We spend a lot of time outside walking, playing, and getting fresh air. I walk daily and am happy to take your dog along with me 2–3x per day if desired. If you need boarding, drop-ins, or extra walks while you’re away, I am here to help

To make sure your dog has the best experience possible, I’d love to know as much as you can share about them. Temperament is especially important since we have children and another dog in the home. There is never too much information — the more honest and detailed you are, the better we can set your pup up for success. Helpful things to share include: • How your dog does with children (all ages) • How they do with other dogs • Feeding schedule and any allergies • Any anxieties, quirks, or behaviors we should know about • Potty training status • Energy level and preferred activities Please bring any comfort items your dog loves, such as a bed, toy, or blanket. I have treats on hand, but please let me know if your pup has sensitivities, and feel free to send your own. Meet-and-greets are required before any stay. Virtual is fine, but in-person is preferred so your dog can relax and get familiar with us.
A typical day
I love to practice any tricks your dog may know, we can go for walks and check out the neighborhood I live in. There is an open play area at the front that we can let them run around as well! Also close by is a beautiful park. My three kids love dogs so we will make sure your pup gets alllllll the attention and love it needs!

I’ve had dogs my entire life and truly see them as family. I’ve cared for friends’ dogs overnight, provided regular walks, and helped with drop-ins for years. I now have one friendly 3-year-old mini Bernedoodle of my own. Dog care is a natural fit for me — I love giving pups attention, structure, affection, and play. This is a family experience as well; my kids (11, 9, and 7) have grown up around dogs and are wonderful, gentle helpers. We understand dog body language, needs, and boundaries, and we want every dog to feel safe and loved while in our home. I would be honored to care for your pup and give them all the comfort, exercise, and affection they need while you’re away.

Jenelle was the absolute best!! She and her family took such great care of cooper and sent so many sweet updates:) she was also incredibly flexible and was truly a life saver when our travel plans changed! Felt so good to know our fur baby was so well taken care of❤️
Jenelle and her family genuinely took the best care of Hallow and gave multiple updates with pictures and videos. My dog was actually sad to leave there and was so comfortable, I almost felt bad taking her from them!!

This was hands down the best experience I've had on Rover by far. Though Jenelle is new to this platform, she's not new to dogs and has had her own for at least two decades. Our golden was so happy in her care she hesitated to come home with us right away! She's never done that before. And the entire time Jenelle kept me updated with pictures and messages on how our pup was doing, walked her twice a day, and overall just gave her all the love and attention I could ask for. Truly a top notch hostess and sitter and worth way more than what she's charging. We will be repeat clients from now on.
