separate refrigerator for the dog food that needs to be refrigerated especially if a dog has a raw meat diet, each dog gets their own bin to put their things in like food and treats so that there is no cross contamination if someone has an allergy, we take every precaution for keeping pets from escaping including the double door method (making sure the dogs are behind one secured door in the play room before we open the front door for example). We also have multiple fenced in areas that are separated so that one yard is for potty, one for play time and one for stretching legs to keep everything clean and secured. If your dog is known to jump fences we will ask kindly to choose a different pet sitter with a fence higher than our 4ft fence to prevent any escaping. If your dog experiences the will to try to be curious of jumping a fence we do have a very long lead secured to cement so that they can still play safely. If there are ever any comments, questions or concerns we are completely transparent and hope all of our clients extend this kindness to us! Communication is so incredibly important to make sure all of our guests have the best time possible.
“Emily and her family were amazing!! The dogs had a great time staying overnight which made it easier for us to visit family. She kept us updated on how they were doing and sent numerous pics of our pups. She will be our go to whenever we are up that way again.”

“Lisa took great care of Lulu. It usually takes her a few days to bounce back to normal after boarding, but after the week with Lisa she was her normal self right away. Eating, sleeping and playing like her normal self. Lisa was also great about communicating with us during Lulu’s stay with her. Will definitely book with Lisa again.”

“My Chihuahua, Carlos, couldn't have been in better hands. I left my best buddy with Sadey for a 5 day stay at her residence while I was travelling. Sadey sent me updates and photos daily and even took Carlos to see Santa Claus. The care was second to none, and when it was time to go home, I could swear Carlos wanted to stay, lol. This was the first time I had left Carlos with anyone and I wouldn't hesitate to hire Sadey again. So much better than leaving your pet in a caged, concrete floored, kennel. Highly recommend!”

“Cindy was great! I was referred to her by my sister. She Kept us updated throughout our dogs stay. Dogs looked happy, she also took them on a walk. Would definitely use her again.”

“Mary and Skip are wonderful and caring dog sitters! Jojo loves spending time with them. They give her so much love and attention. We always feel confident that she is well taken care of.”

“Our pup stayed with Kayla for a week while we were traveling and Kayla was awesome. She was super communicative with pics and updates and it was such a relief knowing that our doggo was in good hands while we were away! Would highly recommend booking with Kayla ??”
About: I provide personalized pet care for dogs and cats of all ages — from high-energy pups who need plenty of walks and playtime to senior pets who appreciate slow strolls and calm companionship. My services include drop-in visits, walks, and overnight boarding, each tailored to your pet’s unique needs, habits, and comfort level. I’m known for being responsive and detail oriented, with a strong reputation for consistent five star experiences. ⭐ Senior pets hold a special place in my heart, but I truly love them all- from first wags to grey muzzles. “Beth is an absolute Godsend! We brought our service dog, Cooper, with us to Toledo to visit family. We bring Cooper with us everywhere and have never had a problem. This time, the Airbnb we stayed at saw Cooper on their door cam and told us we couldn’t have him there (which is discrimination and illegal). Anyway, I opened up Rover and reached out to Beth after reading through about 15 different bios. Beth was gracious enough to accommodate us extremely last minute, and take Cooper in. Her house and yard were safe and secure both indoor and out. We were very comfortable in the vast experience and skill set she has in animal care. She took exceptional care of Coop, and he had the greatest time playing with her doggies. The pix she sent were epic! Beth was amazing and had the perfect space for “doggie summer camp”, and she was an incredible host. We absolutely cannot recommend her highly enough!”

Lambertville pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jayden and Lisa took such great care of our Mazie! She was with them for a week, and I could tell just how comfortable and at home she was from the pictures they sent. Mazie and their dog Redford got along well, and I never worried about how she was doing while we were gone because I knew she was in great hands!

Kristie is as kind as can be! She was also very flexible with the immediate need that I had and the time change that came up at the very end. I felt so safe leaving my little dog with her. Definitely, I will look for Kristie every time I have need of care for my Zach!
