About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember, and I’ve loved every second of it. Dogs bring so much happiness into our lives, and I truly believe they deserve the best care and attention possible. I know it can be tough for pups when their family is away, so my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re gone. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, or playtime, I’ll make sure your dog feels cared for every step of the way. I’m a junior in college and currently help train and socialize service dogs in training, so I’m very comfortable reading dog behavior and making sure each pup gets what they need. I’m also great with watching more than one dog at a time and love giving them all the attention they deserve! I’m currently a student at Miami University, and pet care is one of my favorite ways to spend my breaks when I’m home from school! Since I’m not too busy during those times—especially over winter break—I have plenty of time to give your pup all the love and attention they deserve. I may take a short trip to visit family here and there, but I’ll always make sure your dog is fully cared for and happy while you’re away. Spending time with dogs truly brightens my days, and I can’t wait to meet yours! I always make sure to follow your expectations and routines because every dog is unique, and what matters most to me is caring for your pup the way you would. I’ll stick to their usual feeding schedule, give plenty of potty breaks, and keep their day as normal and comfortable as possible. I’m also experienced with giving medication and handling basic medical care if needed. Most importantly, I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and at ease while they’re with me at your home (I will not be doing care in my home).
“Diana is the absolute best! I feel so safe and secure leaving my babies with Diana while at work knowing they'll be loved and cared for by her just like I would. My babies and I are so lucky and thankful to have her in our lives!”

“Emily is fantastic! I was a little anxious about leaving my 17 year old cat, who takes awhile to warm up to people, but Emily worked her cat whisperer charm! Both cats were happy, calm, and well loved while we were away. Emily sent loving pictures and updates, and it was so nice to come home to calm kitties. She is thoughtful, responsive, and reliable. We will definitely book with Emily again!”

“Rachel is wonderful taking care about our cats, she is great with them and also leaving the cat litter box area clean. Desmond and Bolica are super happy to get she as cat sitter, we have repeated with her and we continue to do it.”

“Stephanie did a wonderful job with Agustín. I was a bit nervous because we hadn’t left him alone in quite some time. Agustín is shy, but when he met Stephanie, he felt comfortable and safe. She is very caring, sends timely messages, and definitely took great care of him during our absence. I cannot recommend her enough!🤍”

About: I’ve had dogs around my whole life. I’ve had a couple puppies and have done basic training with them. From young to seniors I’ve had to give medications or special diets. Caring for animals is already part of my everyday life. I have four cats of my own, so feeding, playtime, and snuggles are part of my routine. Adding dog walks, drop-ins, or extra cuddle sessions fits in easily. I have a flexible schedule, which means I can dedicate time to making sure your pets get the love, exercise, and attention they need throughout the day. I don’t host animals in my own home, but I’m more than happy to care for your pets in their home where they feel most comfortable. I’ll follow your routines closely whether that’s feeding times, walks, playtime, or bedtime snuggles to make sure everything feels normal and stress free for them.
“Raegan went above and beyond while caring for my two cats! Great communication, lots of updates and pictures daily! I never had to worry while on my vacation because she kept me in the loop the entire time. You did such a great job Raegan, thank you so much! I will definitely be getting ahold of you again in the future! 🥰”

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Holland. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
